The AP World Languages Exam App (AP WLEA) is a free app developed by College Board and ETS for AP students to take their 2020 AP Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish Language and Culture online exams. The app includes audio instructions and prompts to guide students through the exam and records their responses. Recorded responses will automatically upload for scoring. AP WLEA also has a practice mode for practice prior to exam day. NOTE: The AP WLEA is new for the 2020 AP online exam. It is the ONLY recording option that can be used to record world language audio responses in 2020. Previous recording options such as handheld digital recorders, computers with recording software, digital language labs, or the DAC app may not be used.
