This USED TO BE a great app. Now , even with purchasing the “upgrade’ dictionary, it accepts words that ARE NOT in the scrabble dictionary. It also no longer knows the end of game, as well as suggesting words and overriding what you type when checking a word. I had a developer response on my 1st comment on the update, but now it seems WORSE. I wish I could get a refund, and now will have to find a new scrabble scoring app.

Says “no new letters added,” so obviously doesn’t recognize our Deluxe Scrabble Edition with dark red pieces for the camera option. What’s worse is when trying to enter letters manually the screen just jumps around under my finger, rather than opening the keyboard for entry. Was able to score 2 plays but don’t want to have to tap the screen a dozen times to get ScorableApp to respond. I’m using iPhone 12 Max and have no issues like this with any other app.

As other reviews have suggested, the keyboard input is extremely buggy, sometimes I have to close out of the input screen 6+ times to get the keyboard to appear. This really detracts from the experience and makes ScorableApp very frustrating to use. This is a breaking issue and should be addressed, especially given the fact that updates are being pushed on a regular basis.

ScorableApp makes playing scrabble much quicker, especially with the timer functionality. However, it seems to have some bugs we’ve noticed when getting close to the end of the game. Also, the user interface has some difficulties with entering blanks.

ScorableApp is fantastic. It keeps score by taking a picture and makes it really easy. Out of nowhere, the empty rack detection stopped working and thinks the other player emptied their rack. No idea how that happens or how to fix it. Support email gets rejected. I hope the developer reads these comments.

I think this is the best game because you can keep score of scrabble games. But I also think that it should have 1,2,3,4 all for free but on Scorabble you can only do 1 or 2 players because the 3 and 4 players you have to pay for.

By far best scrabble app out there.

Developers, there is an annoying bug where you can’t use the keyboard! iPhone 12 Pro IOS 15

Despite undoing and trying to take a picture it kept ignoring a blank tile at the end of a word. I tried to edit it in manually but clicking the “blank” button doesn’t seem to do anything. When we put another word cross the blank and took a picture it worked but gave the points to the wrong person.

Otherwise good app and is making scoring easier!

Love ScorableApp , we play all the time and scoring on ScorableApp makes everything a breeze.

One major flaw: if you accidentally tap the “end game” button, there’s no going back. There should be a pop up to confirm that you’re actually ending the game. We’ve had to stop and re-score almost entire games because of this.

The last update was plagued by bugs that effected basic play. My big thing, the keyboard is fixed. Looking forward to using ScorableApp again instead of giving friends a five minute explanation of how to handle the bugs and “how good it used to be.”

ScorableApp is easy to use. My only issue was that it didn’t pick up all my brown wood tiles with black letters on my scrabble deluxe board. I still was able to easily type the words in when the camera failed. I’m still rating 5 stars for the outstanding effort and I’m sure this will be fixed. I was using an. iPhone 10.

ScorableApp has a great UI and although there are a few flaws, it makes score keeping much quicker. Plus as others have noted, you can airplay the screen to your TV so other players can get a better view of the board.

I’ve heard other downsides, but the only change I would personally make is the ability to delete or resume a game that was accidentally ended. Especially if you want the statistics portion of ScorableApp to be accurate.

ScorableApp is excellent. Makes playing more enjoyable & I love that it keeps up with the scores and tells you when a word is not accepted. I purchased the $2.99 version to have access to a dictionary. Highly recommend ScorableApp to anyone who plays scrabble.

ScorableApp makes playing scrabble with your family a breeze. Keeps scores, built in timer, built in dictionary, and you can just punch the letters in the virtual board without having to add the doubles and triples manually. Or just take a picture!

Everything Scrabble you could ever want, all in one place! Wonderful! I don’t even remember how much this cost. Whatever I paid, this is worth it! I can’t think of a better return I’ve gotten from a paid app.

It’s really convenient. Wish I started using it sooner. Sometimes you have to take the picture two or three times but still worth it.

If you're thinking, "Hey, I wonder if someone has thought of a companion app for keeping score in Scrabble," look no further. This one FIGURES THE SCORE AUTOMATICALLY. All you really need to do is take a snapshot of the board after each play. Yes, it costs money to play with 3 or 4 players, but ScorableApp takes all the annoying math out of our beloved word game. 💯

I can’t believe how easy it was to keep score. It was so smart it knew when the game should have been over based on actual pieces. It knew when too many letters were used when you forget to mark blank tiles correctly. I would give ScorableApp a 10, well worth the 2.99.

App works great, photographing the board to score works like magic. Feature request: a leaderboard with how many games each player won would be killer. Please add.

I was very impressed with the UI, gameplay, and accuracy. Definitely happy I downloaded ScorableApp to use and score our games.
