Black Enterprise Magazine Reviews

Since the Old Man resigned form an active role, the publication went from every month to every quarter. I miss the monthly publications, especially the articles that inspired me and my friends to work our way out of the street’s of watts to getting a piece of the pie. It seems that today’s publication is more on the agenda of just women agendas than uplifting the entire community as a whole. What happened to the ALPHA MALES that we can look up to that scandal free? I truly miss the old BLack Enterprise publication’s.

Not worth having a subscription if BlackEnterpriseMagazine doesn't provide you with updates regularly. Most monthly magazines provide their updates for the next month by the end of the current month. This isn't even close. It is currently February and I haven't had an update since November!

I like the mag and want to support it but the releases are always late . It's august .... no august issue

It’s May and I’m still seeing the Jan/February issue. That’s unnaceptable!

The company should rethink of their name for people won't come across it as a bias magazine. It seems like a really informative magazine but the name makes it seem like, 'don't pick this magazine up unless you're black' type of vibe. Which in the 21st century we are trying to demolish all types of tones from these type of vibes. Yes there are cultural restaurants with names like Chinese food, Mexican food, Soul food, Armenian food but that's how you identify food. I don't think you should identify a magazine or a company the same way you identify your food because then you're promoting segregation when the rest of the world is trying to support unity. Change the Status Quo. One Love.

This magazine is so hard to find these days anywhere so thank you so much for having this is just what I needed!...As for people saying this is racist it's okay for African Americans to be elevated and inspired by our own people that did what they had to do to get where they wanted TI get...Were portrayed in a negative manner 9/10 so how can something positive be racist?When do we ever hear about black entrepreneurs on a daily basis?We don't so this is very uplifting not racist the end....

This is likely a ghost developer based in some other country using a New York address and fax number. Not only did they make a gross error loading and tagging the May and June issues, they did not even notice their error. Once told, a week later and they have not fixed the error, but they were paid. Even though u purchase via iTunes, you have to register with this third party vendor before they attempt to resolve. So you are not dealing with Black Enterprise but some random unprofessional vendor called magzter. Since quality of service is reflective of BE, they should manage, but they did not even know a problem existed!

Do Not Use BlackEnterpriseMagazine!

I gave BlackEnterpriseMagazine 5 stars based on the content of black enterprise. They've always had great articles and content. BlackEnterpriseMagazine however leaves much to be desired. There's a 2-3 second load after turning a page. It's rather distracting and takes away from enjoying the magazine IMO. Hopefully this gets fixed in an upcoming version. I'm viewing from the iPad 3.

Black Enterprise Magazine has been very helpful in providing me valuable information in many facets of my life such as personal finance and wealth building. Since moving to Seoul, South Korea a little over a year ago I have been unable to purchase the magazine and BlackEnterpriseMagazine is just what I needed to stay current.

Umm I haven't even used BlackEnterpriseMagazine yet but I've read the magazine before....not sure how it's racist though. It's funny how there are tons and tons of tv shows, magazines, newspapers, etc that feature nothing but white people and they think THIS is racist....

I bought BlackEnterpriseMagazine and it was working good. Suddenly it stopped working and when I inquired why I was told I needed to get an ID for it to work. Personally I do not want another ID and did not have to have one to purchase an annual subscription. I don't have to have one for my other newsstand subscriptions. I requested a refund and was told no and to go register for an ID. Fortunately iTunes has better customer service and did refund, If you dont want another ID that you have to keep up forgo BlackEnterpriseMagazine. Customer service is the pits.

Regardless of the title, anyone who is trying to educate themselves on being a small business owner can benefits from what the magazine has to offer. I've been an online subscriber for years to BE, this is nothing new people!!!

For those folks who are interested in purchasing the BE App disregard the deconstructive views of those calling BlackEnterpriseMagazine racist. Before there was inclusion & diversity in print media, "I say that cynically" there was BE providing a perspective on a lost cohort people in print media, Minority Business Men and Women. Excellent magazine!

I love Black Enterprise! But I hate BlackEnterpriseMagazine! The service provider Magzter is absolutely horrible. Every month I have to send multiple emails just to get the current months subscription. It usually takes me two weeks into each month to get it. By comparison my other financial magazines are delivered a week prior to the previous month's ending. So I end up having my Money Magazine 3 weeks before getting this one. Thats unacceptable and I will not renew.

Great app...funny how African americans finally have a magazine about how to be successful and other races think its racist! Regardless of what the title is if there's a majority of black people in it people automatically assume its for black people...so who's really racist???

Which is kind of weird, you open BlackEnterpriseMagazine but you still need another magazine issue to give you advice on entrepreneurship, technology etc etc, which seems to be a little redudant to have app in the first place, why not skip this step and straight to the gold?

I love this magazine app. I do not work for this company so comments made are legit. I only wish some of the reference links in the articles are active so you can click to that website directly. I promise readers will return back to the article for more informative info. Try a couple articles and see how well it works. Keep up the great work Black Enterprise!
