Wast of money

QuickRecordAudioRecorder stop working immediately and doesn’t save automatically in the background. Disappointed to buy QuickRecordAudioRecorder.

iPad

How do I get an external mic to work through your app on my iPad...

Very user-unfriendly

QuickRecordAudioRecorder has a lot of potential utility, but is very unintuitive and user unfriendly. Not much help from Customer Service either

Works great but needs a few things for the watch

QuickRecordAudioRecorder works well on the phone and watch, but it is definitely lacking on the watch side by not providing a 'glance' or 'complication' in order to quickly access the recorder.
I also tried to send this suggestion as feedback through my iPhone only to have QuickRecordAudioRecorder crash immediately.

Feedback

I’ve missed the audio recording app from Apple that they pulled off QuickRecordAudioRecorder Store and discontinued. This is a great alternative — and has tags!

Is there any way to connect a Bluetooth mic like Mikme to your app? I’d love to record Hi Res files of me playing guitar with the Mikme Blackgold model in particular. Or at least import the files I record on my Mikme and/or have saved to iCloud from their app. Their app doesn’t have the ability to tag (oddly) or import photos to identify the files (can only take a picture), which becomes a huge shortcoming when a person is recording a massive amount of files. If I could somehow record with their mic using your app and/or import the files and tag from there, I’d use your app exclusively for recording, playback, and organizing my files.

Would also be helpful to have video capabilities in your app like the Mikme app offers so I can watch myself practicing guitar and see myself fretting notes.

Also, on another subject, will you be publishing Joybox on iOS anytime soon? Looks really cool! I saw it is on the web, but I don’t think it’s possible to use it offline as described as a web app. Perhaps it’s just a GitHub project or preview right now?

Accessible and easy to use

Great app. Accessible with voiceover.

Tagging is indispensable!

This is a fantastic alternative to the Apple voice memo app. This is because it allows you to tag your memos, and to search by multiple tags.

As a songwriter, this means I can tag a voice memo with the key, relative tempo, time signature, mood, etc. so when I think of a new idea, I can search by these criteria and find other ideas I've recorded the past that might go with them.

Before downloading QuickRecordAudioRecorder, I had a totally on organized database of about 1000 different musical ideas. It was nearly impossible to figure out which ones were a witch, and which ones might go with each other. Tagging makes this so easy!

I would love it if QuickRecordAudioRecorder would also allow me to import— then I could dump in all my old memos and make the switch away from the Apple voice memo app for good.

The only feature the Apple app has that this one does not is the ability to add more audio to the end of an existing voice memo. This allows me to keep all my recordings on a single song or idea on the same voice memo for better organization. I emailed the developer about adding this feature, and he/she was intrigued and seemed open to it. I got a response within a few hours. Great support!

Absolutely accessible

This is absolutely accessible. Easy to use with VoiceOver, and very simple. You can select between high, medium, or low quality formats, and you can record on the fly by performing a magic tap (2-finger doubletap) all in all, no problems, can’t complain.

Wast of money

QuickRecordAudioRecorder stop working immediately and doesn’t save automatically in the background. Disappointed to buy QuickRecordAudioRecorder.

Doesn't work on lock screen

I bought this because the description says you can pause and continue from the lock screen. So, I tested it. While it continues to record in lock screen, there's no way to pause it. Tapping the pause button does nothing. It just continues recording. You'd have to unlock the phone first to pause it.

Please help

Hi developer, i tried to contact you via the send feedback button but QuickRecordAudioRecorder crashed every time. The recordings aren't showing up in icloud even though QuickRecordAudioRecorder has permission to share into icloud. What should I do?

It can record in one tap or even automatically, sync to multiple iOS devices with iCloud, capture in High/Medium/Low quality, record directly from the Apple Watch microphone, share via email, and open in other apps.

Quick Record is unmatched when it comes to organizing recordings, cloud sync, and capturing without distraction.

If you choose to use iCloud, there are powerful syncing features that allow you to access your recordings on multiple devices with zero effort; all recordings are uploaded automatically and can be downloaded from another device with just one tap.

Record music, lectures, meetings, wildlife, interviews, ideas, and anything else using the device in your hands.
