Star Map Tracker is a stargazing augmented reality app with more than 3k stars
and constellations. This app will guide you through most known stars and show
all necessary information (right ascension, declination, azimuth, elevation and
etc.) You can use all of this data for pointing you...
FIGURE 8 DOES A FIGURE HATE
I want to rate this realistically but I can’t even get it to work in the first place. The collaboration doesn’t work so I haven’t even been able to use the app yet and I just want to use it because I love me some motherfudging stars and edumuhcation. Please help. I want my money back and I didn’t even have to pay for it )= App creator what do I dooooooooooooooo?
Waste of money gps way off to sky
This app is complete waste of money. When I point to moon in on sky in guide frame does not line up to their star chart and objects. Cannot line up sky through camara to match their overlay view. Not slightly off it’s way off even after auto recalibration several times they should be ashamed of themselves for producing this poor quality app that is use less as a star map. Unfortunately can’t show pictures so you can see screen shot of what a joke this app really is!
Haters gonna hate
I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about this app. I used to have a star finder app which I paid for but for some reason it’s been deleted from my app list. I’ve got the free version of this and it’s just as good as the one I paid for. Give it a try it’s really awesome.
This is an ok app, but I am only able to see some constellations + the sun + the moon + Jupiter. None of the other planets will show without buying a premium pack. I find this obnoxious because I just want to know where I can look for planets in a telescope.
Looks nice but difficult to calibrate and should not need that much calibration in the first place
This app sucked, I got it just to see what one stars name was and it came up as something different every time, I wanted a free app and I got one, just with a premium pack so that you could see more than 5 stars. Having the premium was dishonest to the buyer because they probably only picked your app because it was free with “ok” reviews at first glance
Waste of my time
Don’t waste your time on this “free” app. It only shows you blurred images - except the moon! - but constantly tells you that constellations and stars are available in the “pro” package! Don’t waste my time - either be an actual app or charge me up from!
I think that this app is great for a lot of reasons. It is great to use at night when you are trying to figure out what star is which. It is also great to use for finding constellations. While this is a great app, there are a few downfalls. One of the downfalls is the fact that you must buy the full app to receive the full experience. You also must purchase the full app to see all or the stars.
I’m not paying 2 dollars for more planets
I can go in to space and find them for free.
Wish it included planets!
I like the UI and the stars as icons on a plain background. In that regard, it's ahead of other apps. The app has a lot of potential, but it's still pretty rudimentary. I really wish it included planets and showed the horizon.
Needs better search
I bought this app to locate a specific star, and paid for the pro version. $2 is not a lot of money. But...there is no “search” feature for stars, I scrolled down through hundreds (thousands?) of stars in the un-alphabetized list and eventually gave up. If you could type the name of the star, this would be a 5-star review
i just downloaded this to find the big dipper and the calibration is on point af so yeah and i realized that there was that archer man constellation right in front of my face so yeah. its lit.
“Hey download this app and you can look at a bunch of dots in the sky, but you need to pay if you want to their names.” Should have been the real description. I don’t write reviews.
This app doesn’t know up from down. Can calibrate and shows south is north and east is west
Incomplete and imprecise
This app doesn’t have any data on planets or the moon.
