Game started out fun but as you continue to play you will find it nearly impossible to make any real progression in the game unless you want to spend money out your own pocket. I usually don't mind paying for in-app purchases but usually with other games its optional not mandatory just to complete regular missions/tasks. For example I am expected to spend 200 cash (the currency in the game) just to buy Woodstock's nest to retrieve the character Woodstock. You need Woodstock to do actions in order to obtain items that so far only he can give me and I'm on level 10. I keep running out of coins to purchase other characters, expand, buy buildings, etc things that are required to complete in order to complete tasks to earn coins and experience pts to level up. I hate I even bothered with playing this greedy game. The developers are just out for money. At least allow players to enjoy the game enough before you start making it pretty much mandatory to spend money in order to just do simple tasks within the game. I rate this one negative five stars.

This game should come with a warning to back it up daily so you can restore it when it crashes (which is frequently). It has some major flaws. First, once you've built the town and acquired all the characters, it is boring. There are not enough scenarios to keep it interesting. Second, it is incredibly hard to obtain enough beagle bucks (dollar bills) to purchase the items needed to accomplish scenarios, unless you pay real money to buy them. To add insult to injury, the action boxes are set up in such a way that it is far too easy to spend those hard-gained dollars accidentally. Many users have asked the game developers to add in a confirmation for such actions, and the developers have said they are working on it, but that has not been provided despite numerous updates since I've been playing the game (about 9 months now). UPDATE: I tried this game again after a long hiatus. After a week, the game would not open after showing the Pixowl logo and would bump me back to my home screen. I couldn’t play the game, and after 3 days of trying to get help from customer support, I was told that if I had a backup of the game they *might* be able to restore it fairly close to the level of achievements I had attained; if not, I would have to delete the game and reinstall it, back at the beginning! I love the concept and the graphics, but this game is a huge disappointment and I cannot recommend this game to anyone—and I’m a major Snoopy fan.

This was a very good idea for an app, but Pixowl did a terrible job developing the game. For starters, when you get into the game, there are quests like “buy Belle’s house” or “get Freida’s house”. This is impossible unless you spend real money to get dollar bills or spend a lifetime saving up enough bills to buy it! Another problem concerning the bills is the way Pixowl set up Peanuts . They make it incredibly easy to spend your hard earned bills on skipping ads!

Update: Oh, ads, where do I start! Ever since I updated the game a week ago, ads have choked this game! There’s an ad in between actions, even an ad after you purchase something! I mean, I know this is a free game, but I would gladly pay a couple bucks on Snoopy’s town. Heck, I’ve spent almost $20 on bills already!!

Update: ARE YOU KIDDING ME. The developers realeased a new update a week ago, and now my game won’t start! I click on the icon and for a millisecond it shows a notice saying “ sorry, Woodstock can’t reach the internet right now.” MY INTERNET WORKS FINE. I’m deleting this scam trying to cheat you out of your money

Don't let your children play Peanuts it will only steal their money or yours as it may be!!!!!! I started playing Peanuts 2 years ago. It's very similar to Farmville, you can earn what they call Snoopy dollars to purchase some of the characters, etc, they are very hard to earn. I had over $2000 Snoopy dollars up until the most recent app update all of a sudden the dollars started disappearing every time i returned to Peanuts . I contacted support but all they did was blame it on player error. I haven't made a purchase in well over a year on Peanuts because it's really hard to earn the Snoopy dollars unless you want to spend actual money which means your hard earned money would be stolen!!!!

So they contact me again still blaming me for not having the confirmation on which I did and only selecting something once which I haven’t done in well over a year. Again refusing to except responsibility for the glitch in their app that is stealing the dollars so I’ve deleted Peanuts , I’m done I don’t recommend this for anybody regardless of how you feel about snoopy and the peanut gang!!!

