Remote Battery Level Reviews

I have a watch series 1 and when adding the complication to my watch face it never displays properly or for any long period of time. When I try to reset it, it still doesn’t work properly. $1.99❔cmon now. I had RemoteBatteryLevel before the upgrade and it was fair for what it was, but now, not so much. I’ve been had. 😐

Love the idea, but RemoteBatteryLevel just doesn't work. I am quite tech savvy and have tried every combination of notification settings I can find. I contacted the company and they gave me advice on this, and noted that it can take up to 20 minutes to get a notification. The notifications show just fine on my phone, but never go to the watch no matter what I try. Hopefully this can be fixed as it would be really a nice thing to have.

Apple Watch, series 2 is not showing and iPhone X is showing again from my iPad but it shows from my iPhone X again. Sorry, my Apple Watch is serial 3 not serial 2 since it worked but still not working again since yesterday 😢same for iPad Pro,

I just paid for a year subscription and the complication doesn't refresh unless touched. It said every 15 minutes it should refresh but after an entire nights sleep, it still shows the same thing. Now the iPhone app won't refresh either.

The advertisement picture shows the phone and watch battery ‘s life on the phone... I wish I had a picture to show my screen don’t show the watch battery on my phone. Also, I don’t likes how on the watch itself the phone’s battery and the watch’s battery don’t show up at the sand time unless you press the battery level each time you want to view the life. So I will not be renewing my subscription. And it’s actually an app available that does what I thought RemoteBatteryLevel was and it’s a one time price that’s very affordable too. Big difference.

I liked the concept of having remote battery status for iPhone to include wifi/signal status and alerts for battery level. However RemoteBatteryLevel fails in these areas. I spent the 99 cents to upgrade but the alerts still do not work and the signal status does not show LTE frequencies (only 4G). I hope an update fixes these for the Apple watch. Wish I had my 99 cents back.

I’ve no idea if RemoteBatteryLevel actually does what it promises — it’s so in your face about subscribing(!) that I was pelted with two ads and then two solicitations to upgrade RemoteBatteryLevel (to remove ads) before I could even make my way around RemoteBatteryLevel . Why does a battery status indicator app require a monthly or WEEKLY subscription? I can’t even imagine, but it’s bad actors like this that have turned everyone against legitimate subscription-based apps. And shoving the offer right up my eyeballs the first time I even glance at RemoteBatteryLevel ... get out of here. Even if you offered a one-time payment option, you lost me completely with that garbage.

Anyway, I deleted it in less time than it took me to review it. Just pick up your other device and look at it to check its battery life I guess.

Only complaint is RemoteBatteryLevel disconnects from the watch with cycles possibly with restarts of the phone or if RemoteBatteryLevel is not open all the time rather than reconnecting through blue tooth ..also alerts are not consistent with low particularly.. mostly if not all the time .. would be perfect if we could get sound alert option...

I was using the free app and some how I was charged for the upgrade which is no better than the free one When you open RemoteBatteryLevel it doesn’t tell you the charging state of your watch I mess around with pushing buttons and then sometimes it will show your watch

I used to like RemoteBatteryLevel. Even paid for it! But over the years and the updates, it just kept getting progressively worse. Now even though I paid for it it won’t even show my Apple Watch. Just gonna go ahead and delete it since battery life is so good now that I don’t need to be notified when my stuff is done

I added the remotebattery complication to my apple watch but it just shows a question mark where the percentage should be. If you click it it opens RemoteBatteryLevel to a page that shows the battery level of your phone and watch, but I got RemoteBatteryLevel specifically so I could know my battery level at a glance, not by clicking and opening RemoteBatteryLevel . It’s a shame but I had to download a different battery watch app that shows the percentage in the complication. Total shame because I liked the look of this one a lot, too bad it doesn’t work the way it’s advertised. I’m giving it 2 stars for just being a good idea.

New update doesn’t update iPhone battery percentage on iPhone. Watch complication seems to be working.

RemoteBatteryLevel is solid and very helpful if you want to check your phones battery without taking it out of your pocket or bag.... I also assume it uses less battery than checking the phones screen but whatever, it's a good utility app.

Is this a beautiful app? No. Does it do what it needs to? Yes! I often charge my phone in another room, so it’s handy to check the charging process on my watch periodically. Thanks!

RemoteBatteryLevel is accurate and convenient in a situation where you're phone is in the other room or near by charging and you would like to check its progress. 5 stars all the way for apps that function as intended and expected.

I use RemoteBatteryLevel on an iPhone 11 it doesn’t give me the correct battery reading on the home screen when I touch RemoteBatteryLevel it changes to the correct battery reading. I wish it was accurate when I just saw it on the home screen. Love RemoteBatteryLevel otherwise

I’m not sure why there are not more reviews on RemoteBatteryLevel. It works quite well and is very useful. I use it primarily to check the battery level on my iPhone. Occasionally, the widgets on the watch face will not update when it is supposed to but clicking on the widget on the watch will open an option to refresh if this happens.

I have tried several other battery apps and this is by far the best.

The apps battery level and network readings work great. But the upgraded alert functions don't work.

I’ve used RemoteBatteryLevel for about three years, and it’s always done exactly what I needed. I wanted an app that would show me my iPhone and Watch battery levels in one small complication on my Watch, and this was the only I could find. In a tiny amount of space, it shows the readings for both. It also lets you set custom notifications for battery levels of your choice, other than the 10% and 20% built in for the iPhone. For instance, I like to have a notification at 30% so I have more flexibility in when I charge it. In three years, I only had one minor problem (getting two notifications instead of one). I got an immediate reply from them, and a week later they released a new version that fixed the problem. Highly recommended.
