It’s stupid how you have to be a student. Like why? This should be for everyone who wants to stay off their phone and earn points for doing it. I’m in high school and it would be perfect for me. And I’m in the US so there is no option anyway.. It would be a lot better if it was for people in US

Every single time I use Hold when I’m studying, it crashes and doesn’t give me any points for the HOURS of studying that I do. It’s so frustrating and I end up worrying more about making sure it’s working than giving my full attention to studying like it’s meant for.

Please add the US and other countries to your list of countries! It would greatly benefit us all if you spread out and add more countries. When you do add the US, make sure to include not only Colleges but high schools as well

Amazing idea, can help reduce time of people using phones. Needs to be implemented for the US. I can study for several hours a day, being rewarded for that would be great.

It was advertised that this not only dealt with college students but grade school also. It would also help if it was available in the U.S.

I really liked the idea of Hold , but it definitely needs more work. And please make it available in other countries not only in Norway, Sweden & UK

Love the concept! Downloaded this and not even a student but distracted way too often and pick up my phone - trying to break the habit. Would love if the points were redeemable in my location (U.S.) not to mention other countries as well,

I (and im pretty sure I speak for every reviewer here) would really appreciate it if you guys added US schools because like all others you would get at least a million more users if you added US high schools and US universities and if you would we would all really appreciate it. I live in Puerto Rico and there is no way to redeem the points earned. I like the concept that reward you for staying productive. I would like it to work in Puerto Rico and the United States.

i absolutely love the concept and as a high school student would use this all the time, but it’s not made for the US yet. such a bummer!

I love the idea and everything in Hold works really well. The only thing that I would like is there to be a USA location. Personally I am not a student, but I’m using Hold . Since there is only a UK location, I have to pick prizes using uk money. Besides that, I love it! Please make a update adding the USA please!

I love using Hold because it helps me focus and study much easier, and the idea that you can earn rewards is fantastic! However, I live in the US, and even though Hold is fine the way it is, I sincerely wish Hold had a US option because more people would be motivated to try it. Other than that, it’s amazing.

Honestly Hold is amazing! It helped a lot throughout my sixth form exams and kept me motivated but the recent update of not having the options for time limits is kind of not working for me.
eg. If I want to have a 1hr study session then there isn’t any option for it. It’s really in a continuous form now. Hence I have to use the timer along with Hold, which really hinders it’s actual purpose.

I hope you guys revert the update soon or make more amends.

From what the news, SC, and other media platforms have said is this is a very rewarding app, with simple rules. Don’t be on your phone when it’s time to do work, school, driving!!
We will see!!

I say this on Mashable on Snapchat and I was so happy to know this exists but the. It said it is not available for US students and I was upset plz this app contact the US government they will fund you well because they know they have a problem with teens always being on their phone. I really hope this comes out in US

It’s not fully available to me because I’m in the US, but I still use it. I’m not a student so I guess even if they made it fully available here it still wouldn’t be that helpful for me. Works completely fine for work though. My desk job gets pretty boring and I end up going on my phone a lot, but I used it today, made 80 points in one go! And was a TON more productive. Thank you very much for this amazing idea!

My phone crashed Hold when I was just about to get 100pts (not even the apps fault, possibly just my phone or general weirdness- that’s the only tech issue i’ve had otherwise its PERFECT) —- but I emailed staff and told them that it stressed me out and they send me the NICEST email and made up the points I can’t believe they actually care?! 10/10 I swear i’m addicted to not touching my phone because i’m so competitive with my school scoreboard lol
