Fun game keeps you busy BUT slow to open other islands , very expensive to buy buildings , Houses , commercial buildings , buying land to build your city is super expensive. Trying to open other islands ,again a ridiculous amount to open the marinas or the cruise terminals etc . Also when you finally get to open these places it’s takes over 100 hours for them to be opened (built ) Also I notice while playing when collecting money from my building I do not get all the money I sometimes get none ,sometimes a small amount and sometimes some of it goes to the leveling up bar. Unless you want to spend your hard earned cash (which I do not ). It’s a very slow game that will eventually bore you because you can not go forward unless you spend your hard earned real cash in a game

I had been enjoying the game until the pop up noisy ads were added. Perhaps some of us happened to like being able to keep the game open quietly, without having to turn down the volume of the ipad. Ty for convincing me to erase the game, well done.

Response to your response: You guys should have given us a chance to purchase the game to avoid noisy annoying ads. The fact that you didnt just goes to show that you care little for those who use it. All about the revenue from the ads. Given the amount of comments regarding your allowing popup ads... definetely care little about feedback.

This game is seriously a blast at first. I had so much fun creating my own little island just how I wanted it. The graphics are great (a lot better than the other games in my opinion - not as cartoon like which is what I prefer).
BUT the reason I am giving 2 stars is because you get addicted to the game and then all of the houses, buildings, etc. start costing gold instead of cash...you are only going to have enough gold to keep playing if you actually start paying REAL money. Also, the price to buy more land is outrageous and the same to open up new islands.
I really enjoyed this game but there isn’t much left for me to do on the game since I don’t have any gold accumulated. I feel as if it was very trick and misleading for them to switch how you purchase houses, buildings, etc. (meaning from cash to gold which you don’t get paid in gold so you barely have any). I will be deleting CityIsland3 sadly.

After a while all I feel like I’m doing is collecting money. I see a lot of repeat buildings on several levels of the game. If I want more employees, I have to pay almost $90,000 just to gain 2 additional employees for a small hotel. Every time you want to expand it gets very very very expensive. The return investment is much much less than what you pay out and not to mention the small amount of land that you get. I will probably be uninstalling this game and looking for something else. I just don’t find this is worth wasting my time and energy on.

I really did enjoy this game very much. It is fun to build and design your own city. However, there is no access to customer support in the game that I could find. While building the city you manage how many jobs there are, how many people, how much housing is needed and amenities that make those living in the city happy. It is great fun. While adding amenities to increase happiness I was not credited the points. The first was a shipwreck. I looked for customer support but could not locate it. I opted to continue playing and assume it was a glitch. However, I just added a post office and was not credited the points for it either. Perhaps it is a technical issue but I really do not love it so much as to search for it on Facebook or wherever customer support is. I used to play Zoo Tycoon in my desk top which is similar. While not a zoo (my personal favorite) it was very enjoyable. I would add... if it was a zoo I would definitely go through the trouble of seeking out customer support. It is that enjoyable.
Note to the devs this it would be a good idea to add customer support under the game controls so you are easy to contact.

No customer support available. Opened up a new land that cost 10 gold. After clicking, it did not expand so I clicked it again. The game took 20 gold and only opened up one parcel. Total rip-off. With no way to contact anyone,In this game not being a very important part of my life I will have to sign off and say goodbye.
not interested in dealing with greedy game owners anyway. Furthermore not being able to see around the entire island and only having a front view is really quite boring. I’ve been playing SimCity build it for a couple of years and I’ll just stick with that.

It becomes impossible to buy more land because it starts costing over a million to buy each piece. Also, you can’t rotate the screen. You can only rotate the buildings and houses 2 ways so you have to build your roads according to how you can rotate unless you just don’t care. This one has much better graphics than 5, but the game could use some upgrades. It’s essentially the same game as simcity but simcity is definitely more sophisticated, the only reason I went to city island is because I didn’t want to build skyscrapers.

Until yesterday, I would have rated this game 5 stars, but you went & ruined it with the last update. The reason why I like playing City Island 3, was because the art was realistic. The last update made the icons cartoon-ish. If I liked the cartoon look, then I would play City Island 5! Not to mention that when you click on collecting cash, it shows cash raining down, which slows me down, especially in places that are packed close together, because I miss clicking on the other cash icons. Seriously irritating, and makes me feel dizzy. I really thought I would play this game to the end, but I don’t know if I can stand it now. Please, please change the icons back to how they were. I downloaded other newer games of your’s, but deleted them within 24 hours, because of how much I hated the icons and cartoon look of the buildings, etc.
If you ruin City Island 3 by making it look so childish, I will never download or even bother looking at another Sparkling Society game ever again! Then again maybe it would be worth it just to leave bad reviews for them too.

