Magic Launcher with Widgets Reviews

I purchased the Pro version within minutes of downloading MagicLauncherwithWidgets. Half of these do not work, and I do not have the Pro version options after purchasing. Also tries to charge me again for family members on my family sharing, though states “supports up to 6 on family sharing”.

I have emailed 3 times from MagicLauncherwithWidgets itself, and via email to the address listed here, a total of 4 times now. (The ones from email come back as “Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender”). Attempted contact through social media accounts listed in app, and states “away”. It’s terrible to think that one must go through all of this for a purchased item, yet still, get not one reply from any source!

If and when I’m contacted back, I would possibly change the rating, as there are many options (or so it states... Who knows, as some I can’t use without purchasing again?!). It’s apparent that a lot of work was put into MagicLauncherwithWidgets ... It would be really nice if half as much work was put into emails/support.

I went ahead and bought the pro version after having the free app and liking it so much. Definitely worth the money! I use the I’m steps all the time and it helps me get out. I love the way it sets up phone calls. And I absolutely love that they have a fake call that you can use to help you get out of difficult circumstances. Lifesaver!

I really like the features of MagicLauncherwithWidgets, but one major feature for me is missing - the ability to set up group texts. I mistakingly assumed it had this feature, since most of the apps like this one do and only noticed after purchasing the upgrade that it didn’t. Disappointed, but hoping that feature will come in the future and then I can use MagicLauncherwithWidgets.

Especially if you're like me and don't want a lot of home screens and icons everywhere. Quick access to most used apps. 💯

BUT, IT IS such a great idea and app that I'll still using it. II did hope that some day it becomes more fluid in its purpose, but that day will come eventually.;)

Does not work with 15.3.1 on the iPadPro. Can’t successfully install and add widget. Adding them in MagicLauncherwithWidgets is no problem, but it fails when trying add group to a widget from the launcher app. Bought the pro version. Will be getting a refund.

Worked great with previous versions but has not been updated for the new phones.

Very essential apps are missing such as Chase bank and others. I have asked month ago to add many apps but nothing change until now, I regret why I paid for the pro version.

It's very convenient for me since I have a lot of application.

Notability won’t open, some apps can’t be added.

Both iOS13 and iOS14 cannot config quick setting. Error message is "Cannot find the shortcut Open Settings"

Listening to Pandora on Bluetooth gets stopped every time I go to MagicLauncherwithWidgets . Instant dealbreaker.

Do not purchase. No support, no updates and no bug fixes.

Lots of potential; not there yet.

Buggy and a bit confusing. There seems to be no real tutorial on how a lot of the functions of MagicLauncherwithWidgets works. I’ve basically had to spend time toggling setting to figure out just what MagicLauncherwithWidgets even does.

During this I’ve come across some very annoying bugs. For example, I primarily got MagicLauncherwithWidgets for the widget that allowed me to pin apps to my widget for quick access and to de-clutter my home screen. 4 apps fit across a row but when you add a 5th app to go on the next row it’s cut off. You can still click MagicLauncherwithWidgets but only half of it shows. If you add a few more apps that row will fill out and not be cut off. But still kind of annoying.

Having apps show up at specific times in the widget is also great, but the navigation to do this is very confusing. Still this is likely my favorite feature I’ve figured out so far. It’s nice to not have my MBTA ticket app on my screen all day now that I can set it to just show up during my morning and evening commute. The annoying part is you’re only given 4 adjustable time ranges to work with. So if I want to se MagicLauncherwithWidgets to show “Morning 7-8” and “Evening 5-6” I’ve used up two of my available definable time slots. I can set other apps to abide by those time slots but I have a limited number of other tome variable I can set.

I’d like to see more time blocks available
To play with as well.

At this point I don’t see much reason to upgrade to the paid version. I’ve yet to hit a block that convinces me a feature I want will be in the upgrade.
