I’ve paid to upgrade etc. Lovely little app except you have to first open RemindMeFaster to add a reminder. The default reminder app lets you Force Touch the icon. Not being able to do this in RemindMeFaster really limits RemindMeFaster ’s value, and means it actually takes longer to add reminders than the default app. I find myself never using it anymore.

Dear Remind Faster App Developer Team,
I am writing to provide feedback on RemindMeFaster 's functionality, particularly with regard to setting recurring reminders. While RemindMeFaster works flawlessly when asked to set a reminder for a particular time, I have noticed that it does not work properly when asked to set up repeated or recurring reminders.
For example, when I tried to set a reminder for laundry every Friday at 3pm until July 1st, RemindMeFaster only set a reminder for the coming Friday at 3pm, but did not set reminders for every Friday until July 1st.
I believe that being able to set up recurring reminders is a very important feature for many users of your app, and I wanted to bring this issue to your attention. I hope that you can find a fix for this issue soon so that users can benefit from the full functionality of RemindMeFaster .
Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. I appreciate your efforts to provide a high-quality app that meets the needs of your users.

I am a big fan of Federicco Vitccia (MacStories) and rely heavily on his recommendations. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with his recommendation of Remind Me. RemindMeFaster is well thought out and works well but it isn't a replacement for Reminders. I create quite a few repeat reminders and there isn't a way to do that with this Remind Me, how disappointing. I don't want to have to create my reminders in different app's, it is very unproductive. Hopefully, the developer will add repeat reminders in a future release.

I’ve had huge bugs with Reminders since an upgrade 2 years ago. The keyboard freezes, there is like a 1 minute lag before a list opens, etc. I can’t find a suitable replacement yet after downloading a dozen reminder apps. Either they don’t have categories, don’t have ability to set repeating reminders or with one that was almost perfect, had teeny tiny text. RemindMeFaster lets me set a reminder pretty quickly. I can set a new reminder in about 15 seconds vs 1-2 minutes or more on my hopelessly buggy and frustrating app. The only reason it’s not five stars is because you can’t set repeating reminders, so I set the reminder here but still have to edit in my reminders to make it repeat. But at least it’s in there before I forget what I need to be reminded about.

I love RemindMeFaster so much. I’m constantly looking for the fastest way to get thoughts out of my brain. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is because I would love the ability to a tag from RemindMeFaster . Unless I’m missing something, as it stands now you need to go into the reminders app after an item has been added in order to put a tag on it.

I really like RemindMeFaster. I have an iPhone 13 mini and it's a pain to create reminders because its screen is so tiny and I often fat-finger my reminders (the icons in the menu are pretty tiny). RemindMeFaster does at great job at reducing the friction when I need to rapidly log tasks. My problem is RemindMeFaster misses a couple features that would make it perfect. There is no way to add tags to reminders (which is a main aspect of my workflow) and there's no way to create recurring reminders. Other than that, I'd highly reccomend RemindMeFaster to people who don't like Siri or Reminders' UI.

I would really like to be able to change the reminder single-tap buttons. For example, “Tue 9am” (where “Tue” is tomorrow’s day-of-the-week) would be much more useful than just arbitrarily adding “+24h” to whatever time it is now. There is a *lot* of empty screen real estate on the bottom right, so there is plenty of room at the bottom for more “quick buttons”. (To set a quick reminder, I just need a title and don’t need 70% of the screen to be empty.) Just my 2¢...
I find myself having to go in to the custom reminder screen all the time because of this.
Otherwise, this is a super-convenient way of reminding me to do things when I think of them!

A quick way to add reminder, and reminder can be snoozed from Pebble watch. Another fast reminder app did not have snooze option from watch.
If Reminder Me Faster had widget support it would be 5 stars. Currently I'm using its URL scheme (this app://) to launch it from Magic Launcher.

nice and simple app that’s just what I need which is quickly add reminders
Very few applications integrate with the iOS reminders feature. However, this is one that does allowing you to send reminders and receive them on all other apps, you may have that integrates. .
One feature I would like to see is ability to double the preset time. In other words if I press +1 Hour twice , I would like it to set it to two hours.
This would essentially double the preset feature as of know there are three.

At first I thought this was a stand-alone reminders application that only integrated with the default Reminders, but turns out it actually relies on it. I deleted RemindMeFaster but don’t get me wrong, this is great for people who just wanna type and hit enter to submit a reminder. I’m just not that type of person.

The hardest thing about software development is achieving a solution that meets the needs of all users. That’s why Apple’s App Store is brilliant. RemindMeFaster here is adding power-user features to Apple’s native Reminders app. You see, I think Apple designed their Reminders app for intuitive workflow, which unfortunately has the side affect of slowing down power users.
I’m running a trial right now to see if I don’t need to use Todoist anymore. Apple Reminders overhaul seems to have all the features I need except for quick entry (particularly related to timed notifications). RemindMeFaster here is getting there.
A couple feature requests:
-Customizable set of time buttons
—e.g. tomorrow 9:30, Saturday 11am, Monday 10:30am
-Not sure it’s possible, but what about quick buttons for the lists so I could choose the list after typing in the task?

I would love to see iOS shortcuts support added. But, otherwise, RemindMeFaster is easily among the top 5 most polished and intuitive app experiences of the 1,000+ I've used/tried over the years.
But, my workflow often has me setting reminders based on web pages and other shareable things. I know I can just build a shortcut for the official reminders app (which I have) but typically I'm looking to set date/time for the reminder as I'm creating the reminder, at which point I always miss the ease-of-use of the this app interface.
Two other suggestions:
1 - would love to have URLs pasted into notes automatically moved to the URL field of the reminder. Otherwise, they aren't clickable in the reminders app. That or I'd love to have the option for that input.
2 - RemindMeFaster's design and UX would work very well for a Notes app companion, too (IMHO)

I heard about RemindMeFaster on some tech podcast and I love it. For $0.99 it adds natural language processing to reminders. SO helpful in reducing the number of clicks it takes to create a new reminder.
The only feature request I have is the ability to add tags (unless it's there and I missed it!). I rely on tags to organize my tasks into smart folders so tags would complete RemindMeFaster for me! Thanks.

