How to Cancel Background

This app used to be wonderful to see new and visually interesting photography, even on the free version! I had this app for over a year, and a few months ago the app stopped working. I figured they were updating some things, so I just ignored it until it started working again. However, the new version almost seems like a ripoff copy of what it was before. All of the text is layered over itself, and the photos don’t move like they’re supposed to (nor will they update to anything besides the same 10 pictures). Almost seemed like they’d been hacked! Overall, the app WAS good, but now whatever they’ve done to it has ruined the entire app.

This was my favorite wallpaper app. I downloaded so many wallpapers on here and would like to continue doing so. I loved tracking the designers and seeing that I kept using the same designers for the backgrounds. I love when you scrolled, it would automatically slow and snap the photo into full view. It was such a simple and elegant wallpaper app. But this app stopped recently and the app is broken. What happened?!? If I need to get a premium membership to support the app, I’ll do it. I just want my favorite wallpaper app back.

What happened, this app? You use to be this app with beautiful pictures in your feed everyday and in the search section a plenty of key words and possibilities. It was always a one-time purchase thing in the app and after that it’s all just enjoyable high-resolution pictures to download. Now it’s a app with very limited keywords, regular/low quality photos and a needed $9.99/week subscription. One star for the app and another for how good this app use to be.

I downloaded this app to try it out and initially it won’t let you get past a pop up which requires you to agree to your “free 3 days” of their subscription. There’s no way to get past it without agreeing. I use it a little the first day then don’t come backs for a couple weeks because it’s not that exciting of an app. They have the same few backgrounds it shows you every time I opened it. I saw today a receipt in my email showing that it charged me for two weekly subscriptions ($9.99 per WEEK?!?!?!?) since then. Their prices were never mentioned as a part of the subscription process. I thought I was on a free 3 day trial as they put it and immediately after that it put me on their WEEKLY subscription costing $9.99 which is ridiculous even for an app that has products you would actually use regularly. This app should not be allowed for download! You should know when you’re being robbed of $10 each week for an app subscription that was automatically started at the end of a “free 3 day trial”. Thankfully Apple Support was extremely helpful and worked to get me a refund.

All it does is save an image to your phone that does nothing different than regular images on your phone. Even on “perspective” mode on the this app, it hardly moves. You could probably find the same pictures or even better ones online and screenshot them and they would be no different. Downloading this app is useless and a waste of time and storage. Even in the app it had the false advertising of showing moving images but they only move that much in app. If you’re looking for an app that lets you have cool images like this gives you, you get the same things from the app everyone has, it’s called “settings”. Their ads on social media also have very very false advertising and show a this app that isn’t in it and doesn’t exist. It was cgi and this whole app is a ripoff. I’m writing this to hopefully save someone the time and storage I had wasted falling into their trap. I honestly don’t know why it has such high reviews.
