Absolutely horrible!

UBSWealthManagement is just the worst!! No way to see how any of your accounts have performed other than intraday and prior day. That is completely useless for most of your users. We want to see how our accounts have done over months and years not just today. You can see how each individual fund has done over those periods but it is buried deep in this lousy app. We have complained about UBSWealthManagement for the past 2-3 years to our UBS advisors but without any change whatsoever. Edward Jones has a much better app as does Fidelity and Vanguard. UBSWealthManagement is so bad it literally makes you worried about investing with UBS. Besides the lack of performance data, the interface is just lousy. Tiny fonts, awful graphics, and an inability to show all of our accounts (husband and I have different accounts showing) just make this thing useless. Do better UBS!!

Super buggy and not functional

This has to be the worst app I have on my phone, and worst financial institution app I’ve ever used. Not reliable. Sometimes account information just doesn’t load. You can’t do too much on UBSWealthManagement either. Everything requires you to log in on your computer. UBS needs to invest in their digital wealth management platform. It also doesn’t help, UBS is pretty old school, and most stuff stuff want to do, you need an investment advisor.

No fee transparency

I have been trying for the longest time to ascertain what my fees and charges are for my investment accounts and services at UBS, with no luck. I have been a customer for 25 years and close to retirement. It is absolutely critical for me to have transparency. The UBS web portal as well as the mobile app should provide me an easy and intuitive way to see my fees and charges BOTH at a granular account or investment level as well as the Total across my entire portfolio. I would like to see the fund as well as advisory fees.

But UBS fails to do that and I am greatly disappointed and am almost ready to change to a different brokerage services organization.

Just ok

I like the UBS online product, but like the monthly statements I am irritated beyond belief by the failure to provide basic information with those statements. I don’t really care to get 8 pages of tiny text showing every transaction in my IRA. What I would like to get, but can’t seem to, is a simply monthly statement that shows my rate of return. Why bother, too, to show me the return on multiple indexes but not my own so I can compare them? It feels like a stunning and inexplicable lack of transparency.

Horrible Almost Useless Appp

I bank in several places. I have 4 or 5 banking apps on my phone. This is by far the worst of them. It offers little function. The rest must be done on the bank web site.. The developers have no concept of consistency. The timeout is very short and when you return you lose what you were doing. For example activating a card. The timeout was so short that UBSWealthManagement screen closed before I could pick my pin. After logging back in the activation screen was gone. With UBS and their poor app, the only way to set the PIN after activation is to call them. While I am glad they have great customer service, I wasn’t expecting this. Because of the circumstances, picking the PIN became an ordeal.

If you want to bank like you are living in the early 1990s, UBSWealthManagement is for you. Otherwise, pick a different bank.

UBS - So So

I previously used Mint to track my various accounts’ balances and monthly cash flow vs credit debt. My current financial advisor uses UBS. It’s nice to have an overall picture again, but this site seems to frequently lose automated connectivity to many of my accounts. It’s so very slow to load new pages. I’ll continue using as Mint closed shop, but wish it was more reliable and faster.

Devs you can do better

Constant issues with my balances not loading. Very limited visibility into your account and confusing layout to say the least. App has no timeout setting for requiring Face ID again, the session lengths are too short. No dark mode. You can do better than this, please take my feedback and improve.

Not easy to see actual balance

UBSWealthManagement is pretty good. However, I can not see what our current usage is. With Chase, you would always have up to date information. Also, why do transfer take so long to show or payments to our credit card? They are all UBS. It would be nice if those are immediate.

Nice looking, not particularly functional

The graphic design is really quite nice, but they forgot to hire software developers, too. Oftentimes UBSWealthManagement does nothing at all because of scheduled downtime on the server (which is fine occasionally, like maybe once or twice a year, but not all the time!). When it is working, the interface is clunky, slow to load, impossible to basic stuff. They should try to make UBSWealthManagement functional first and then let the designers get it there and make it pretty, too.

App and Website Need More User-Friendly Interface

I believe both UBSWealthManagement and the website can benefit from a more user-friendly interface that provide more direct and organized results and pages. I am a personal account owner, not an investment banker, and it would be easier for me to view my activity with out all the specifications of which stocks were purchased, etc. Bank of America and Marcus have extremely easy user interfaces that UBS should model after.

Best-in-class app with improvements to make on banking pin# requirement

This is such a great innovative and refined application for iPhone. It seems that they have really been thoughtful about the design, investment, and innovation poured into this client tool.

The PIN # requirement is an exhausting feature that is years behind in terms of being modern. These financial companies have a hard time accepting risk and being the first to do anything. I wish UBS would rethink this pin requirement. After all they are focused on banking services for the wealthy right? This pin creates a sloppy new client onboarding experience and is overly complicated how you have to have a separate temporary pin for each account. EFT, Bill Pay, Journals, banking features would be lights out if they could figure out how to make this easier on all banking clients.
Lastly, my UBS financial advisor is in desperate need of a new secure document delivery technology. They should be able to password protect a pdf and send outside of secure messaging. Or buy a new technology to facilitate this effort.

Paying bills

I don’t like the way the new paying bills works. I used to be able to pay more than one bill. Now I have to pay, submit and start all over. It’s very time consuming

Personnel info

I’ve gone in an reviewed/updated my info but the pop up is on the Home page every time I open it. It needs to go away but I can’t make it.
Just aggravating to tell it remind me later every time I open app.

Landscape versus portrait mode

Hi, So far this is a very good app.
I am requesting you please allow us to choose whether to use landscape or portrait mode? Currently only landscape is available even with IOS screen rotation lock on.

Thank you for considering this request.

My problems

I cannot deposit a check into any of my UBS Accounts because the page will freeze every time I go to the page which request me to take a picture.

Website in the palm of your hand

UBSWealthManagement has everything the website has, optimized in app form, making it just as easy/safe as the website but easy and convenient.

Easy Transfers

I just had to transfer money from one of our joint UBS accounts to my husband’s checking account. Between Face ID to login and a quick link to transfer the funds, it took less than a minute. Very quick and efficient.

Good app

As a former UBS employee I was accustomed to a great way of seeing the account. UBSWealthManagement for the IPhone is limited in scope. I use UBSWealthManagement on my iPad and it gives me a better view of applications. What I don’t like is the poor way of accessing statements which you can’t do on the iPhone. Also you can only use Safari for iPad access.

A quick and easy way to check

UBSWealthManagement gives a quick and easy way to check the status of my accounts without having to go through a browser and enter all my login information.
Since UBSWealthManagement supports Face ID, all I have to do is open UBSWealthManagement , and in a few seconds I’m in.
