I have used Skip regularly over the last year as I am constantly living out of hotels for work. Never had a problem until a few days ago when suddenly I haven’t been able to make any orders. I keep getting a message that the transaction can’t be processed, and after talking to my bank it has been made clear any problem must be on the vendors side. Problem is; Skip’s customer support is nearly impossible to get in contact with. Like maddeningly difficult to get in contact with. If as a customer, you value customer service, don’t even bother with this trash service.

Delivery guy took 1 and1/2 hours to deliver food. Food was terrible so I returned it to the restaurant myself. The restaurant told me to get my refund through skip. Skip would not refund me the full amount. Spent 40 minutes on the chat. Sooo not impressed!

Hello. I order from you guys all the time and service has always been really good but today I ordered KFC AND I watched the driver pick up my order head towards me and 10 minutes away they stopped and sat there for nearly an hour with my food before they started moving again. My food was cold and soggy by the time I got it and the stickers they use to seal the top of the bags were both unsealed and open... needless to say I don't know exactly what happened here but im not eating it... I would very much appreciate it if I can get the same meal again free of charge. Today even would be nice if possible because I still haven't eaten. Thank you for your time and please get back to me as soon as possible.

I received notification that the Order was delivered, but when I checked there was nothing there. I tried to contact support, but the chat box never came up despite several attempts. I called the company contact number, but the message said they no longer take complaint calls. BRAVO. How do you expect anyone to report a problem ? I living in an apt. bldg. The driver didn't contact me to get buzzed in (as per delivery instructions). I was charged for an order I never received. This is the second time this has happened. Since you don't have a way for me to contact you, then I'll be looking for another delivery service. Not cool.

I complained previously concerning the delivery people not knocking on our door loudly before putting down the food and leaving. I placed an order on 2022-05-23 (perhaps 2022-05-24; it may have passed midnight) and it was taking extremely long for our food to arrive; some allowance was given due to it being a holiday. I was about to call Pizza Pizza to see how long the order was going to take to get delivered. My wife suggested I check outside the door before I called the restaurant. I went to the door, opened it, and found our food outside the door in the middle of the corridor. The food was cold, and sweating inside a plastic bag. We will be actively looking to find another delivery service, Uber or Door Dash in the future to provide our deliveries. We do not enjoy eating cold, deep fried foods, and cold pizza. peter/Ursula.

My order was never received. I called the restaurant “Red Swan Pizza” and got no where. Surely there should be some way the restaurant can contact skip the dishes and the drivers to see what happening. I would like someone to contact me. Below is my order I would like refunded. Respected sir I have been trying to explain my incident ...I have only job. . that has losed want to fell not comfortable to my life .I have kid to buy food The incident was not true ... I delivered my food on time until some brutal situation happened . I have been doing skip the dishes ... three years the situation never happened to me.. Unprofessional customer service

This will be my last time ordering with you guys, but I suggest if you're going to call customers and give them an option to replace an order, understand that the customer would then have to go back on the internet or app to search through the menu. I was told to "hurry up a bit". Originally I asked customer service what my options are as far as a drink replacement because that’s the option I was given when the call started and the guy clearly offered a refund only because he didn’t know the beverage options himself. I asked twice because I was really wanting something to drink and he just repeated the refund options. My phone conversation with your customer service was only for 3 minutes and I was being rushed to figure it out within a minute of getting on the phone. Proper customer service will allow people the few minutes they need to figure out something like that. I shouldn't be expected to have the menu memorized right when I'm called. SkipTheDishes or JustEat can rebrand itself into as many names as they want. If the service is not professional they will continue to get these horrible ratings. I was so shocked someone would even dare rush a CUSTOMER within A MINUTE of getting on the phone with them. It’s not my fault you guys don’t pull up menus for situations like this like OTHER delivery services do and it’s also not my fault that I have to find a replacement because the store doesn’t have the beverage!

Crappy

I had ordered food from McDonalds and they had made me wait for over 30 minutes. I thought ok that can happen and waited. I had ordered around $38 worth of food. The order shows up over 30 minutes after and I open it to see that it is completely messed up. Nothing is the same and it is just messed up. It looked about $16 worth of food at the MAXIMUM. That is literally half of the price! At this point I was done and just wanted a refund. Well what do you know? You would at least think that the customer service would make up for the stupidity but no. I talked with the incompetent customer service and they replied every 10-15 minutes. And now you would think the replies would help but again no. It was absolutely no help to the problem. After some time I was told my refund would go back to my bank account after five days. Five days. Are you serious? Are you kidding me? Are you playing jokes with me? First my order is messed up, then that makes me realize “oh you already had gotten double the worth of food’s price because I have to pay before hand”, then I have to deal with an incompetent customer service and for the icing on the cake, I have to wait five days for my refund to go back to my account. Thanks for wasting my time today! And I loved getting my patience tested and getting scammed! No wonder why post-mates and door-dash has a better rating then you!

Horrible methods

This company let me place an order, saying it would arrive in approximately 72 minutes. A little long but I can handle it on a busy Friday night. They then charge me for my order on my credit card, and suddenly a notification popped up saying “delivery drivers are not available in your area, check back again later” What THE HECK? Why let me place an order if you have no way to actually get my food delivered. And check back when, in three hours? tomorrow? In five days? I ordered it because I have a family who is hungry in the next hour, not in ten hours or however long you want me to wait around and keep checking back hoping maybe I can get it sometime someday. And now conveniently it takes 3-5 days for the charge to go back to my card, because YOU BET I cancelled and ordered directly through the restaurant. Just had to go pick it up myself but it was ready in 15 minutes. Sure delivery is convenient if you have a lot going on and a family, but this whole experience was kind of ridiculous and I’m deleting the app the minute I get my money back from this order.
