Battery Charge Alarm Reviews

I wrote a review saying it was’t reliable anymore after last update. But I refuse to use other app so I tried everything to fix it. If the alarm is not going off at your desire % just delete BatteryChargeAlarm and restart the phone and install it again. Do it in that order because at first I deleted BatteryChargeAlarm download it again then restarted and didn’t work.

The user interface for BatteryChargeAlarm looked quite promising. It doesn’t deliver. A lot of my battery usage was attributable to BatteryChargeAlarm. It seems to be constantly monitoring the battery power instead of occasionally reacting to a timer event and seeing what the current percentage is. The alarm does not work if you put BatteryChargeAlarm in the background it seems to be constantly needing the screen displayed. I have seen some conversation that there are shortcuts and home app customization that would allow you to use a smart receptacle and control the phone charging between lower and upper limits. It sure looks like it would be possible to build an app that was less showy and much more useful.

Before I found this great little app I used to estimate with the alarm clock on my iPad and iPhone and set an alarm. This automates it, makes it perfect, and it’s very adjustable and a little bit customizable. I paid to remove the ads and this is the best dollar l spent on an app in while. This can really save your battery avoid those full charge cycles.

BatteryChargeAlarm is such a great app. Thanks to the battery app, I finally figured out that a lot of chargers do not provide enough power to charge my iPhone 11 quickly. I have since purchased better chargers, and given away the old ones I had been using with my iPhone 6.

The only thing I’d add in the future is different charging screen designs. If that were a paid upgrade option, I’d gladly upgrade.

I was looking for a long time to find a battery app that could help me turn my charger off when my battery reached 80%. This does exactly what I need it do. If you want to keep something simple and be pragmatic with battery usage, this is your app!

BatteryChargeAlarm only works when you stay on BatteryChargeAlarm screen. And you have to set the alarm every time. Also, BatteryChargeAlarm shows 2 ad videos at the beginning of BatteryChargeAlarm , it just makes it even more unattractive to use. I wish it didn't have video ads (though I would have accepted banner bar ads at the top or bottom). And I wish BatteryChargeAlarm worked in the background and I didn't have to set the alarm every single time.

I like to use a battery charged alarm to notify me when the battery is charged so my battery will last longer. BatteryChargeAlarm has to be kept in the foreground to work and you have to push set alarm every time you plug it in. I have a similar app on a different phone that I set up once and each time I plug it in to charge, without even turning on my phone, it works. Too much hassle for this one.

I got BatteryChargeAlarm because I wanted to make sure my battery wouldn’t be affected by constantly charging over 80%. Unfortunately it just doesn’t work. I set up an alarm several times for BatteryChargeAlarm to warn me when my phone reached an 80% charge. However, I did not want to leave my phone unlocked and open while it was charging so I locked it and the alarm did not go off. BatteryChargeAlarm is worth nothing if you have to leave BatteryChargeAlarm open completely with your phone unlocked the whole time.

Alarm never worked consistently causing over charging. To get alarm to work after it quit, you had to turn off phone and restart it. Alarm would work for a then quit again. Inconsistent app.
Other than working sporadically, constantly having to monitor to avoid over charging, and sound level changing on its own every so often, not a bad app.
No longer use - deleted app and moved on.

BatteryChargeAlarm seems to be doing the job just fine. However, the alarm is really on the quiet side. I probably would not have heard it had I been outside of this room. On the other hand, some users may not want a loud alarm. I suggest a loudness control, so that users can choose.

Just the thing I needed. Not overly impressed with iOS 13 battery optimization. Has not worked out so far for me as advertised. BatteryChargeAlarm on the other hand lives up to what it says it can do and I can decide exactly where to set it.

Works wonderful as desired. Alarm is even notifying when my iPhone is locked.
Can you please show the battery % and time (very dim) when the cellphone is charging and locked. Thanks

This is the best iPhone battery charger and alarm that I have found, it really works. But after update it won’t stay on top and open so it over charges.

The apps very good but it would be nice if you can make a alarm of when your decreasing without having the need to charge

On watch, can only do audio alert over paired Bluetooth device. I want to make my phone alert and/or alert through the watch speaker.

I paid to have the ads removed and they’re still there.

Nice app that works as advertised. The choice of default alarm sounds is, however, very limited. Would get 5 stars if a future version allowed the selection of iOS ringtones.

App works fine, but you have to pay to remove ads in order to prevent tracking. As much as I want developers to be paid for their work, hiding privacy options behind a paywall is below scummy. I highly don’t recommend BatteryChargeAlarm; there are better options available that don’t track you and sell your info.

The alarm feature tells me I am at full and I can get after it and not continuously checking charge capacity.

I would like a low battery alarm not so much a charging alarm. Is there a free version of a low battery alarm that’s dependable and works in the background? Will this developer add that feature to BatteryChargeAlarm?

Yea it does it’s job but it always plays an ad right before you set the alarm so that’s really annoying. I didn’t have the signal when I tried setting it up while charging my phone so I couldn’t have the alarm on. Just don’t get this one and get BatteryChargeAlarm battery alarm, it doesn’t have ads play before you ca set it up.

I set everything up yesterday when I first downloaded it, and it worked fine. Unfortunately when I plugged my iPhone in today it didn’t work. If you have to manually set it up each time you plug in your phone to charge, it’s not worth having.

Would really be nice if this worked in the background. Seams like everything else can work in background, why not BatteryChargeAlarm?
