This “refresh” is awful. Previously, it actually looked like a calendar and was functioning without issue. it did exactly what I paid for. Each date was separated and outlined in a box, was very clear and easy to read.
Now it’s just the standard calendar that comes with an iPhone (which is pretty awful itself) except they’ve somehow managed to make it worse. This is the worst type of “update” one can make and I’ve been there before. Some goofs in some corporate office feel WorkTime is getting stale and needs a facelift for the sake of getting a facelift in hopes that drives in more revenue. It’s a calendar app.... If these folks think anyone is dumb enough to pay what they’re charging for a calendar because of a facelift then they will soon find they were very mistaken. After 2 years, goodbye.

I’ve been using this app since 2017, and since then, the design has only gotten uglier and the functionality worse. Final straw for me is coming back after two semesters off work to focus on school, and I can’t even set an alarm for my shifts now without paying money; something that used to be a free feature.

I get it, I get it, apps want to be profitable, you want to give incentive to spend a little money on it. But taking away the simplest of previously-free features behind a paywall? Utterly aggravating. And for so simple an app, a SUBSCRIPTION? Is anybody really buying that?

All I downloaded it for was a convenient way to keep my schedule and alarms together for work. Guess I’ll just migrate to the calendar app. 🤷

Price $10 for a year? Ok I appreciate developers have to pay bills and make this but this is designed for minimum wage individuals and coughing up $10 for pro a year is just slap in face especially when all its doing is calculating what a google spread sheet will do. Only advantage is an alarm/alert which is not worth $10 a year at all!

Free version is not even a version its bland I cant do anything I cant sync to calendar I cant calculate anything I cant set alerts so its useless. Dont bother downloading it.

Paid version is not worth $10 a year. Maybe $3-6 one time fee for WorkTime is fine but not recurring payment subscription. The subscription bubble is filled with businesses trying to take a slice from the pie but WorkTime does not fit in this business model at all. So I cant use WorkTime unless I pay therefore I cant write a better review than this given what I experienced.

I really, REALLY did use to love WorkTime! I was so happy when I found it! I had two jobs at the time, so this was the PERFECT solution for being able to pull up my schedules! I didn’t even mind paying the $1-2 a month to get the pro features whenever I could afford it. Now that I’ve been promoted, I decided it was time to buy the year subscription.. but it went up by SO MUCH! $4 for a WEEK? $50 for a year?! I can’t afford that. Not even the $9 per month. It really saddens me because I really do love WorkTime, but I just can’t bring myself to spend so much with so many any bills coming in.

I like WorkTime, though I wish there was an option in the settings to change the layout/size of individual days on the calendar. For instance, if I could view one week in two rows, this would allow me to see the days that I work in bigger text size. Maybe if a “calendar-gauge” was added that could increase the size of text, therefore increasing the amount of rows of days that I can see in one row. Even if a vertical, scrolling feature was added, I would feel much more comfortable using WorkTime . Lastly, it would be AMAZING if this app was Siri-compatible in the sense that if I said: “Siri, use this app to see what time I work today,” I could then use your app hands-free. I like WorkTime and use it. A couple things that are very annoying about WorkTime are 1st that it will not rotate to fit your screen horizontally. It will only work in landscape view. It is very frustrating trying use WorkTime on an iPad and type while it will only view in the vertical view mode. Please fix WorkTime to rotate the screen to view and work in the landscape mode on mobile devices. 2nd is you can’t copy something you wrote from one day and post it in another day, why? Copy and paste would help a lot when needing to write basically the same information over and over from different days.

I love WorkTime and use it all the time and pay for the premium version. As a full time working RN the only thing I would suggest is there needs to be a way to edit different jobs to add in shift differential. For example there’s an added pay rate for 2nd shift versus 3rd shift, but with 12 hour shifts those collide. This makes it just an estimate for my pay on WorkTime since I can only put in one pay rate per job. It would be helpful if under each job you could add pay rates based on different hours. Overall I love it!

WorkTime is super easy to use if you need an organized way to keep track of your paycheck, especially if you work multiple jobs. I have used WorkTime for years now. The new update isn’t my favorite, although it still is user friendly. My two requests are to 1) not have the icon menu go in the middle of the calendar when you want to add a shift and 2) add an option to delete old jobs from the job menu.

WorkTime has built a solid foundation! The Pro version has a lot of great features like being able to calculate hours between the dates you specify, multiple jobs, quick add for recent shifts and much more! It is a great way to organize multiple jobs, and keep track of all up coming shifts. With that said I believe there is room for improvement. Adding small features such as showing how many hours the shift is and a quick add for the same shift on different days would greatly improve WorkTime !

I love WorkTime , have been using for over a year to schedule and pay caregivers for my mom , BUT I really wish you would add a feature to the manage jobs such that one can make an employee inactive. I don’t want to delete them because at the end of year when I want to calculate total paid out for the year I need their wages included. Also it would be nice if one could change the order in which the jobs appear so that I don’t have to scroll through all the past employees to get to the current ones.

