Exceeds expectations

When I first saw an ad for this app it stated: “like tinder but for festivals” or something if the sort. Well this is so much more than that. This is an amazing place to connect with people from all over the world from anything as simple as kandi trading meet ups all the way to these things called Gatherings where you can set up events such as parties and group meet ups and whatnot. Yes you can swipe left or right like tinder but that is barely the beginning. You can also swipe right on any profile you come across in the feed, in your event page, and in group chats. This is the ultimate way to connect with like minded strangers at festivals and shows! My only complaint would be that they don’t have as many shows listed (you can request that they add more) and Radiate is so big and busy it shuts down every once in a while.

Like tinder, but for ravers

I love Radiate so much. I stumbled across it this past week, and haven’t been off it since. Radiate is amazing because it provides people who are into the rave culture to meet and create great connections. It’s like being at a rave without leaving your own home. It’s a rave away from a rave. It also provide people who are new to the culture to meet and get really helpful insight. Radiate is like tinder, but for raves. Actually it’s better than tinder. You get to meet guy and girl friends or you have an opportunity to find a rave bae😝 I HIGHLY recommend Radiate! This is the only review I’ve ever bothered to write for an app, because it’s really that good. Download it now & you won’t regret it !

Loving It! But wish it had real-time updates!

Okay! That app is every ravers dream! When you’re needing to get pumped up for a festival this is the perfect go to! You can meet everyone who would have similar interest wether it be “rave bae” or “rave fam”. The only truly issue is in regards to matching with the same users (wether you unmatched them, or previously matched them before) and also the real-time updates of messages. Sometimes I will receive messages in my notification in regards someone sending me a “Hey Me” message. But I won’t actually receive and be able to view the message until around nearly a day or so later. I love Radiate overall, it’s helped me on numerous occasions, just needs a way to update faster in regards to messaging and information processing.

one stop shop

The perfect destination for all things EDM!! comes with detailed maps of festival grounds, as well as DJ set times and what stage they will be playing on. the social aspect is nice, as it connects attendees who needs things such as rides, people to attend shows with etc. though it could become much more powerful if more people got involved on the chats and such. easy to use, and doesn’t really require a whole lot of know how to figure out were things are. Interesting logo (and even a cool little mascot) that definitely seems to represent the colorfulness and unity that is so predominant in our culture. one of my must haves for upcoming festivals!

Better than a tinder for festivals

Radiate has helped me meet so many amazing people and gotten the chance to meet up with at festivals. I met my rave fam on Radiate and have been to a couple festivals with them since even if we don’t end up going to the same one there’s always an offer for it! Not to mention if you’re traveling to a festival out of state this is a great way to meet friends to camp or hotel with for a festival! The community is always pointing out scammers and guys or girls who are sketchy or have assaulted someone. Even information about upcoming festivals and where to buy testing kits. All around amazing and highly recommend💜

The most wonderful app run by the best people

I love this app for so many reasons I’m not even sure where to start. I met my Rave fam on this app which still continues to grow. Because of my fam I have a new job that is bettering my life. I have this app to thank for that. I’ve met so many new friends and gotten to trade kandi with so many beautiful people because of Radiate. The makers are also some of the nicest people I’ve met. I won free tickets to wobbleland from them and things went a little sour with will cal, but they have helped me every step of the way. I wish I could give 20 stars.

Great app! (suggestion included)

I have used Radiate before and it provides a great way to connect with others who love music festivals as much as I do. One thing I would like to see is the option to make an account without Facebook. I deleted my Facebook account over a year ago and because of that I have been unable to use this app, which is really disappointing. I would love to be able to make an account and use this app to connect with others but not having a Facebook does not allow me to do that. I hope this can be added soon so I can come back to this great app!

Thank you 💜

Because of y’all, I was able to find my forever family. In a short amount of time I found a group full of amazing individuals that I love and adore who I now call family. Nothing but constant overflowing love each and every day. Our bond just kept growing and growing. I was so excited to meet these people. The moment we finally did it was a done deal. I knew these people were going to be a part of my life for the long run. Thank you so much for your app and helping me find my fam. 💜💜💜💜💜

Meet your rave fam, and life long best friends <3

I downloaded this app when my best friend and I were planning on going to our first festival together. We found a bunch of awesome people to meet up with and had the absolute best time with them. We decided to also go to another festival and found people to travel and stay with for it, and these kids are our best friends to this day. We talk every day and visit each other and still go to shows as a fam. I highly recommend Radiate for anyone who wants to meet some awesome friends and have a great time!

