Great Workout App!

I really love the variety of workouts that CycleCast has, and especially how it picks specific music to help you match the intensity of your workout. I love cycling classes, but I work strange hours, so I often can’t make their schedule work. However, I did drop a star because I would really like the functionality to download a workout. I would think it could just have an expiration date if they’re worried about people downloading and not subscribing. My gym has spotty Wifi and at home my internet is slow because I live in the country. It really kills the vibe when the internet fails in the middle of a workout. I also wish there was a small video or at least some sort of icon of what move you should be doing- if I’m really into a workout, I might miss a verbal direction.

Great Spin App! (Almost) 5 star

I’ve been using CardioCast for a few weeks now. So far I’m extremely happy with it. CardioCast is simple and does exactly what I expected it to - home spinning classes. They have multiple trainers and have classes with multiple times, so it’s easy to pick one that fits my schedule.

Compared to a gym membership or other apps, this one fits the bill really well, and I think it well worth the monthly fee. I was paying a lot more for my gym and struggling to get to classes on time. Now I can do it on-demand.

I’ve used 3 of the instructors so far and I’ve been happy with each of them. They do a good job of talking through the class without over talking so you can zone into the music. Well balanced to instruct when I was new to CardioCast vs. once I knew the routine.

The ONLY reason I’m taking a star off is due to the fact that they do not support multiple profiles. I have 2 users in my household, but they only allow one profile for the account. Since I’m billed through iTunes there’s no reason for this limitation. I asked this question and support (which was very responsive!) informed me that this was a current limitation. If they fix this limitation, I will up my rating to 5 star. Very happy otherwise.

Grateful this app exists

My spinning studio recently shut down & I was sad that I would no longer have classes in a convenient location to my home. I got curious about spinning apps & found CycleCast. I’ve been using it for approximately 2 weeks now & I’m really enjoying it. Sometimes I feel like the instructions are not very clear or there’s too much talking & then it just makes it confusing (especially because you don’t have the benefit of reading facial or body language). At times, the instructions are given too far in advance & then when we actually get to the interval I’ve forgotten what we’re supposed to be doing but aside from these minor annoyances I like the instructors, the style and the convenience. The reason I downgraded to 4 stars is because CardioCast keeps logging me out & there’s no option to stay logged in. Having to log in almost everyday has gotten very annoying. If possible, please fix this issue.

Great!

I started using this when it was CycleCast and I liked it much better than the Peloton app because I didn’t have to look at my phone all of the time to see what they were doing. The instructors cue really well and you don’t need to see them. And it’s great not being a slave to the gym’s cycle class schedule. If I want to do a class at 1:17 pm, I can! My only complaint at the time was that they didn’t have very many workouts. Fastforward to late 2020 and what is now this app is great with many more options. I have done a few runs - definitely makes the time go by faster having an instructor talking me through the run, it’s nice listening to music selected by someone else, and I push myself harder than I would if left to my own devices. And it seems like there’s a bigger library of workouts.

Actually 5 stars

I don’t make a habit of 5 stars bec I feel like companies get complacent when they get 5. So, even though I gave 5, there’s still room for improvement. I have had CardioCast for 3 months and waited until now to rate it. The bike workouts are varied and have something for whatever you feel like: easy mid or hard, and I love the 20 min options for when you don’t feel like a big workout but need something to get some work in for the day. I also like how the workouts rotate through with new ones, and I love that new instructors are added. I have lost 15 lbs in 3 months by doing something on CardioCast at least 4 times a week. I will rate again in another 3 months to see if it is consistent with the quality.

Truly worth the money

CardioCast is exactly what I have been looking for. I didn’t need a live class, real road video footage, simulated racing or any of that over-the-top indoor workout glitter. I wanted to be led through a workout with good music. The fact that you can choose from a variety of duration times was a bonus. Especially since I’m starting with zero cardio fitness, the 20 minute workout is plenty for now. I really like each of the instructors that I have heard so far. They speak just enough to lead you through without meaningless banter. They are encouraging as well. And you can adjust the volumes of both the music and the instructor separately. I was happy to buy a year’s subscription after my free trial. Very much worth the money. A well-done professional fitness product!

So glad I re downloaded!

I initially found CycleCast several years ago when making it to the gym for a spin class just wasn’t feasible anymore, and honestly the teacher was boring me. I have a spin bike at home and the workouts were always great and different every time. I got pregnant with my second child and was focusing on swimming for exercise because it just felt best. Cut to nearly 3 years later and I could feel my body craving some hard core cardio as I’m mostly weightlifting right now. Omg, I missed CardioCast and didn’t even realize it! I’ve done two rides with Nöel and her vibe is my jam! She’s a new addition for me and I love her! Such great rides that were over so quickly because it was so fun! Looking for an amazing sweat sesh? Download CardioCast! You won’t find a better price either!

