Grossly grossly overpriced piece of junk

If you are a personal trainer looking for a software solution for your clients, PLEASE look elsewhere. I am now stuck with this thing because it’s what my trainer uses but I absolutely hate it. First, $20 a month for what? A training log? I used to get a completed form with exercises from my trainer and I didn’t have to pay for it. Now I get an annoying app that I can’t even write my reps or notes in. I can only tick a box. If you are the kind of person who wants to obsessively track how you’re feeling and hydration and exertion levels bla bla(which is better done in myfitnesspal anyway, and just tick a box mind you) you might like this. Another plus is that it can hold videos of exercises which your trainer uploads. Major downsides other than stupid price is you cannot interrupt a workout. Gotta finish what you started or BridgeTracker will make life difficult for you. Even worse, the dashboard my trainer gets doesn’t even show how much of the program I completed - she just sees that I opened it that day. Piece of junk not likely to survive in next few years I’d say.

Disappointing customer service

I had really high hopes for this since I am a former competitive athlete and I used core performance back in the day. After they switched to Bridge was excited to try them. I gave them my information and gym equipment I had access to and they built the program. In the initial phases it was mostly body weight stuff and it was fine albeit elementary but I figured it was a ramp up program. I soon discovered that they completely disregarded my input and had equipment that I didn’t not have access to and there is no way to substitute or alter the program from BridgeTracker or the website. I contacted support several times by email and through social media and they promised to fix it but never did. Really disappointed.

Overall good with room for improvement

I have been using Bridge Athletic from the start.
I use it to deliver programs to clients who do their workouts on their own or come into the studio for PT once per week and do the other workout days on their own. I also have a client in London.
I started using the program templates (limited) but ended up writing my own custom programs. I upload my own exercises and create my own custom templates. Tech support is limited.

Great app horrible customer service

I love BridgeTracker and the workouts. However, the program doesn’t seem to adapt over time or really change the loads based on my progress. Also, every time I reach the end of a cycle, I have to send multiple in app messages, emails, and one time, I even had to call in order for the program to be updated with new workouts. The organization may treat their organizational subscribers better, which is a shame for those of us paying because we thought this would be a good service to use for our weight workouts.

A suggestion for a fix

I have trouble getting to see the timer. Since it shows hour:minutes:seconds, the actual seconds are hidden unless it ends with a one or a seven, so you do 30ish seconds on an exercise.

So I have to switch to a different timer which can be annoying.

That’s my only complaint.

Game changer for fitness professionals

Amazing app and features to make programs for your clients. This is an absolute game changer in my business as it saves myself hours of writing programs and makes it easier to implement in our personal training sessions. Single handedly best change I’ve made to our gym in years.

Solid app but UI is too sensitive

Love BridgeTracker, glad my trainer uses it. Makes it very easy. That said, a recent update made it so sensitive that I accidentally change values when lifting. Wish there was a lock toggle or something. Otherwise great.

Makes working out fun and easy!

With Bridge my workout is organized and clear. Video demonstrations, timer, and a space to put the amount of weight lifted are just some of the accommodations Bridge gives you.

Apple Watch support and support and exercise swap

App works pretty well, but need the ability to swap exercises and support for Apple Watch to make it great.

By

New ui very difficult to use

The new ui is a downgrade from the previous. The timer/stopwatch gets stuck over the exercise, and when I swipe down it often goes to the next or previous exercise instead of dismissing it. Also, the countdown timer defaults to 59 seconds and not the length of the exercise.

Poorly Executed Product

The idea behind Bridge is a good one, but the execution is incredibly poor. The administering and recording of programs is far too limited in Bridge. It is even more deficient on the technical side, which often appears to have the technical sophistication of a self-taught high-school-aged programmer designing their first app. If you have a choice, I would not use it.

Enjoying app

Two weeks in, so far so good. Enjoying workouts, like the idea of the phases. It would be cool if it collected data from my Apple Watch and smart scale as well.

Very good

BridgeTracker is very good. I have been using this for some time now and it has not failed me.

Great

BridgeTracker is great. I swim and it lets my coach see my workouts and how much no workout. I have gained more muscles tremendously!

No Apple health integration

Good app overall. I’d say if that were integrated this would be changed to a 5 star.

Amazing!!

BridgeTracker is awesome! I get personalized and challenging workouts twice a week and am so much stronger than I've ever been. I've been shaving seconds off my PR and I know it's because I'm finally getting good strength and conditioning training!

Glitching

BridgeTracker has become completely unusable. I don’t know if it’s because of the new iOS or the new Bridge update, but it glitches and crashes every time I try to open it. It had been good but it’s now useless.

Get the timer to work

The timer is useless in BridgeTracker and it’s infuriating.

Switching back and forth between apps to use a timer makes me never recommend BridgeTracker

Fix this please

Want to cancel

Trying to cancel this program and the fit one but it’s very difficult, instructions are vague

App freezes

Too many freezes and shut downs. Shameful