Seriously the best for helping me keep my budget on track. It's simple and easy to use. Pretty straight forward on how to maneuver around it. The reasons I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

1) Whenever I add hours to it, or calculate total hours and go back to the calendar it doesn't allow me to click on another day. Not sure why that is. I have to force close WorkTime and then reopen it which can be very annoying.

2) there's no way to add tips to a shift. I guess I can just have a separate "job" for tips. But I'd like it to include ALL of my income from the one shift.

I’ve been using WorkTime for over two years now and I like it. I’m annoyed with the fact that it was updated recently and all my shifts that I have put onto WorkTime disappeared from two years ago. I kept that for record purposes. I just wish one of it disappeared. Oh well I guess. Other than that I like WorkTime . If I do get a second job then I will pay to upgrade it. I might do it anyways to manage my money and etc.. it’s a good app. I would consider downloading it if you want to have a schedule that’s written down.

WorkTime. has been a great help for me. Im an employee in the emergency room… since COVID came around my work week has become a tad bit hectic. 50+ hrs mostly being mandated. I have the widget set a little larger on my home screen and simply have Siri add things into my schedule so that nothing is missed!! I add a ** as a reminder to myself for shifts that are high incentive. I don’t have the paid version but that just adds up your pay I simply switch between WorkTime and the calculator if need be.

I've downloaded a few apps looking for a simple, yet effective and efficient work schedule. My schedule is all over the place on a weekly basis and other apps make it difficult to keep track of an ever-changing shift range. WorkTime is just plain ole' good. I have the free version and it does exactly what I need it to do without ads or other useless gimmicks. I also really like that it shows your est. earnings and if you open WorkTime during a shift, it will show you how and est. of how much your earning each second. You can add multiple jobs/multiple shifts for the same day.

To make a long story short, this is def WorkTime for you if you're looking for a simple and effective schedule keeping app. Good job, creators!!

I have been using WorkTime for well over 2 years now and with or without the Paid version it does what I need with ease. Simplistic & very well crafted. I have gotten a couple of my coworkers to download WorkTime and they now too use it & enjoy it as much as I do. Some of my elder coworkers found it easy to figure out so that is a plus as well! Highly recommend this for someone that likes to copy schedule and keep organized.

I have loved WorkTime for years and still swear by it for the easiest way to track your shifts if you work irregular schedules. My only beef is that I’ve been premium for a while and they updated the cost, I still get the old price (which is AWESOME) but they make me “restore purchase” every time I use it, multiple times. It’s annoying tbh but everything else about WorkTime is great! Convenient, sleek, easy to send to other calendars & still edit, calculating pay and breaks etc. is a breeze.

I am a young adult who just got my first job and WorkTime helps me keep track of when I next work. One little gripe is it can be a little annoying at times to maneuver around WorkTime . Sometimes I have trouble putting in my hours then getting back to the main calendar view. Most of the time in this situation I just force close WorkTime then reopen to get back to the main view. I’m sure there is just something I’m missing and could learn. Overall WorkTime is very helpful.

I love how clean and simple everything, my favorite part are the widgets! It shows me my shift that day and LIVE updates of how much i’ve been paid since I clocked in which I think is pretty cool. I can also share my shifts with other people and they can also see any changes I made. A lot of the other apps i’ve tried have glitches or crashes and i don’t need to buy the membership, I have everything I need in WorkTime without paying for anything

My husband made a good point saying I could just write down my shifts on the calendar and calculate my hours myself but I genuinely like being able to open my phone and see my work week at a glance. I have it color coded and organized to fit my style and it’s helpful to get reminders of shifts especially if I forget. Having two jobs has been a lot on my schedule but I feel like I have a better grasp on my time with WorkTime. I paid $20 for 6 months which for me was going to be a testing period but I would gladly pay for a years worth of WorkTime.

WorkTime is absolutely awesome, I’ve used it since 2018 to track my hours for the different jobs I’ve worked at. I really like all the updates that have been released, especially with 3.2 because I can now track my hours on the Home Screen. If I had one negative thing about WorkTime would be when trying to calculate hours, the current day and the “weekends” are the same color. It’s hard to tell what day it is when calculating hours. But other than that you guys have really outdone yourselves with this life saving app!!

I use WorkTime just so I have a clear image and understanding of my work weeks. It works amazing for me! It’s very easy to use and there’s plenty of simple customizations to use that make it visually comprehensive at a glance.
If you’re someone who’s expecting them to have all the fancy tricks and options, then you’ll just have to get a different app or cough up a measly $10 for an entire year for pro. WorkTime itself works great and doesn’t have any technical issues, so if you don’t like how simple it is as a free app, then just find an app that works better for your desires.

I really was starting to enjoy WorkTime . I’m transitioning from a paper world of organization to a digital one. For time keeping purposes - This did that. Where my problem arose was the accuracy in gross pay calculations. The fact that WorkTime offered gross pay calculations was a plus , but it isn’t accurate when I get my checks. It’s constantly off which threw me off and added time that I would have to recalculate and write out my time and earnings.