I have been played the game for 5 years, before I thought about making a review for the game. The concept for the game is great. If you love the The Snoopy‘s Movie you would love this game. Anything you need or want in this game we get ready to pay for it with real money. The game currency (coins and Snoopy bucks) can be earned by watching commercials and visiting other neighbors. The amount of snoopy bucks you need is outrageous the higher you go in the game. You’ll have to buy any new character packs with real money. For each character they have a cards that corresponds with a specific action to get a reward. The player will have to collect all 10 of these cards before you can do the action. Special events occur once every month and last for the whole month. The event currency you earned during the special events is not something you take with you. Spending $30-$40 US dollars per month on one game was more than I afford and is the reason I give a star. The game stopped being fun and started it is to be work, when they format change to be just like all the other games that are owned by Pixowl/Animca brands Games.

this game is horrible. i’ve had it for years and i decided to start playing it again. i bought a house and i waited 1 day for it to build, which was fine with me. after it was built i wanted to change where it was placed, so i clicked on it and pressed the move button. after i moved it i tried to press the check mark, but it wouldn’t let me. i sat there retrying and trying again, but the only button that worked was the X button! the buttons on this game do not even work. also i’m on the same ID as i once was and it doesn’t save your progress! what app doesn’t save ur gameplay progress? not to mention the horrible glitches in the game, and the impossible charges! it’s so hard to get the money you need to buy anything! i cant move up a level because i don’t have the bills, but they’re so hard to get and the only way u can possibly get enough is to purchase them with itunes or a credit card. the whole game idea in general is good and seems fun, but the way it was put together is not so fun. i probably wouldn’t recommend this game, but don’t judge by me, download it and see for yourself if you like it!

I wanted to love this game so badly but the devs make that impossible. First, their sorry excuse for a confirmation to spend bills is ridiculous. It’s hidden and even when activated it deactivates the first time you do spend them. They owe me at least 500 bills because of accidental spending. And speaking of bills...you need a lot of them to get anywhere. They have characters that cost 300 bills each! And they also require a huge amount to finish other quests. 250 bills for the Eiffel Tower? Come on now. Sure, you can watch ads to get bills...but the problem is, you don’t always get compensated for those ads and it will take months to get all you need for one quest. Then there is the loading problem. You cannot move from one part of the town to the next without having to wait at least a minute for that section to load. It’s completely frustrating. Then comes the content problem. Where is it? You play the same scenarios over and over and over. I haven’t had a new quest in I don’t know how long. I’m so tired of just sending Charlie Brown to school. Charles Schultz would be extremely disappointed in this game.

Halloween event is a joke! First off no decorations unless u spend money or ONE u can earn, but it’s difficult! Seriously… what a stingy game! Only ONE decoration? My storage is always full, why can’t we sell something or delete an item in our storage. I refresh my sell board but that’s not a big help. This has made it difficult to do the Halloween event now. No I’m not spending money to increase storage and I’m not spending money for a Halloween decorations. I sure hope Thanksgiving and Christmas isn’t like this. If so, you WILL loose players! I’ve been playing tablet apps when there were no games but search n find, etc. AND being on FB in game groups, people complain about this more then anything! Games offering nice items but we gotta spend money, therefore many of us drop the games because of this. Why support a game where the developers r real greedy. Game developers can be more generous, which would show how much u appreciate your players, especially the ones who do spend real money!
I’ll change my rating to higher stars if I see a better holiday then this one. U have a chance to make things easier and offer more decorations we can earn. Thanksgiving and Christmas is around the corner. If not when Christmas event comes and I see it like this Halloween event I will immediately delete this game.

Update: I’ve been reading all reviews and I’m glad to see I’m not only one Whois having problems!! I’m still waiting on the items I’ve lost because of glitches this game owes me camp patches the fort bc by the time you answer I will have lost my chance to get it! Game owes me Harriet special,Raymond,the little pigtailed girl and now you owe me dinosaur bones 3 at this time bc the scenes boot out! As much money you guys make off of us I know y’all can afford to compensate those of us who’ve lost out on game! Be lucky I’m not adding Molly on here bc that’s when the game scenes started booting me out!!! I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on this game for years but I quit playing bc it kept messing up deleting items I’ve purchased! I love this game however every time I do the mountain scene it boots the players out and I lose the camp patch and deletes my purchases! I’ve purchased twice and each time it happens I’ve tried the mountain scene 5 times and each time my characters are booted out!! Once again I lose the scene prize like the tennis scene!! This is the reason I quit the first time! I’ve asked for them to return my purchases but they haven’t shown up yet! And since u don’t get the option to get certain items or characters in marketplace u have to buy them if u want to win the scenes.

