Very dangerous! The app is so convenient and easy to use that I find myself for hours looking through things for sale and I love it. Anytime that I have ever had to speak with the eBay representative they have been extremely professional and 100% attentive and really wants to get involved with solving your problem, explaining the rules so that maybe you don’t experience that issue again, and they will also reach out to the seller if the seller is the one that’s wrong and explain to them why they are. I love the app and I love to work with the representatives. I do you not feel anxiety that I need to call the eBay customer service reps and I’m like “oh great it’s going to be a problem”, it is the exact opposite. Again like I said the reps are so professional and extremely helpful I love to get to work with them. I do not like having an issue with the seller but I absolutely love to work with eBay’s customer service reps. So if you have a little bit of time check out the eBay app and you just might find yourself doing the same as me, and staying on it all day long.
I have been a seller on EBay since 2004 and to this day I still love to sell and buy. This app is my go to nowadays. Selling is a breeze and this app makes it that way. Take a picture with your phone or tablet and post your item within a few minutes. Buying can be easy as well if you find what you need and check out, especially if what you are purchasing is new. BUT.. If you are comparing used items, it can get a little tricky. When you are looking for a particular product and there are several different listings of that product, I tend to look at the same listing over and over again if the listing looks similar. This is a pain when there are 25+ of the same product. Therefor I would love to see a option to hide a sellers product that I know I definitely do not want. My idea is...from the list of items, just slide the product you are no longer considering to the left or right and touch hide so you wouldn’t be able to see that listing just for the time you are presently on the app. I’m sure I’m not the only ebay customer that is meticulous when choosing which product to purchase, especially when it’s used. It would save your buyer so much time! Please consider this option and thank you!
I’ve been a seller on eBay for many years, a review on the platform itself is a whole different thing. This is a review of the app. I think it’s very easy to use and helpful for both buyers and sellers. I feel the app gets rid of a lot of the extra features that get in the way on the website. However, I don’t like that as a seller the only feature is to view, edit, and list your items. There are a lot of other facets to being a seller that could make up an “Ebay Seller App” such as paying my bill, viewing my daily sales or monthly numbers, starting a promotion, etc. All of this aside, there are two actual flaws with the current Ebay app. When I click on my profile to view any new or previous feedback, the screen never loads. Also, when scrolling through my items the app loads the items in bunches. This is fine but I am never able to scroll through all of my items because after loading a few bunches as I’m scrolling it freezes and can’t load anymore items. Then I have to leave the page and go back to try to get further down the list of the items - but it’s never possible. Fix these two things and you’ll have 5 stars from me!
I’ve been a member on eBay for over a decade at this point. I’ve been using the app for a good portion of that although lately it’s been very frustrating. I watch, bid, sell many items on eBay and when I’m browsing my lists everything randomly disappears! Tells me I have no bids or offers, or items in my watch list! I have to refresh for it to come back and even then only a couple items will show up. Right now I can’t even scroll my lists! Disappears every time I scroll down! This has affected my bidding and it’s getting out of hand! Please fix this ASAP! Also a much needed and long overdue filter is the ability to search by feedback rating! I sift through so many listings trying to find sellers that are 98%-100% feedback rating Or the number of negatives they have in the past 1-6 months. Also the ability to search for trusted sellers would be nice. I’ve had many issues with new members. Yes I’m aware they’re new but my time is valuable! Most recently I made a purchase and the seller had a problem with verifying their email due to mistyping it. They cancelled the transaction. (I had to call PayPal to get my refund on that one) They kept in contact and had me wait a week for them to get it re listed! On top of that they had me pay more than the price we agreed on during the 1st sale! I value my time and it would be wonderful to filter by seller rating! Thanks for hearing me out. Thanks for your time!
TO ANYONE FROM EBAY, PLEASE READ. I’ve been using the eBay app for many years and it’s time to make major upgrades as far as searching goes. For example, when you refine your searches you should be able to put options for the seller. Separate companies from legit normal sellers/people. First off, I hate looking at generic stock images of companies selling stuff. Especially when it comes to clothing or car parts. I would rather buy from an actual human with actual pictures of the items. Not companies with 20K or 100K in feedback that can’t even answer your questions or make sure your item is shipped accordingly. They are very unorganized because of traffic. eBay shouldn’t be for companies. Also, there should be an option to choose sellers with 100% positive feedback. Or no more than 3 negative reviews. I don’t want sellers with 10 or more negative reviews. It’s a preference because why would I want someone that hasn’t learned or doesn’t take pride in selling. It’s really not that hard to keep your feedback at 100%. I’m a buying/seller and everybody I’ve dealt with has been really legit simply because I keep it with the trusted ones. But it’s hell when you have to search for hours in order to find these people. I have it a three because other than that it’s fine but this has been a huge hurdle. I’m surprise no one else has thought of changing this.