This is my solution

I love spin class, unfortunately due to my work schedule I could usually only hit one class consistently per week. Then I started missing even that one. So I searched for online spin and CardioCast popped up. I have lived it since day 1. I may have a couple favorite trainers but I generally enjoy trying out the different trainers as well. The music is great, the rides are hard (my heart rate monitor prices it). I used to use CardioCast at the gym as we were allowed to use a spin bike outside the workout room. I finally bought myself a spin bike for home now I have even more flexibility. I recently started using the outside run trainers and they have been very great as well. I’ve started sprinting which is increasing my cardio stamina. CardioCast is worth far more than it costs.

Love CardioCast!

I have been using CardioCast for about three years now at the gym and at home. The classes are all great and I use nearly all of them: running, cycling and body weight boot camps several times a week. Every coach is inspiring and they each bring their own style to their classes, in both the workouts and the music they use. You can tailor your intensity to your ability and the coaches always offer multiple options based on what you can handle. New classes are added all the time so you never repeat. this app has an active Facebook community that both users and coaches participate in frequently, so that the coaches become people you feel that you know, as opposed to just voices coming from a device. I recommend this app to anyone, of any fitness level.

Who needs an expensive Pelotan!

I’m so glad I decided not to get the Pelotan bike and to just think budget-friendly with my very own Stationery Bike and this app. Since a lot of the gyms now don’t allow Cardio because of the current Pandemic, and I wanted a hardcore home cardio experience to match what I would have been doing at a gym group cycling class, this is the best thing ever to going to a gym cycling class. When I also couldn’t get into my previous gym cycling classes, I would use the predecessor to this app-CycleCast so I already knew how great a workout I would get. Now I feel even safer cycling at the comfort of my own home. All the cycling instructors are great on this app, my ultimate favorite is Shonda, I just love her energy, music choices and for some reason how she counts as well when we are holding intense speeds or more resistance, haha!

Should be called “CardioFantastic”

Listen, I hate cardio. With a passion. I do not run. If I’m running, it’s because something’s chasing me or to prevent my kids from whatever mischievous tricks they are thinking. But CardioCast, has completely changed the game. My first time using it was for the walk/jog and I actually smiled while running 🤯! These coaches are the best. They know exactly when to push you and most importantly, how to push you. It is completely audible. There is no visual part of this other than where you are exercising. Which I honestly think is a huge benefit. We stare at screens all day long. CardioCast, while exercising, gives us that break and in my opinion, really helps you tune in to your body more. You’re able to focus on the cues the instructors are giving you to really push yourself; which in return, provides a greater outcome of a workout. I highly recommend CardioCast. Whether you’re a pro or beginner, it’s amazing. It’s a good break to just be with yourself, focusing on yourself, for both your mental and physical well-being. Thank you this app!

Just as Good (If Not Better!) Than My Favorite Spin Studio

I fell in love with spin around this time a couple of years ago - mostly because a new studio opened near me and the vibe, rides, music and lights were all BOMB. I loved leaving dripping with sweat and would feel so exhaustedly accomplished at the end of class which was a nice change of pace from my regular bodybuilding and powerlifting style workouts. Cut to realizing that spending $200+ a month for a few classes a week just wasn’t feasible (would rather spend that money on traveling or pizza 🙃) and my husband and I bought a spin bike for our home gym. I’ve used it regularly, but not following a class or app. I tried the Peleton app for about a month but it was meh. Then, I found CycleCast just a couple of weeks ago and have been AMAZED at how great the classes are. I’m left feeling the same way I did when I would leave the actual studio - just as a sweaty, just as a proud, and the music, so far, has been fantastic. Thanks for putting out such an awesome app and letting us ride with you!

Back on the saddle

I got sick back in September, awaiting a firm diagnosis for multiple sclerosis which stinks because I just turned 31 in April. CardioCast has given me so much in terms of life. The weeks turned to months and after countless doctors visits I was losing hope. The pain sis crazy, my fatigue is insane but CardioCast gets me pumped to work out. I feel good for a couple extra hours and can get some things done like cooking, work, or cleaning around the house and errands. I was a fairly active person and it all came to an abrupt halt. CardioCast has really changed my perspective, I am taking control of my body. Highly recommend this if you are immunosuppressed and worry about going to gyms and things with corona but still want affordable access high quality instructors. If you are a self starter like me and just want to work at your own pace when your body allows.

Best exercise app!

This is the first time I’ve ever reviewed an app but I love it so much, I had to. this app is exactly what I had no idea I was looking for. I can’t afford fancy gym memberships or home fitness equipment. I love taking classes at the gym but the affordable gym around the corner does not offer them. Until I discovered this app I would just go on the elliptical and cruise for a bit while watching a show on my phone and get bored or walk on the treadmill for a bit. I never pushed myself b/c I didn’t really know how. this app makes the cardio machines fun! The music is awesome, there’s something for everyone. I just want to spread the word so that CardioCast stays around forever b/c it’s exactly what I needed. The yoga is great, the body weight workouts are challenging, and the walk/jog, and elliptical beats are fun! I just wish my gym had a rower and better spin bikes. Keep up the good work CC!