The game is fun but gets stagnant after a time. And there’s really no place to get help. The buildings and jobs seem to be getting repetitious. Do I keep playing only to get another hotel that can’t be built on rock? If I get HD and it slows my tablet, can I go back? Or do I lose everything I bought and built. If I get City 4, does everything transfer? When do things get cartoonish? I like realism. How ‘bout a bridge? But, at level 97, the amount of gold vs what you get in return as far as game play is rapidly becoming not worth it.

Ever since I’ve downloaded, I can’t stop playing!! It’s so fun to play! It’s a great game that can be fun for a wide range a people. While it is a great app, there are a few improvements I’d like to see. I think some of the buildings, take the Apartments for example, are very overpriced. Also, I’d like to see a few more islands and landscapes come in to play. Lastly, it’d be fun to play with your friends and visit each other’s cities. Overall, City Islands 3 is a great app and I would definitely recommend it to a friend!!

I like this game a lot but when you want a new island it’s expensive!!! And there are way to many ads. I have a game where when you want a prize you have to watch an ad! Wuwt!! All I want is a game with barley any ads and where things are a lot less cheaper than this. To unlock a new island is like some million dollars!! Wuwt. If you agree please write a review about this it is getting on my nerves and with more peps complaining ‘bout it will lead to success hopefully!!

The game is great overall, way faster paced than sims. Though my hugest and only real issue is the city can only be viewed at one angle, instead of enabling players to rotate. This design has made details such as plants, roads, or anything at all really difficult to add to the city. The city is a grid pattern, you can’t see all the open remaining grids to place things through the crowded buildings. Love the game but it needs changed asap

I have always loved building games and architecture games. This is a very simple game that allows you to have fun and think a little. To be honest I'm not one for having to spend fake money on games, I think it makes it boring. I like more free style, but hey that's just me! Maybe things are a little to expensive on the game and maybe you guys can lower that a little. But overall it's pretty simple and fun! You can also add more buildings, more skyscrapers and restaurants!!!! This game is pretty fun guys!! Check it out👍😁

I signed up for your email subscriptions a while back and I’ve been trying to use the gift cards that you sent through the email but I’m not able to input them anywhere in the game. I tried to Google it but I couldn’t find anything useful because everything is dated 2016 or earlier And CityIsland3 has had a ton of updates since then so none of it is correct

I just got this game today and it SOOO MUCH FUN!!!!! The thing I love about this is that it’s just like real life!! You should check this game out when you can!! And when you download it, YOU WONT REGRET IT!!! Believe me! If i could, i could play this game ALL DAY because of how fun it is!! So check it out and you better like it because then, you’ll never regret from downloading!!

i love this game so much! it helps pass by time wherever i’m at. i recommend this game to anybody who likes to build things & take care of stuff theirselves! you get to be your own mayor of YOUR city! collect your profits to get more stuff to unlock! only part people might not like is paying for gold cause pays out for a lot of stuff that collects a lot more stars to level up. but other than that, it’s great!

When Facebook becomes a bit redundant and boring, or You become bored with Netflix but you still have time to waste, there is no better way to pass the time. I love this game. It’s easy enough to figure out. So easy that even my 4 year old always asks if he can “collect the money?” Beware, however, it is very easy for the 4 year old to “accidentally” delete a building you saved up several days worth of cash/gold to obtain.

This game is SO EPIC!!! Hip hip hooray for whoever is in charge of this creation!!!!
I LOVE IT! Unfortunately, I think I might be addicted to it! 😅
There are a few things you could fix, but it’s still great without them!
1. Less expensive property, it took me weeks to afford even one more piece on my second island!
2. Some. Harder challenges, like things. You have to buy, and demands, requests and trouble from the citizens of they don’t get treated well! And maybe some crime!? That would spice it up a bit!!!!
3. The ability to collect all of tree money at once! It takes me all tear to get it all, and then it starts all over again! And i always accidentally end up upgrading a building in the process! 😅
I would be SO happy if you could add even one of those things!!!
Anyway, still my favorite iPhone game!!!!

I haven’t been playing for very long about 3-4 weeks but so far I love it! I do enjoy the building sims instead of the same old games. I’m 68 years old and it helps to keep my brain sharp! If I have any criticism (constructive) it’s that it is so expensive. I love playing but I can only get so far and then I have to stop to let the game generate more money so that I can buy new houses or businesses. But I do love playing and this my favorite game!

The game is really fun. I play this when I have nothing else to do while on my phone. I have been playing this game for about six months. There’s one thing I would love to see as an update. In the town add people walking around the town like citizens. That would add a really cool look and a really cool touch to the game. All in all the game is wonderful and really fun to play.