I enjoy the game a lot but I too have issues with the glitches and cannot log into the game at times missing my missions that I was working so hard for. Everything is timed and makes you spend lots of time on the game which is fine but not okay when you get kicked out. Their response is good at getting back with me but that’s it, nothing more. I try my best to earn the dollars working at the game. The Christmas event is going on and now they set it up where you Have to spend real money in order to get the character Rerun and to be able to play the scene. I realized that days after working so hard to get the work done. Not cool! I have spent real money in the past on this game and I’m beginning to be very unhappy now. Love the characters and missions even though it’s timed. However, I may be walking away soon if I have to spend real money in order to get a character.

UPDATE: It has been 3 yrs of playing and spending money to get the characters. I enjoyed the game because it helped with my memory. It was getting to the point of every 10-15 mins that I had to play to get anywhere in the game, especially when they made the new bumper car scene. I’m exhausted and will be deleting the game. If you want to pass by idle time, great and if not, not worth it.

I don’t usually write reviews but this game has become more and more frustrating. I love the Snoopy characters and I love world-building games so this seemed like the perfect game for me. The more I played the more I realized it’s a giant cash grab. The only way to progress in any sort of acceptable time frame is to pay to advance. I justified the micro-purchases because there are worse vices to have and I was still enjoying playing.. until the last update. I was so excited for the Halloween update to build Halloween scapes within the town. However every time I log in, every single fence, every single hedge, every Jack o lantern, every small item was moved out of position and had to be reset. Eventually this became too frustrating to continue fixing my town every time I logged in and I have since abandoned the game. If you have the patience to continually fix the same displacements in your town and the patience to slowly grind this game before getting to build your town, then you may really like this game. I did for awhile.

I have been a Snoopy fan since I was a baby. So when I heard about this game I couldn’t wait for it to download. Now after a few days I’m over it. Quests take forever to complete. And this is supposed to be for ages 4+!? My 5 year old loves games but can’t figure out all these quests. Tying up 2 characters for 10 hours at a time is ridiculous. And too many items are needed from the same couple of characters. I refuse to spend actual money, but it’s hard to complete tasks in the time frame the game gives. And Schroeder’s skills aren’t even useful 90% of the time. The Halloween special seems like a great idea but the special tasks are almost impossible to achieve. You need to do so many special things just to create the next item. It just seems like a lot to expect from a game geared towards kids. Like I said, my son was excited but he won’t even play it now. Too complicated and too time consuming for what should be simple tasks. A child doesn’t want to wait 5-10 hours for Charlie Brown or Sally to be finished so you can get 1 item.

The higher you go in levels, the more impossible it is to fulfill tasks. Meaning, like all games now, you have to pour money into it. My daughter is stuck because the characters that are needed and left, are the characters that need to be obtained by paying for them... snoopy money. The only way to have enough of the snoopy money is purchasing it. The gift boxes left throughout the game will on occasion give you $1. It takes an awful long time to obtain snoopy money this way. It was fun to get to this point but so very disappointing that it's expected to "pay" to advance. The other major issue, the game freezes and then shuts down. They are aware of the problem but have done nothing to fix this bug. Maximizing the screen does not stop the issue like they have suggested.

I have sent an email to the developer. The social button is missing, Schroeder is missing, freezes continuously, Valentine's Day quest for snoopy is stuck - cannot complete and large amounts of snoopy money is needed in order to progress.

Update: Today, I updated to iOS 11.0.2 and now I’m stuck on the rewards page and can’t seem to get pass it. Now I can’t even play the game. 😩

This snoopy game is quite cute. Initially it was hard getting the snoopy dollars, but I figured out that I could watch ads for snoopy dollars. (For those of you who wants to earn the snoopy dollars by watching ads and doesn't know where it is, just click the + sign where the dollar is on the top right of your screen and it should be the first box on the left. You can earn 5 snoopy dollars every hour by watching 5 30 second ads) So far I have watched a lot of ads just to get the characters and have spent $5 on a pack that was at a discount.

The cons to this game is that it crashes and glitches a lot. It literally crashes after every few minutes. Today it glitches/lagged so bad that I almost accidentally bought some snoopy dollars by accident while watching ads. This would be a better game if it was more stable. It can get quite frustrating with all the lag and crashes so hopefully they will fix this issue soon.

