If you want to be able to back up your iPhone securely and on a regular basis, there are better ways to do this.

For those with only iDevices and no home computer, you can upgrade your iCloud storage. While it's up-front, it's much cheaper after YesBackup's trial period is over, and it's built into iOS.

For those of you with computers, just use the iCloud control panel to automatically download your pictures to the computer and use iTunes to make complete device backups, either via USB or wifi.

There are also other cloud options, like Dropbox, Google, Box, and OneDrive among the others out there that are either reputable companies or newer companies that happen to be leaders in their respective fields.

Like I said, this is bad. Their adversite has poor grammar scattered throughout it. YesBackup itself is clunky and doesn't work well. It's not a very fast backup solution. I'd give it negative stars if I could.

1 star only to give rating. YesBackup seemed to work but required a great deal work; i.e. It is a high maintenance app. When I tried to cancel the count there were no answers to my phone call attempts attempted over several days. Finally just wrote emails at every address I could find. They seem to be going out of the customer service business and are sucking the last few dollars/pounds out of unsuspecting clients. Stay away. They are harder to get rid of than a tic.

So many clues that this is a scam. For me my first clue was the ad in CNN that looks like a news story. One thing in particular about that ad was the claim that other big companies use similar marketing campaigns and this example was given: For instance, Burger King launched a similar campaign in 2013, giving away 20,000 free Big Macs on Facebook.
How about that? I wonder if McDonalds will give away Whoppers?
Later in YesBackup Store write up it clearly uses the word "trial" so you gotta know big fees are coming.

I'm so very upset with this company. They are continuing to charge my credit card and I do not use their service. $8.95 each time, charged twice already even after properly canceling and contacting them five times via email. A scam in my opinion. Hopefully this will be resolved. Thy sent me response each time saying that it had been taken care of BUT after 8 months I'm still having to deal with it. Please be forewarned. 😡

They say it only cost $1 but as soon as your month is up they will charge you $8.95 without warning. Save your money and don't bother with this garbage.
I tried canceling this and 6 months later they tried charging me again even after having an email from them confirming that my account would be deleted. It is a total scam!

I'm searching this kind of app from a long time ago. It is the best app I have ever used. Now I can secure my all song video pdf etc. it's simply awesome. So I should recommended to everyone to use YesBackup for a while. Thanks.

Listen. Read. Hear. Understand. I bought YesBackup, cancelled after the free trial and six months later started getting charged every month $8.95. Complained. Fraud alerted the credit card. Finally had to cancel the card. Noticed they tried again even after that!!!! I don't understand why Apple hasn't taken it out of YesBackup Store. DO NOT BUY YesBackup.

this app ran an ad on the news and said now to upgrade your iPhone until you spend $1 with them, stating with Apple you could lose everything. That is the scam! Nowhere could I find they charge $8.95 a month. Apple has iCloud that charges 99 cents per month and I have never lost anything. So who is being deceptive?

Locks up when trying to backup the folder "my pictures".. Will only work if I individually select each photo. Have over 3500.. Haven't even been able to try video backup. Horrible app even for $1. I feel REALLY sorry for anyone that paid more than that for this garbage.

You will get charge after charge, I was charged $8.95 on 1/12,1/28, & 2/26. When I tried to get a hold of someone to cancel there isn't a phone number or a cancel option on the site. You have to send an e-mail and sit and wait for them to reply. Scary thing!

Had a bug backing up my videos but contacted their support and really helpful. Does what is says. Five star protection!

So glad I used yes back up I lost all my photos on an update and was easily able to restore

Was to be $1 but then they started charging $8.95/month without even sending a bill or email stating this. Total scam. They never send email about monthly charge. Needs to be removed from App Store to prevent others from getting duped by this.

Horrible don't waist your time... Its $1 to purchase YesBackup then they charge $8.95 the next month and if you don't pay attention to you bank statements they take out $118 SCAMMERS!!! They also posted an advertisement like if it were an important article on the news!!!

Your unethical ad is such a joke that I came here and downloaded YesBackup just to give you 1 star. You lose. Good day sir.

Wouldn't back up my phone as promised, now telling me I'm out of space & will have to upgrade to back up more files. Don't waste your money.

STAY AWAY! This company is awful! I can't believe Apple let them in YesBackup Store. Cancel your subscription before they clean out your bank account.

Why is this scamware is available in App Store? They have absolutely misleading advertising that is preying on non tech savvy users.

I didn't sign up for this amount of money. Please refund my hard earned money back.
