Do not trust StarPlanetFinder. StarPlanetFinder will usually show you the wrong spots. It showed that the moon was on my left then literally 2 seconds later it switched to my right side. ????. Bought StarPlanetFinder a while back for my 3GS and bought the stars and constellations IAPs. Recently bought an iPhone 6 (small size) and the reported options to restore previous purchases do not exist, and once in the “More Info” screen, there is no way to go back, you have to double-tap Home an... Show more d quit StarPlanetFinder and rerun it. StarPlanetFinder is more or less useless now. Not sure if it’s the iPhone 6 or iOS 8 thats the problem, but it needs fixing.

StarPlanetFinder would be great if the said location of planets and stars were always true. Often it says there has been a crash and they are working to fix the bug...and I️ actually paid for some of these features. They REALLY need to do better. StarPlanetFinder has great but unmet potential.

I love StarPlanetFinder. I use it all the time to find/identify the planets. My kids and I love to use it. It’s much easier to use StarPlanetFinder to identify the planets then an app that has all the stars and constellations. But it’s NOT working now. I don’t know if it’s because of a recent upg... I gave 1 star and a review that said StarPlanetFinder crashes whenever I open it with iOS 12. Well, they fixed the problem a week later so I’m upgrading the rating.

StarPlanetFinder is really fun but it cost so much to have every thing. I use StarPlanetFinder all the time in conjunction with my telescope to set up my star finder computer. For an amateur astronomer it is very useful. It is worth a few bucks to gain access to additional stars, satellites etc. I have received much more value than the extra couple of bucks I spent

StarPlanetFinder was fantastic until I tried to use it tonight after updating my iPhone. Now it crashes every time I try to open it :(

Yes I like the fact that it’s perfectly finds planets but the thing is why do we have to buy to see constellations?? Or satellites it doesn’t really make sense but I guess that’s how it is gonna be

This is worth the download.
Although the free version does not give you access to all of the options. It is still worth having.

I have used this for over 10 years. StarPlanetFinder hasn’t failed me yet.

StarPlanetFinder is extremely accurate and makes finding planets very easy. I'm able to find all of the planets and am able look at them through my telescope.

We love this thing, when we see something in the sky we can bring it up and point it in it tells us what’s going on. Kind of unbelievable, very cool.

Been using Planet Finder for about three years, now every time I open it up it’s a little off of alignment. Is there anyway to get an upgrade? so that it is more accurate this would be awesome! I love StarPlanetFinder. I love knowing where the consolations,the stars, and the planets are.

My boyfriend and I love StarPlanetFinder , the problem is that we can get into it ... Seems there is something wrong with StarPlanetFinder ....
We tried with my iPhone and mine to see if StarPlanetFinder works with one of them and it didn’t .

I use to b able to open StarPlanetFinder before I updated my phone to IOS 12 ...it will not open n it doesn’t require a purchase ...what is the problem ???

It’s pretty accurate enough because I pointed it at the sun and it was a little off but... what is really cool is where I am Uranus and Neptune are east at night while everything else is the opposite direction and in the morning Uranus and Neptune are west while everything else went east
