WorkJam is the bane of my existence at work. It’s buggy, never loads correctly (don’t even get me started trying to navigate it on a desktop). I have quite literally never had so many issues with an app, and one that my job makes us have. It doesn’t communicate with our main scheduling system correctly so shifts are wrong often, you cannot approve your time card from WorkJam , and you cannot request days off. The “task” feature is a nightmare and tedious for no reason. In theory having my schedule on my phone is great, but what is the point when I have to delete WorkJam /reinstall it, reset all settings at least once a week and it still won’t work.

Trying to use WorkJam has been very frustrating. Initially I was able to see my schedule and other information needed for my work. I used the stay logged in feature and unfortunately one day could only see a blank screen. I logged out and tried to log back in with no success. Now I get an error message that states the data couldn’t be read because it’s missing. Also, more times than not, it doesn’t give the option to put in a password. I hope you can correct this issue! I would really like to see my schedule. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Main functional issues are: Persistent notifications for surveys that won’t go away after completed; and most critically my notifications are not arriving correctly, mainly notifying me on the wrong day for upcoming shifts. Consistently wrong, saying I have a shift coming up today when it’s coming tomorrow. Tried setting to hours before or one day and getting erratic results no matter the choices. Just full of nonsense so far… I’ve tried logging out, I’ve reinstalled, and then I also see no available update.

A combination of terrible user friendliness, Shotty programming, and what is obviously a scam since the servers they use have to be 2003 laptops running a pirated version of windows 95. If you’re a company looking for a scheduling software just use hot schedule or even just start a group chat. Save your money. Wouldn’t be surprised if this company was just a money laundering front that took off because a cartel boss chose a catchy name. An Absolutely disgusting app that has no business being used in 2022.

I was excited to download WorkJam but so far it’s only been an app icon. My schedule doesn’t reflect my actual schedule at all. I do have access to discussions and topics, but I thought the point was mostly for scheduling?

Also, there’s no way to sync with your actual calendar, which is a must this day in age.

WorkJam looks pretty, but beyond that it’s nothing special.

WorkJam constantly logs me out and when I try to get back onto it, it takes me through a loop from this app to Authenticator and back. I have many apps on my phone and none require as much effort to get opened up. Once I get into it, I don’t feel that it adds any value to my life. I look at my schedule when I’m on the job and keep up with it that way.

I have to use WorkJam for my retail job and it’s honestly so frustrating to use a lot of the time because it’s super slow, nothing loads quickly, and half the time when I get a notification that something has changed on my schedule, I never actually see a change on WorkJam and so I have to rely on calling my store to know my actual hours or wait until I have a shift to see the paper schedule. And don’t even get me started on time card approvals because it doesn’t actually work in WorkJam so at the end of the pay period, I have to approve the time card in a different way because this app’s doesn’t work correctly.

Great for looking at my schedule in advance, swapping shifts, etc. WorkJam really needs the ability to control notifications. I don’t need to be alerted that I am available to work at 3AM… I am trying to sleep. It would be nice to have the ability to set just upcoming shift reminders

My work uses this app as it’s only way to schedule and get in contact with coworkers. (besides having personal contacts) this app has worked pretty well for me, except on my phone once in a while it will randomly log me out and not let me log back in. It says that some data is missing, which doesn’t make sense because I put in all the correct information and it works perfectly fine after a few days. This is really annoying, especially when I need to see when I work the next day. Like I said, besides this occasional glitch it is a great app.

I work in retail, WorkJam is easy to follow and love the notifications when there’s an update to my schedule. What really bothers me that when you have the Face ID enabled to sign in and it doesn’t catch your face it makes you sign in from the beginning. Basically as if you barely got WorkJam .

Work jam is fine when it’s working. But it tends to have bugs like not being able to open up messages or a notification that won’t go away. There’s been several times where WorkJam is completely down as well. Not sure if it’s due to it not being optimized for iOS15 yet

WorkJam is useful but I’d love to receive and email/text notification. I’d love to see if I could receive an automatic sync with my maps to tell me my route to work. I’d love to see it sync with the calendar in order to have it on my calendar app.

It would also be useful to customize WorkJam face a little more than dark/light mode. Tbh I’d like to be able to put custom backgrounds in WorkJam interface and custom tones for the shift alert. I don’t want work to sound so regal and corporate. I

Overall great app… but, it could be better. For example, when clocking out a screen is prompted asking if your hours look correct for that shift worked, the screen comes up but your hours don’t actually show so you can’t validate it

Been using this for a while now and it works well. Could really use a watch complication or the ability to either subscribe to a calendar or export the schedule to a calendar so shifts show up on the watch. My zoning updates sometimes daily so having it auto update upon changes in a watch complication would be super helpful!!

