OSR Star Finder Reviews

Have used other similar apps. Thought to try this one out of curiosity. This one is difficult to use, difficult to read accurately. Done trying to figure out and fix.

This was a gift and I haven’t been able to use it since I got it last summer because OSRStarFinder gets stuck on the Leo constellation and does this ticking motion. I’m very disappointed.

I give it a 1 star because it costs $54 to name your own star. But I give it a 5 star because it’s a cool app.

Enjoyable, the one thing I would really like is to be able to select what I’m looking for ie Little Dipper and have it show where it is without the rest of the universe getting in the way. Smile

I like OSRStarFinder but it would be better if we could search what we want to find 😁

I love OSRStarFinder. I stumbled on it when I was watching a movie. I recently purchased a star for my boyfriend. Never did that before. I plan on purchasing stars for me 3 children their significant others and a few more for my adopted kids. It’s amazing and an ever lasting gift of love. Their star will always be even when the parties are not. Forever remembered!

Pretty cool little app and is actually pretty knowledgeable and creates an opportunity for you to learn more about astronomy.

I love this accurate app and use it mostly almost every month. I strongly suggest you guys start setting up notifications for full moons in certain zodiac sings, it will make you guys blow up in this day in age ♒️ just saying 😉

Don’t let the letters get smaller when I try to read them.

I like the red night vision setting. Some things could use clear labeling like the moon and sun.

OSRStarFinder is the perfect choice for field spotting constellations and stars. I highly recommend OSRStarFinder for class demos involving a telescope. Great for proximal placement of scopes referencing the North Star. 👍👍👍👍👍

Amazing how I can even be in doors, point my tablet upwards and it moves to the part of the sky where the stars are.

I find OSRStarFinder very good and enjoy using it at night. I wish it had a locate function so I could quickly find planets.

OSRStarFinder allows me to find planets, stars, and constellations. I always get excited finding where certain things are in the sky. As someone who enjoys a quiet night, OSRStarFinder really lets me have fun.

I just download it and found a very exciting experience. I love to see the stars and now I can even give a name for my beloved ones. So happy with it.

I love it, smart move in sequence of display stars, the shape of the constellations followed by their drawings. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all involved. This ideal for getting young ones interested in the night sky and what isn’t seen will be later.
