super smart idea, and definitely can go far!! Knack and website have so many technical issues though, where tutors don’t get paid out unless reaching out to support for approved hours + Knack constantly glitches (for instance i have a student who only sees requests she sends but nothing i send) messages won’t show up unless you click to open the chat (ie no notification on the homepage). small glitches, just means you have to be more on top of your work. also confused on why there is an hourly limit for post grad tutors, since the reasoning given is that the max hours is what students should be working in a school week.
this app connects students(me) to tutors. It allows students to get help on concepts that are tripping us up. The. we are able to continue to build those skills as the class progresses. For online students this app brings the student and tutor together virtually.
Edit: These guys thought of everything! I love Knack. Never crashes, (that’s a big one for me) and it’s so easy to schedule and charge for sessions. I’ll never leave this app for my tutoring services.
Knack functions really smooth unlike some others I've tried out. The support team always gets back to me quickly with any questions. I use it to hire private tutors and TAs for my upper level courses and to offer my tutoring services to students in the classes I've mastered in my major. I love how easy it is to be a tutor on this app, it's like getting paid to study and keep sharp on old concepts! I love it!

this app, which I get free via my college, is a great service to connect to highly-skilled tutors who help me ace my coursework!
While the platform doesn’t work perfectly, sometimes it’s my fault and sometimes it’s the internet. The rest of the time, it’s wonderful! Setting up sessions and billing/payment are a breeze. My families have been flexible when there have been glitches and we call or text, as needed. I’m totally enjoying on-line tutoring. Thank you, TRTF and this app!
Customer service is amazing. The tutors are very good. I wish they allowed more hours per week but other than that, this app is very good.

As a student, at times when a professor is explaining something you feel as if you cannot relate. When you have someone who was in your shoes trying to explain it, it helps connecting way easier! Definitely give it a try.
I almost never write reviews for apps, or anything for that matter, but this app tutoring is awesome. The interface is clean and easy to use. The platform is innovative and simple. The partnership with UF is such a grade saver. Simply put, I’m a better student because of this app and I hope to see UF continue funding this service as it benefits tutors and students in Gainesville across the board.
I’m a tutor on this platform and it’s the best I’ve ever experienced!! No glitches and is very convenient for both tutor and tutee. It allows both parties to schedule sessions based on personal convenience and schedules. Great for teaching or just going over assignments when you can share screens!! 10/10