WorkJam is great! Helps for work schedules however I’m constantly having to reinstall and trouble shoot my phone because some feature won’t load. Not sure if it’s my service or WiFi because I move around diff areas often.

I love WorkJam and it’s improved my experience working with my schedule. I would love to see the addition of Widgets. It could be simple to show next upcoming shift similar to the tile when you first open WorkJam or a larger widget that shows next upcoming 5 days.

Notification badges will not go away. I can read every message, open every file, etc and the badges won’t go away. Defeats the purpose of knowing when new messages come through. The only solution is to delete WorkJam and redo load it.
Otherwise the all is great.
I couldn’t submit a bug report with the way my company has partnered with this app. So this was my only option.

I enjoy WorkJam - yet almost every week I have to resign in again - it would be nice if work jam wouldn’t do that - it’s a work out when you have to do it every week or every other week

Wish there was an option to share my schedule with my iPhone calendar so it’s easier to schedule around that, I used to have the hot schedules app and that allowed me

The company had to do an upgrade which logged me off. I have exceeds the attempts to log in and have tried to change my password
A million times by sending myself an email. I have not received an email from the company. It’s very frustrating when you have NO Email for 3 weeks!!! Please someone help me

The Mandated days at Peytons Northern was Every single week.. Sometimes One day a week up to 3 Mandated days per week if you worked the weekend shift. Anyways, the week of June 16th. I was supposively mandated twice.. but never showed. I even called and messaged the Coordinator who assigns our mandates days, (also have screenshots). He said if it doesn’t show that I’m scheduled, than don’t come in unless I wanted to. Anyways, I went on vacation for 5 days after that day. I came back and they said I didn’t come in on Friday and got fired.. But WorkJam Doesn’t refresh.. I’ve had someone take my shift or half shift 2 or 3 times and it Never showed up.. than I go on break, turn phone on and realize I wasn’t even suppose to be there..MORAL OF THE STORY.. OUR COMPANY TRIED TO SAVE A COUPLE DOLLARS BY SWITCHING FROM ROOSTER APP TO WorkJam AND WorkJam HAS CAUSED NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS FOR EVERYONE.. NOW I HAVE NO JOB!!

So annoying every time the session expires , it boots me off and my login info never works? Time and time I’ll enter the correct login and it still says either user or password is invalid, please get it together and fix this issue it’s extremely annoying

The work week, of the company I work for, begins on Saturday. But, today Jan 28, 2020, I noticed that this app’s work week was changed to begin on Monday’s apparently since December 30, 2019. Now we have to go back and check our pay checks to make sure we are not due any back pay. What a major flaw!

I just downloaded WorkJam for my new job and while trying to set up an account, it does not give me that option. Keeps assuming I’m already an account holder. Which makes no sense. Plus my boss says it deletes shifts all the time so always double check the paper schedule. I don’t recommend WorkJam.

It will work fine for periods of time and then all of a sudden I’ll go to check my schedule and it won’t work at all. I’ll have to delete WorkJam and re install it to get it to work.

I was always able to contact my coworkers but now the feature for that is removed? That’s one of the most important features on WorkJam ! Being able to swiftly message and communicate with all of the workers at a facility is important.

I’ve had WorkJam for quite some time and have always had the ability to message my managers and coworkers, and now the function has disappeared? It’s annoying because there’s over 50 of us and I need to be able to contact my coworkers. That was the dumbest thing you could possibly get rid of.

Was a solid app until they took away the private messaging function with the latest update. Was the best feature but now causes a hassle to retrieve coworkers numbers now.

My session expired and every time I try to log in the page times out. Very frustrating because when WorkJam works it’s actually very nice.

It works just fine but god I get notifications at least every 20 minutes, it drives me crazy!! I’ll have hundreds by the end of the day. I keep them on so I know when my schedules updates but some days it’s too much and I just have to turn it off.

I thought WorkJam was great until recently we lost the ability to private message other users. What is up with that???

Easy to use. It’s nice to hear updates straight from people in leadership roles. The communication is organized. Training is easy and quick.

With covid impacting work. WorkJam is a complete lifeline for our staff. Can’t see how anyone runs a business without this app. We threw out 6 systems with 1 great one.

Allows direct communication to employees at retail sites with lots of great features, including surveys, channels for specific topic content, incentives, training, messaging, and shift scheduling, all with a great social media aspect as well!