This is probably my most used app. It’s the quickest way to add a reminder. Open your phone tap RemindMeFaster type the reminder with a date boom done get on with your day. All my reminders end up in the Apple reminders app and I don’t have to worry about them. Can’t live without this.

As someone who struggles with ADD/ADHD, things often slip from my mind almost as soon as they appear. ANY friction between thinking of something and having it on my to-do list makes it less likely that that thing or idea will get remembered and addressed, and Remind Me Faster is the best tool I've found for elminating friction between my brain and my to do list. RemindMeFaster has made a significant difference in my life.
Remind Me Faster looks great, is super fast and lightweight, and it seems to be rock-solid and reliable, even using it on an M1 Mac. I super appreciate the small but high-value in app purchases, especially the different icons. The developer has been kind and responsive. I cannot recommend RemindMeFaster enough for anyone who uses a to-do system based on Reminders.

Hi! I only got RemindMeFaster 24 hr ago and I LOVE it so much already! I would love to find a “30 minute” feature along with the 1, 6, & 24 hr features! A repeat reminder option would be great too! Plus, if there was some way to view the set reminders that would be wonderful as well.
by Kdubnyc
Since the only way to contact the developer seems to be via twitter, I'll leave this gear. I love RemindMeFaster , but one thing I'd love to see is to be able to add "custom" locations to reminders, like Apple's Reminders app does. They don't always fit neatly into pre-saved ones.

This has been by far the best integration with the native reminders app by far! So it works well with all my Apple decides.
The only feature that would be nice to have would be if you could edit the default time slots by typing the time or date in just like how it’s done in FatastiCal. Would make this the perfect reminders app.

Apple’s Reminders app has come such a long way that you can do almost anything with it. The thing is, most people don’t know that. The one thing it’s missing, and the thing essential to ensuring you use a productivity app, is how quickly you can dump your brain to it. This cuts the time it takes to enter a reminder in half, often more. It launches instantly from the Lock Screen. It’s a perfect aesthetic match with the Reminders app. Just a great, affordable app all around. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

I have been looking for an app like this for a year now, and finally just found it today. It works EXACTLY as it should. It’s so fast. The entire app is like 5mb in size - super lightweight and breezy. The extra options for natural language work well. Thank you!

A lot of times I find myself needing to setup a quick reminder without wanting to get bogged down with menus and options. RemindMeFaster makes it so easy to setup a quick reminder without interrupting whatever else I’m working on. RemindMeFaster + GoodTask is an amazing reminders setup and I would highly recommend!

If you use Reminders you need RemindMeFaster. I have been trying for months to accomplish what RemindMeFaster does using Siri Shortcuts and its just not possible.
The ability to quickly and seamlessly add Reminders without any friction is what RemindMeFaster does.
Thank you for creating this companion app.

I've been searching for an an app like Remind Me Faster for over three years, and it's finally here! As someone with ADHD, the default Reminders app wasn’t working for me—especially with the lack of snooze options and the slow, clunky interface. I tried everything: Siri, other apps, even building my own shortcuts on iOS, but nothing was quite right.
Then I heard about *Remind Me Faster* on a podcast, and it's exactly what I’ve been trying to create! It lets you quickly add reminders by simply opening RemindMeFaster and typing—no friction. I love the intuitive gestures to switch lists,
But the absolute best ADHD-friendly feature is the live activity that pops up on the lock screen if you get distracted mid-reminder. It saves me from forgetting what I was trying to not forget in the first place!
If you use Apple's Reminders app at all, Remind Me Faster is a must-have. Thanks for such a game-changing app!

I love RemindMeFaster! This is app is perfect to add quick tasks, reminders, events, notes to my main ToDo platform in just seconds. It is very easy to use and I really enjoy the clean design! Great stuff and highly recommend 👍🏽

Needs to be able to add tags. Otherwise good. The developer responded to my concern about tags and said it is not currently possible due to Apple’s developer software. I hope Apple gets on the ball…

I love the simplicity of RemindMeFaster. It’s not designed to manage tasks, and that’s a good thing. I love being able to add tasks and their relevant info quickly. The developer is also responsive to requests!

Thanks for making this application to fill in the gaps of where Apple cut corners. Hopefully in time Apple will give developers like yourself more freedom to dig deeper into such utility apps that share databases.

RemindMeFaster has a well built interface and good looking design. It's got just the right amount of utility for my needs and helped me reduce some of the digital clutter on my phone. Definitely recommend.

Super fast and convenient to add reminders. I’ve been using it all the time to add reminders for the past year at least and it hasn’t failed me yet. This is as good as it gets.

I love RemindMeFaster. It’s a great addition to using the ios reminders app because it gives me a way to add new reminders quickly, easily, and faster than the actual ios reminders app.

This is RemindMeFaster I've been missing. Fixed Apple's biggest Reminders problem. I would like to request two small changes though.
1. Notification widget
2. An option for the default times.

Although I like the functionality of Apple’s reminders app, it has been clunky when adding new reminders since the last redesign.
Your app is brilliant! I can enter reminders instantly! Thank you for this great app

I've been using "Remind Me Faster" for over a year now and it's been a game-changer! RemindMeFaster 's design is sleek and inviting, making it a joy to use daily.
