Excellent for both boating and flying. For example you have wind directions at different elevations above surface. You have wave directions and height on the major water. You also have freeze levels and radar. The only additional thing I would like to see is the location of Cold Front with high and low pressure areas on the map.

I like the layout of Rise and how it works but I am getting tired of losing my saved locations. It seems like every time I am away from Rise for more than a few weeks that when I need to check the tides in my area the saved locations are lost and I have two stations in my saved locations that are of no use to me. Getting agrivated to the point of being ready delete the application from my phone.

Rise is perfect for my us in Alaska. My travels along coastal waters here demand current and correct information. I have not been disappointed ever. We logged over one thousand miles piloting last year alone. I am able to plan my anchorages from an I Pad each evening from the comfort of cabin or tent! I would recommend this to anyone...

Got tired of the weather channel changing up their app with tides etc. when you live on the coast, that's the one you want. Found this little jewel and it's perfect. The places are listed along the coast, and with the moon phases, I know if high tide is super high etc. thanks for giving us exactly what we need!

Rise appears to be accurate, but I don’t understand why I set Juneau tides as my favorite and two days later I can’t find Juneau tides it defaults to tides in Hawaii and North Carolina. I change it back so that Hawaii and North Carolina do not appear, Juneau is my favorite, and two days later I can’t find Juneau tides without searching. That is my only complaint.

After trying several tide apps, I really enjoy the straight-forward, decluttered delivery of the information I need. The fact that it’s a free app makes it that much better. I highly recommend this app.

Perfect for what I need, however my iphone keeps telling me the developer needs to update Rise . So to the developers: please update so it will keep working and I can keep using it :)

I don't live directly on the coast but do enjoy going fishing on coastal waters relatively often. Rise meets my needs perfectly in tide charts and moon phases. I have found them to be reasonably accurate and use it several times per week.

Rise looks nice in the way it presents solunar info. It's got a sweet landscape view too where it shows a graphical representation of the tides with major and minor feed times superimposed on top.

The info I care about is front and center. Just wish there were notification or widget options.

Set up your favorites for easy access to your favorite coastal spots. PS Turn your phone sideways for charts and click on the upper right for access to maps. Easy to use- love it!

I absolutely loved Rise but it no longer works with my OS please do an update so I can go back to using this as my favorite tide app

They got rid of the ads and Rise seems to be quicker. Especially when opening.

Allows quick check of local tide.

I don't often, or ever, write reviews, but Rise is extremely well designed and I use it all the time for fishing, so I felt obligated to write a review to support such a good app.

Rise is a good app but needs to be updated to the latest iOS in order to work on my iPhone 8. I will give it a 4 stare rating when it get updated.

Use it all the times. Very simply and easy to read for a quick view.

I love this ap, and the information and display make it very user-friendly. I do not, however, like continuously installing my favorites only to have them deleted.

Except I cannot seem to save my locations in the favorites.

I just moved to Oregon coast and was looking for tidal charts to time my beach activities. And I found it. Like WeatherLine, it's interface is a one glance, simple and easy to use, no animations, no drop downs, just all the information about tides, moon, sunrise and sunset in one place. Perfect.

Rise is great, information is easy to find and very useful, but.... I do a lot of fishing at night and like to plan those trips around the moon. I wish Rise had the moon this app/overhead/set times. If it did would be 5 stars for sure.

Rise works well - loads my location quickly and is easy to read.

We live on Rocky Bay, Puget Sound in WA State. We use this app daily at home as well as in Hawaii, both coasts, and Mexico. It is an excellent app and very important to those who live on and use salt water.
