Regarding US Direct Express App for debit card.
DirectExpress as described on App Store gives impression that more than one card acc. Can be accessed on a device ( smart ph. iPad similar ) reality is only one account per device. Why can't two accounts or more per single device be accessed. PIN numbers are still needed. Please explain what security issues are disallowing more than one accounted one device. Two cards per one device is only capable by setting up two user account on a single device which for quick change between users is not quick at all.
Also this cards web developer/card support are terrible not having much knowledge with the technology involved.
When will you change app to allow landscape mode for us that use tablet/iPad.




Maintenance

Why has DirectExpress not been updated for 2 years?? I had no problems with it and then a few months ago, when I log in it won’t give me any info and says it’s having trouble connecting to server. I believe regular updates would easily resolve this issue. I went to the website and because I have use DirectExpress for so long, I had forgotten my password. I tried to reset and it’s SAID it sent link to email, but no email. Which brings up the question of why a password for website and pin for app? The website and app is completely different, so after all the aggravation, I had to call the number, just for a balance (atm charges). Also, now I have to call, go thru a lot of crap, waste my time, waste your employees time just to reset my password for the website because my app can not connect. A simple update........

The direct express mobile app is great for checking your balance or finding transactions but I need to dispute a transaction and can’t do it on DirectExpress provided. Since I have been trying to reach you by phone for 3 days, stayed on hold for 2.5 hours without being helped, maybe you should update DirectExpress so we can actually manage our accounts so that we can do more than just look at it!!




Mobile app won’t open on phone

I ‘v had this direct express app for since almost 2017 and I have not had any problems with it up until now 2019 I just recently got problem on oct 3rd 2019 . When I did trying to download DirectExpress, so I can log my account, I was trying to access many time attempts it locked my out of my account on the mobile app I have tryed for 1 days every time my account. But I did call back it later time and many time I have done this get ahold anybody getting frustrated because I should have to call every day to get my balance my card .. it is not work it to direct express they won’t solve for direct express mobile app .. thanks for cooperation ..

This APP should have TRANSFER options

This Direct Express APP should have transfer money options to another Bank Account ,but it DOESN’T . I have to go on my Browser & go directly to the Direct Express website to transfer money . The other option to transfer money to another account would be to call ( which is a nightmare to get hold of a human) & do it. I thought that DirectExpress would be sufficient enough to do that, but it. I don’t know why. Hope the developers will see this comment & sort out why it can’t enact the money transfer option. It would save a lot of time if they put that transfer option ..




Wrong sms number for email notification!?!

I tried to set up an e-mail notification for when deposit is available and get a message that is a wrong sms! Not sure what is going on, sms applies to Text massages which there is usually a charge unless you have unlimited.
I wish I was allowed to save it as a pdf & or allowed to print it, both features would be nice. Both those features are available on iPhone however are blocked by app.
Other than the above issues, DirectExpress is easy to use, clear & lean... works nicely, I like it.




Five months after account was compromised and no one’s gotten back

I was robbed 5 months ago...., my MacBook Air stolen. I’ve set up 42 case numbers with Direct Express. I’ve asked them to shut down my online account for five months and no one‘s gotten back to me. The person who took my MacBook was able to access everything online about me. I’ve called Comerica Bank, the US fiscal treasury who handles Direct Ex., I’ve called MasterCard, and I’ve called Dir. Express.
They don’t work on the weekends for any kind of tech-support or shutting down your website if it’s compromised. They have five days to get back to you always. You can never talk to them directly. a dangerous company. I’ve been dealing with them for many years. Stay away from them.




Unable to access my account

No wonder that direct express has got a low score I had tried to access my account and I even tried to register either way it don’t matter plan and simple I didn’t that one and I don’t make sense because the card is registered and I was able to use the card to get gas and some other matters but yet I can’t access online question: why ? Answer “ I don’t knowww a daaaa don’t create something you can get high score off of if you create something and get no answer makes no sense to create something and you get something like this I have no idea how Social Security could ever work with a company that has a low score like this, makes no sense none at all.




I can’t set up a phone number or email

Every time I try to set notifications up for deposits and low balance to where I can get a text but it says I have the wrong email? So I try my email then it tells me I have the wrong sms number?? then I try phone call and it’s still telling me I have the wrong number??? I have the right number in but DirectExpress is mistaking it for something else? I have no clue but this would help me out a lot to have this feature on DirectExpress... please fix




Can’t login to account !!!!

I agree with the first review. I can’t login to my account. I tried everything and the same messages came up. I had Direct Express for around five years now. I had a problem on my phone and it was deleted I then tried installing it again and couldn’t open to login. I then thought it was my card and requested a new one, and it did the same thing. I am really fed up with this. What do you do? You can’t call customer service because you can’t get through. I’m ready to open another bank account just for my check. Wake up this app what is the problem??? (Furious in Florida!!!)




Not working!!

DirectExpress keeps telling me my card number I entered is not recognized,my security password is invalid! It was working fine a few days ago and now I can’t log into my account! I uninstalled and reinstalled DirectExpress and nothing’s working! I called customer service and they said they can’t find my account in DirectExpress and they put in a service ticket but the people won’t get to me for 5 days! Whatever you guys did to DirectExpress fix it and put it back the way it use to be please!! As I’m reading the other reviews it seems like something similar is happening to everyone! I’m rating DirectExpress zero stars but I’m forced to put one!!




Nothing works: frustrating!

Less than 1 star. Not only does DirectExpress not work, nothing works; the phone, the website and DirectExpress . Their entire network fails. The one time I did get through on the phone, the operator was eating and saying umm every other word. After that it was busy signals for the rest of the day.

After perfectly and precisely putting my data into DirectExpress it continuously stated that I was not registered after many attempts.

Website same. Many problems with logins and email retrieval and pass word resets and lockouts because they can’t get it right.




Hackers in Charge

Someone used my social security number n private information to start an online account with my mobile app. I been missing money off my account for years. The mobile app was supposed to be blocked. It strangely became unblocked with multiple cards showing up on this online app that I didn’t start or gave anyone else permission to start. I have called several times to secure my account. I have gotten the messages of call back later, or they will call me back. I never get called back. I’m told my cards has been compromised.




The card does not work at gas pumps !

Really not happy I have to walk in each gas station to pay as the card does not work when you enter the card at pump..Yuchi’s...get with the time!

Also I can’t set up any alerts to deposits or low balance. Have tried everything...,very very aggravating!

Thinking I just might have to forward all money to a workable more convenient card. Thank-you, Stacey Whiting




It won’t let me set alerts on email or phone

DirectExpress won’t let me set up any text alerts for my phone number. It says wrong notification email when I enter my number. It also says wrong notification number when I enter my email. Would have given it five stars if this would work properly!
