We have used this app for a while. We wanted to upgrade to get more prizes. There were already problems with the app but thought by buying the upgraded version they would be fixed. However, it’s worse! My kids get through brushing and then the screen turns blue-nothing. You can get out and go back in but then you don’t get points. I wrote to the company and face heard nothing. Don’t waste your money on this app.

I’ve looked for a lot of apps to help my 4 yo with brushing his teeth. There are so many things I love about this- the “mirror” for visual feedback, catchy song, positive reinforcement for accuracy of brushing and ability to earn prizes are all fantastic. I love that I don’t need a specialized toothbrush or really anything else to help him learn good brushing habits. I’m only giving it 2 starts because I don’t think the app has been updated in a while. I tried to create an account so my son could continue to make progress and save stars he earned for bigger prizes, but when I try to type, the keyboard doesn’t work and I’m unable to create an account. I would give it 5 stars if they could resolve this issue!

If you’re not setting up an account, you can probably have it work fine. The problem comes when personalizing, the keyboard screen will not drop away, making finishing the personalization steps impossible. Seems like a potentially easy fix? But the last update was seven months ago… Otherwise the kids like it just fine, it really helps them get all their teeth and stay brushing for the full time.
