This company does nothing but robo answer emails. They have 3 “support techs” that refer you to the same email addresses and chats that do nothing. They have 4 main excuses. It’s being processed...it was sent to the billing manager...technical issues with their system....you will receive it within 15-21 business days, 48 hours or 24 hours.

Blow up their “support” chat. I got all but $5 of my money back. Contact Apple, FTC and e-commerce. They need to be shut down!

Beware! While you are registering, a Popup banner appears offering you a 30% discount for 3 device monitoring & a 40% discount for 5 devices. If you accept that, you have now been baited.

Then after messing around, following their instructions to a T, you still can’t get it to work. (I’m extremely tech savvy, can assemble PCs from scratch, troubleshoot laptop hardware & software issues, etc). Their software is JUNK.

I finally gave up and asked for a refund. But apparently no, part of offering the discount for you is that there is no refund. Now, nowhere did that popup discount offer mention that.

Crooks! If there is any way to contact Apple, FamilyTimeJr should be reported and taken down because the only way they are making money is by scamming innocent new customers and moving on to new prey.

Myself like others have reported did not have a good experience. FamilyTimeJr never worked even after paying for it. I went back and forth with customer service for a refund to no avail. The syncing was the biggest problem. FamilyTimeJr would lose connection and therefore would not work as intended. After over a year I get an email telling me about renewing and even after multiple emails saying I was not interested, still am being sent more. Meanwhile I use another app that is free and that actual works. Save yourself some aggravation.

My mom is super over protective so I have to have this and obesity I think if she trusted me we would have to ha e this but she doesn’t trust me what so ever and she won’t give me any trust she won’t even try. Stay away from these apps cause it makes your kids life’s miserable I’m only giving it a one star cause I have to put a star on it. These apps are horrible especially when you have moms that if you do one thing wrong then your phone is off for 2 weeks. They are just as addicted to technology then we are so if we have a time limit shouldn’t they?? Yes they should have one cause it’s only fair they do something stupid we take their phone away revolt against Karen’s.

The vpn service that allows you to control your child’s device rarely connected and when it did, would slow down internet interactions to the point it was unusable. FamilyTimeJr would never lock out the devices when daily screen limits were exceeded. Just a poor excuse for parental controls.

I was billed even after cancelling the service prior to the expiration of my trial period. I immediately reached out to the developer and was given the runaround. Suffice it to say it has been a month and a half and I don’t expect to get my money back from this sham company so I wanted to make it known to others to ensure no one else falls for this poor excuse of an app an company

I researched a half dozen apps for the features I needed and eventually selected FamilyTime. I went to down FamilyTimeJr , saw the bad reviews and dismissed them. My mistake. I bought it and loaded it up within 24 hours on my kids devices to learn some features don’t work like a “family pause” because we both have Apple iOS. What? Being able to turn off the phones when it was dinner or the teenager was being disrespectful was the primary need. No refund could be given as I signed up on the New Year discount so no trial period for me. Crappy policy. Keep unhappy customers around to write bad reviews vs just giving a simple refund. Must get a refund request so often they can’t afford to stand behind their product. DO NOT BUY.

I signed up for a free trial of their premium service. I immediately started playing with the service and found it did not have the functions I was looking for, so I emailed their support team to let them know I wanted to cancel the trial. Instead of canceling it, they tried to negotiate with me to keep it. I called their support number and reached someone from another country and come to find out they never canceled my trial. Today I received an email stating I would be charged for their premium service. Upon contacting support again, I was told that I will be charged but I can be refunded!! What?! No, I did what I was supposed to do, you cannot charge me now! I was told there was a malfunction with their billing merchant system and its out of their control. BS!! Reporting this to my credit card company now. These people are scammers.

Its a scam, beware of FamilyTimeJr! Their chat support had me put two 5 stars reviews from 2 parents account, before I purchased it so I'll get 50% off the price, I agreed knowing I'd be able to change it if needed and hoped FamilyTimeJr will work great, FamilyTimeJr would not install on my daughter iPad , it kept saying that the installation failed, I tried for few hours to get it to work with their tech support, nothing worked, at one point FamilyTimeJr just kept crashing, couldn’t even open it, I asked for refund 2 hours after purchased since I cannot use it but they wont refund me saying I took the promotion price and it is non refundable, it was never mentioned when the promotion was offered to me. They also told me that I have to send email to billing since they dont process refunds through the chat. All the 5 starts reviews are from people that took the discount in exchange for a review. Scam!!

Worst app ever😭😡😡😭😭😭

The only thing FamilyTimeJr did was steal money. It never inforced screen time. It drained the battery and reset my child’s phone. It made it hard to use because the Home Screen would always turn off and on. It randomly powered off a lot as well.

FamilyTimeJr is so bad. It does not work at all and is a total invasion of privacy. It’s not fair and has torn my family apart I am no longer talking to my dad after he put it on. Parents do not get it! FamilyTimeJr is a scam.

Never worked. After several months I have to uninstall it on all phone and reinstall it because it was not working properly. Just don’t do it

I was hoping for good things with FamilyTimeJr. It was affordable and looked good. Sadly it did not deliver like I thought it should. I continuously had to delete and reinstall FamilyTimeJr or the permissions inside the settings screen.
