Update not compatible

I have a 4th generation ipad. When I try to download this update it keeps saying its not compatible....worthless update

Good idea - poor app

Wish this thing worked. Maybe easier to print a PDF

Get yourself the paper map

Had high hopes for an app with up to date info but it's unusable on my iPhone 6+. Won't find my location so I can't use it to see where I am or where I'm going. The map looks terrible when zoomed out and good luck with the zoomed in view because you need to know exactly where you are in order to locate yourself on the map. Your device's built in maps app is definitely going to be a better alternative to this. You'll find you have to use both together anyway and all TucsonBikeways adds is a fuzzy approximation of where bike routes are. Get the paper map that the County puts out and just familiarize yourself with your planned route. TucsonBikeways is a huge disappointment and waste of tax money. Imagine if you are looking at a paper map from 15 feet away. That's what you get here and nothing more.

Very poor implementation

Cannot move the map around when zoomed in to an area. Can't even do that when zoomed completely out, either. Map is difficult to read. Resolution is somewhat fuzzy. No capabilities to plan a route. Deleted.

Doesn't even open

I had hopes for TucsonBikeways but it won't even connect to the network. I've uninstalled and reinstalled to see if I got a bad download and the results are the same.

Doesn't open

App reports cannot find network, even though iPhone is connected.

Doesn’t work with cellular data

Great idea made un-usable by the fact that I get “Network Error” every time I try to use it with cellular data (3 bar Verizon LTE signal). Works OK (but slow) on WiFi. Useless to me while out on the bike.

Still problematic

So I thought maybe iOS 9.x will alleviate it so I recently got iPhone 6s+ it still crashes... Hmmm... (reviewed in iOS 7 on iPhone 4)

iOS 10 supported device like iPad Pro or iPhone 6S+
Still needs update for iOS 10 and later since it keep telling me the network connection to PAG isn't working... get ready for iOS 11 please!

Doesn’t work

Won’t draw maps with current iOS. Seemed to work last year.

Update: finger gestures don’t seem to work. Need to use +\- for mag

Handy

The paper map is better, but TucsonBikeways is handy if you don’t have it with you. Unfortunately leaves out important info that is on the paper map; stoplights. I really need those so TucsonBikeways is of limited value to me. Other reviewers criticized zoom, but it zooms ok if you use their +- tools rather than the usual Apple gestures.

Top dog

Super helpful! Thanks PAG!
