The best Star Trek MMORPG on mobile. The best Star Trek Experience since the one in Vegas shut down. Seriously, until someone makes a Star Trek dungeon crawler or top-down tactical game, this is as good a Star Trek mobile game as you will ever get. A little limited in visual frills (I’d love to see the interior of the Romulan ship my crew is moving through!) but that opens up the possibilities of the game. The feeling of command is real because you are choosing the right crew to send on away missions. You are responsible for training and advancing them. I’d like to see real faction events, where not only can you support just one faction, but you can only use crew from one faction. Imagine a true Klingon vs Federation event. But overall, the best mobile Trek game there is, or is likely to be. Graphics are top notch on my iPhone 7 and iPad Pro. I’ve found support (through the website, submitting a ticket) to be great. Some delays when there is heavy traffic. Could do with new episodes though. PLEASE. All in all, the most all encompassing Trek experience you’ll find on mobile.
I’m a long time fan of Star Trek - when I first downloaded this game (a few days after initial launch) I discovered the paywall and decided I’ll play as a free player only. I didn’t expect much besides collecting some lower grade cards and maybe having some fun as long as it lasted. The “Star Trek” association drew me in. The daily awards give out some good things including a super rare card, in the coming months more additions to the game were introduced allowing people like me (playing free) to slowly collect upper tier (super rare and legendary) cards. Other additions like voyages give one the ability to collect more pieces like chronitons so you can run more missions. There’s a strong player community and forum where players get tips on how to play. Customer support is responsive. I’ve never needed to contact them but depending on your situation I’ve heard they can be great or not so great. It depends. Anyway, if you’re willing to put in the time, you don’t need to spend a penny to build a strong crew. I’ve done it. You just need to have patience.
The detailing, on the ships and characters, is unbelievably accurate. They way you’ve tied every ship and character from every show and movie into one seamless storyline is incredible. I really like how you can really study the ships, go from world to world at anytime and complete side goals for rewards. I’ve been playing for the better part of 2 years and I have to say, I’m impressed. Looking at any character takes me back to the show and story. That’s where it’s at for me. The pvp ship battles aren’t bad either :) Your generosity in the game is unending. It's a great thing you have here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I write this as I’m putting my 8 week old daughter to bed. I guess you never know, we could have another “pointy eared, green blooded hobgoblin” fan in our family. Hopefully your game will still be around for her to experience. An already long review, so I will simply say “Good luck” and thank you. Admiral Tomalak
Longtime player, probably long time before I feel done with this one. I haven’t read ANY other reviews of this game, I came straight from a link within the game. There’s plenty of things to do in the game, depending on how much time you want to spend grinding a few tasks. Probably feels a little repetitive for some people but for me it works because you actually are getting a fair amount of resources for tasks that only take a couple minutes each day. You can definitely play this game without dropping a ton of $$ but you are best off at least purchasing the monthly ‘gem’ thing for around four dollars so you can purchase a couple things that can only be gotten with ‘gems’ There’s some PvP and some space battles and weekly events where you can pick up some extra crew members. Bottom line, I really like this game, I play daily and it’s at least worth a try if you like Star Trek and/or strategy.
So, I have been playing as a Free Player for a little over 3 Years & so far I have unlocked some pretty good ships and characters. Its amazing how the developers have conceived the various versions of almost each and every character in the known in the Star Trek Universe including the CBS Timeline Characters and Ships as well so Bravo to the Devs for getting those into the game. In addition yo the Next Gen Characters, I would like to see more of the Next Gen Movie ships like the Akira Class, Saber Class, Steamrunner Class, and the Norway Class Ships. The Oberth Class Starship was quite my favorite in the TV Series plus the Ambassador Class Starship - like the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-C. Skirmish events are my favorite, and the Faction Missions are rewarding as well. The Supply Events are the most challenging since they will send you around the galaxy looking for supplies and that can exhaust some your resources but they are rewarding. Overall, Bravo to the Developers - I Do Like This Game 🙂👍🏻🚀