This app keep me going!!!

I have to be honest, every time I tried to be consistent in the gym, I always had an excuse to drop off and went back to my sedentary life. I have a perfect stressful job to keep me sitting down most of the day and after having my kids, was the perfect storm to keep my lazy behind in the same spot until…AHA! my body started demanding me changing habits.
I have limited time so when I found this app, was a life changer.
I’m on my first month riding with Danielle and I feel fantastic!!! I shifted my workout this week from 20-30 mins and now I’m burning more calories, my joints and body feel better and these workouts keep me going!!!
As She mention in every workout,- This is the time you choose to dedicate to yourself- and this is exactly what I’m doing now, because if it’s not you, nobody will take care of your body!!! Come and join us!!! 😀💪🏻

Great App for spinning when you’re available

I love to do spin classes. It’s an amazing full body workout. However with my shift work of long hours, most classes take place when I’m either already at work or have to be driving there. I was thrilled when my husband bought me a spin bike for home and I then found CardioCast that lets me do the classes on my own time frame. It’s perfect for my busy schedule. I also love the many options for length of the class. Due to asthma and recent surgery I haven’t been able to go to the gym and run on the treadmill like I enjoy so my body has gotten out of shape. Being able to start with a 20 minute ride and build my stamina back up has been so helpful. I do wish the classes had a visual where you can see the instructors but it’s not a deal breaker for me. I would recommend CardioCast to anyone who loves spin and just can’t make to an in person class!

Great App for Workout

CardioCast is absolutely amazing and worth the price. I was hesitant at first, thinking how is a previously recorded class going to keep me motivated to keep going, or even come back the next day for more? Well, let me tell you, with the variety of coaches, you’ll find that one that you love and you’ll keep coming back! I did the 7 day free trial and then I went ahead and took the annual membership. You save a couple bucks, and you get it over with in one shot. I’m into the spinning, and let me tell you, that even in those 20 minute rides, you sweat like all hell and can burn up to 300 calories or more, depending how much resistance you can endure. This has been an awesome investment. Even if you don’t have your own bike, and you go to the gym, you have your own personal instructor in your pocket and run on tour own schedule. That was, for me, the best part. Workout where I want and when I want. Totally worth it!!!!

Feels just like spin class at home!!

I recently got into spin class, but the drawback was how expensive it was for a monthly membership (around $250) and the commute & commitment to get to class. I stumbled across this app while looking for a spin class alternative that I could use with my new exercise bike at home. Due to the pandemic, I could no longer go to the gym or spin class so I was desperate for another workout regime that would keep me motivated and on track. CardioCast has been a LIFESAVER during these hard times! I look forward to my this app spin workouts. They are very easy to follow, the music is great, and they are also very challenging and fun. I sweat even more than I did at spin class! I love all of the instructors (especially Shanda!!) and the music that keeps me on beat. I could not be happier with CardioCast not only for the reasons listed above, but also for the low monthly price and its ability to keep me extremely motivated and engaged!

Most useful app - maybe EVER!

I got CardioCast for the spin classes. Having the ability to access a fantastic spin class on my timeline, not some random class schedule determined by a gym or company, was a game changer. I mean who wouldn’t want to be able to take a class from the amazing Danielle Devine-Baum, any time?! I started exploring the other classes and instructors. The content on CardioCast is top level. These are some of the best instructors in the business and CardioCast gives you access to them at any time and any place. When I travel, I just take my phone to the gym, which I would do anyway, chose a class and go. When I leave, I’ve had a great workout rather than milling around an unfamiliar gym feeling awkward. I hate running with a passion but coach Cedric Green has me happily doing treadmill runs and loving them. I access CardioCast almost daily. It has already paid for itself ten fold and I am in better shape than I have been in a while. Don’t hesitate, CardioCast amazing!

THE BEST cycle, running, exercise app

I have had gym memberships, treadmills, cycles, taken aerobic classes, yoga classes, and weight training..... CardioCast is FANTASTIC! Worth every penny. I started CardioCast when it was just a cycle app. They added running and now body strength classes. Only thing missing is yoga. I have a yoga app for my yoga though. Anyone wanting to have the luxury of taking a class when you want, exercising to music you like and the class always changing and challenging, this is CardioCast for you. Jonathan is my favorite. When I start to slow he always seems to know and sends encouraging words into my ears pushing me harder. He makes me realize the time I have on the bike is my own and is only for a moment I have set for myself. Just a real motivator. I encourage everyone to try CardioCast for at least 30 days. Give it that much. Worth it!
