Loved this option - saw that it was available for my Miami to Lisbon flight on TAP. Easy to use after I checking for my flight - I needed some real sleep so went for the lie flat first class and was stoked to win for much less than I thought. My buddy didn’t go for the first class option but he was able to get a good price on a premium economy - will def look out for this on all long ones.

I used SeatBoost on my recent flight from Lisbon to Newark. It was so fun and easy to use! The instructions were great and really clear, and I loved the graphics. Even better, I won! My lie-flat seat with comfy pillow and huge blanket, delicious food and wine, and giant TV screen made for a very enjoyable 8 hour flight! If SeatBoost is available on your flight, I 100% recommend!

Was a really great opportunity to upgrade for a fantastic deal! Sadly we did not win but the process was easy and fun!! They had very nice reps at the gate explaining the process which was really helpful. I would definitely do this again especially since it’s so discounted !!

Was able to get an upgrade on my flight to Portugal at a sweet deal. Who doesn’t like a deal and get to tout their victory on the leader board? I only hope they continue to roll it out across other routes as well.

We were told by the airline staff that there was plenty of seating in executive, but when it came down to bidding, the “place bid” button didn’t work. As a result, we were too late to upgrade at the check in counter and couldn’t upgrade. Terrible experience and wish we would have booked directly.

So excited to have gotten the upgrade! App works wonderfully and is a brilliant idea. Can’t wait to this app more often!

I used this before covid to upgrade my seat on a flight back to LA from Lisbon. I felt like I was playing a game and won the lottery!!!!

SeatBoost is not for all airlines to bid in upgrades. I found it only works for TAP Portugal. Am deleting it.

Easy to get a cheap upgrade. SeatBoost itself could use significant work. Lots of glitches and bugs. Great first attempt. Hire a better developer or more of them. Seems like an intern made it. Also add the ability to switch cards when you're bidding/change card within SeatBoost . App Onboarding process needs to not jump immediately into a live bid either. I would recommend show a fake bid process, then have another button that says "Ready for the real thing?" And then show the real biding panel.

Virgin America is my favorite airline and the fact that they're associated with such an innovative app confirms that it's the future of flying. I don't know how many times I've tried to upgrade with other airlines - negotiated miles and cash - only to not be upgraded and never even be informed that I'm still stuck in coach. The this app app makes upgrading straightforward, transparent, in your control, and even kind of fun. Good idea!

I've used this app about six times and it's super easy to use. I always get main cabin select and get extra leg room, a drink and snacks and a free movie for just 29 bucks. What a deal! Easy to set up and we never get separated. Not sure why other reviewers are having a hard time. It it's always been a breeze for me and my traveling companion.

We had so much fun using SeatBoost and loved getting upgraded. Just make sure to check the available routes on the website since only some routes are available for now. We will definitely be using again - winning the auction made us feeling like VIPs and really enhanced our flying experience!

Bravo this app, you've made flying fun again. After years of being strong armed by airline carriers to pay premiums on upgrades, this app reminds us that even us Coach class citizens can fly in style (and at a discount!). I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. My only ask is that you make this available in more Airports! #this app #FTW

Super fun app where you get to bid on last-minute seat upgrades via a live auction. I won a business class upgrade for my SFO Virgin flight on the cheap. Just wished every airline and route I took had this enabled (looks like there are only a few routes available at the moment).

The reps at my gate were so helpful in setting me up to enter an auction for an upgraded seat on my Virgin America flight. I ended up winning and got a first class upgrade for $69!! Definitely recommend you check this out.

this app is wonderful, especially for those last minute flights where first class is unavailable at the time of booking. I definitely use in the future!

It is about time someone comes up with a fun and entertaining way to skip the lines and join those in First Class. Easy to use from your phone. Highly recommend.

This is the second time using SeatBoost , and successfully upgrading my seat for a bargain price. The customer service was also great! Look forward to flying Virgin and using this app again!

Departing from SF and the Virgin ticket people announced about the SeatBooster app and how I could easily upgrade to first class for half the price I would normally pay and I won!!
Paid only an $50 for first class upgrade versus 100.