I have been playing the game a long time and do have money invested in it. I admit I will pay the $4.99 to move forward in a event if I like the theme and decorations. I rarely spend money on other extras. I am nearing level 80 and have 348 dollars at the moment - saving up for that zip line goal. Make sure you watch for orders to get the globes you need as well as helping to keep inventory under control. I love that you can sometimes use existing decorations to get items for current events too.
The main reason I am reviewing is because I recently got a new iPad. You can imagine my disappointment when everything worked except my Snoopy town! Well, it took a couple days of emails (my fault for not checking my email), but the support team got back everything in my game! Excellent customer support and they were very helpful and patient! Thanks for your help!

I spend 30 to 40 dollars on each event. Yes, it’s expensive! In the past I would never have paid so much to play a game. However, I really enjoy playing this game. I have an issue that has been continuous. I try to collect the Snoopy dollars that can be earned to expand my acreage, but every time I accumulate a decent amount they disappear. I haven’t used any. Not on purpose anyway! Where did they go?!!!! It makes me angry! This has happened numerous times! There needs to be a second prompt to ask if you are sure that you want to spend your Snoopy Dollars. I wish I could look back somehow and see how they were spent or where they went. This is an issue that needs to be resolved. Reading reviews I realized I’m not the only one this has happened to. This needs to be fixed! The amount to open a new area is outrageous as it is! Then, the Snoopy dollars just disappear! I also keep reading where the developers keep saying this is a free app. It is, unless you want the new characters and want to finish the challenges.

This is a very cute game... I rated it four stars because I love the this app Gang, however It’s very frustrating how long the tasks take to complete for the Christmas event ... almost 4 hours to make the santas hat almost 8 hours to make the sleigh plus u have to have the characters that play the hockey scene to make the post card thats more time????? It’s like come on?!!!! I get games are suppose to be challenging but also we have our “real” lives like a thing called “WORK” or “SCHOOL” then the game tell you c’mon kid you need to hurry because your time is almost running out???? Seriously???? Maybe this game should have started in the beginning of December instead of in the middle so it’s fair to be able to complete !!! Just a little frustrating!!!! Hope you hear me out i’m sure i’m not the only player that feels this way.... Happy Holidays!!!!

I love Snoopy town. I couldn’t play it at the beginning because I didn’t have a advice that worked with Snoopy town. When I finally got a device to play on I missed out on a lot of the fun stuff at the beginning and the characters I no longer can get. I’ve been a fan of snoopy, since I was a very young child. This game brings me back to my childhood. I love the challenges and the Little challenges as well. I’m very competitive with myself. Every so often there glitches in the game but they seem to get fixed pretty quickly. I’m not enjoying the monopoly to get the dollars because they seem to last longer than they’re supposed to so many things that we have to click on that they pause and Don’t continue until you click three or four different things. All and all it’s pretty fun game and I enjoy it very much. Thank you and keep up the good work. PS if there’s anyway to get the characters from the beginning, I’d be so excited.

My girls and I have been building this town for two years now and look forward to each new season. Anytime I have an issue, customer service is fantastic getting back to me right away. And I like that if you connect it to Facebook it saves your progress even if you have to reload the game to your app. There’s one item that I earned two years ago, the gingerbread tower, that has blanked out on me and says I have to get to a higher level to get it, but other than that everything works great, just got Dracula’s castle and it looks awesome the the ghost and leafless tress around it. I’ve got almost all the land open, but it’s slow going trying to earn the dollars for the $750 and two $1,000 areas. Since I’ve been playing for a long time I have lots and lots of coins. Would love to go back to the days where the land was worth coins so I could finish getting all the land!

I downloaded Peanuts over a year ago. Initially it was fun and great to play. However, to advance levels, obtain this app character cards, and obtain different items in the game’s market costs a lot of money. It’s all about money now! It’s so sad. Peanuts could be a really great app, but no one wants to play an app where they have to spend money constantly, or watch ads all the time to advance in the game. It feels like I will never get past level 37. All the items in the market, the characters and their houses, none of it seems attainable at how much they cost. And unfortunately the blue inventory backpack fills up very quickly, so items have to be obtained, which costs money, to finally get the characters to play out scenes in locations, in order to win the item required to get more space in the inventory backpack.

The only thing I really like that makes me want to open Peanuts is the A Dog’s Coffee House theme that’s going on right now. I do love it! It’s cute and fun to play. I wish there were an option where we could select one of the seasonal themes to apply to the setting of the game’s appearance because I would select the Dog Coffee House theme all year round. Unfortunately the items of this theme, such as the barista and waiter/waitress seasonal character cards are all very expensive.