Love It

Hi! I love Radiate but it could use some improvements like:
1) Replying directly to a comment instead of just mentioning the persons name hoping they see your reply 😂
2) We are able to expand why we are reporting a comment or profile (ex: nudity, hate speech, bullying, selling drugs)

I honestly still love Radiate though! I’ve made a ton of friends from it and I still plan to! I wish there was a way to weed out the people who are doing sketchy stuff though😂 other than that this app is a great app!

Pretty cool app

Radiate is great for ravers and fans of electronic music. Easy to find people who are close to you to meet up with like-minded souls.

The one negative I would add is that I’ve blocked several people in hopes I wouldn’t have to see the content they are posting. For some reason my feeds still shows up with people that I have blocked posts. I wish it was more conscious of things I didn’t want to see. Unfortunately there was no way to bring this up with Radiate creators directly through Radiate . Hence why I’m writing a review about it.

Options to log in without Facebook.

this app is a tremendous app and it’s amazing if you are involved into the rave culture. However, I recently decided to become a part of a small population of people that no longer has Facebook. As a result, I am unable to log onto this app because I no longer have a Facebook. I could do the whole “make a profile in 5 seconds” thing, but I would rather this app offer another option for us to sign in instead. Like phone number or something. Other than that, Radiate is amazing and I highly recommend it if you are into the rave scene!

#PLUR ❤️🤟🏾

Radiate is really cool for anyone who is involved or interested in rave culture! Of course you know people come from all over the world to go to different festivals; but its awesome to see that network online and connect with people before you even get to the show. You can definitely feel the family vibes on here; people are looking out for each other, giving advice whether it be on how to stay safe at a venue they have never been to or what to expect such as parking, etc. Great app!

If the whole EDM thing is your scene, this is your one stop shop.

Overall, quite a good UI and app features that actually make sense for the most part. Algorithms could be a little tightened (it does crash every so often but is getting better). And obviously this thing works better the more people that use this thing. So go tell your friends about this. This thing has the potential to be a skillful marketer’s best tool in this sub-culture.

Great app

Radiate is so useful to find likeminded people to make friends with and is a really cool way to use technology to socialize. My only complaint is if you find someone you don’t vibe with, the block feature doesn’t really seem to make much of a difference. They can still see all of your messages and you can see all of theirs in groupchats so it kind of defeats the purpose. Sure it prevents individual messaging but the unmatching feature already achieves that.

By

great app but...

over all it’s a great app. Multiple ways to connect w other ravers and find out about raves... but aside from the crashing, the ‘Hey’ messaging needs work. If someone Heys me and I try to hey them back, it keeps changing ppl (meaning if I click on the notification I get one person, when I click on it again it changes to someone else... so I’m like did this person really hey me or not?) 🤔 I’d still recommend it to anyone that wants to get into the scene. PLUR 🙏✨

Not so Rad

Radiate is GRIMY. Some people are really cool and are keeping the rave spirit alive, but mostly the place is a mass free for all market filled with attention whoring photos. Its SUPPOSED to be about connecting ravers, which is awesome, but the majority of what you see are prostitution adverts and scams, people self plugging their drugs/wears or IGs and snaps to get popular and ofc constant requests for someone to please sell them some tickets. (The tickets are understandable but theres so much of it its practically spam it should have its own forum.) If you want any of this, great the place is for you. If you wanted something more you will quickly tire of Radiate.

Best social app ever!

It’s competing with my FB, insta and snap. I enjoy everything about Radiate and I’m super new into the festival scene and Radiate helped me embrace everything after I got back from my first festival. I found people I met there and new amazing people on here. It’s got the dating aspect too but from seeing my friend try and treat it like tinder when he saw me using it and have ZERO luck cuz hey! It’s not a dating app(entirely) Best app right now highly recommend

By

Better than Tinder lol

In all seriousness though it’s like a dating app but it’s a friend app. Or rave fam app, I mean it’s literally perfect for the rave community. You can swipe left or right to people you find interesting or don’t, you can match and start conversations and sometimes you can form long life friendships or relationships. Since I downloaded Radiate I’ve made a lot of great friends who are now apart of my every growing rave family.

Great Idea

Besides its great structure, it’s a great idea and works really well for everything festival related - though I can’t find any club events, I think it does the party world justice by bringing people who are far away closer together!

Great way to meet people ahead of time and plan, or talk about anything - I use it every year when Ultra comes around. I’ll definitely be using it more when I go to more festivals!
