My spinning studio recently shut down & I was sad that I would no longer have classes in a convenient location to my home. I got curious about spinning apps & found CycleCast. I’ve been using it for approximately 2 weeks now & I’m really enjoying it. Sometimes I feel like the instructions are not very clear or there’s too much talking & then it just makes it confusing (especially because you don’t have the benefit of reading facial or body language). At times, the instructions are given too far in advance & then when we actually get to the interval I’ve forgotten what we’re supposed to be doing but aside from these minor annoyances I like the instructors, the style and the convenience. The reason I downgraded to 4 stars is because the app keeps logging me out & there’s no option to stay logged in. Having to log in almost everyday has gotten very annoying. If possible, please fix this issue.

I’ve been using the app for a few weeks now. So far I’m extremely happy with it. The app is simple and does exactly what I expected it to - home spinning classes. They have multiple trainers and have classes with multiple times, so it’s easy to pick one that fits my schedule.
Compared to a gym membership or other apps, this one fits the bill really well, and I think it well worth the monthly fee. I was paying a lot more for my gym and struggling to get to classes on time. Now I can do it on-demand.
I’ve used 3 of the instructors so far and I’ve been happy with each of them. They do a good job of talking through the class without over talking so you can zone into the music. Well balanced to instruct when I was new to the app vs. once I knew the routine.
The ONLY reason I’m taking a star off is due to the fact that they do not support multiple profiles. I have 2 users in my household, but they only allow one profile for the account. Since I’m billed through iTunes there’s no reason for this limitation. I asked this question and support (which was very responsive!) informed me that this was a current limitation. If they fix this limitation, I will up my rating to 5 star. Very happy otherwise.

I really love the variety of workouts that CycleCast has, and especially how it picks specific music to help you match the intensity of your workout. I love cycling classes, but I work strange hours, so I often can’t make their schedule work. However, I did drop a star because I would really like the functionality to download a workout. I would think it could just have an expiration date if they’re worried about people downloading and not subscribing. My gym has spotty Wifi and at home my internet is slow because I live in the country. It really kills the vibe when the internet fails in the middle of a workout. I also wish there was a small video or at least some sort of icon of what move you should be doing- if I’m really into a workout, I might miss a verbal direction.
