BabyNameTogether I think is trying to be funny. The names provided aren't even words, let alone names. For example, are there people seriously considering naming their child Volkwart? The most "normal" name I have come across is Hermione. Yup. Only 13876 more names to go.

Continually crashes on the second launch. Had to delete and reinstall several times but it keeps crashing.

They have more names than another free app I tried but you have to pay to see the name meaning with this one. They make it look like you get the pronunciation and name meaning but they make you pay after seeing one. Plus you have to watch ads with this one. The Baby Name free app gives you the name meaning for free and there are no ads but their list of names is more limited than this one. With Baby Name you can pay for more names but that seems silly.

I love unique and different names, but some of these “names” are basically random words. And some actual names I would’ve expected to see arent listed at all. But theres Zircon, Ziconia, Fire, Harbor, Maleficent...definitely some random words...

I purchased the Pro version and was not able to open BabyNameTogether after that. Very disappointed. How do you get a refund??

I've now purchased the property version twice... And it's still not working. Not happy.

I bought the pro version. My wife and I have been trying to share it and take names and it never worked. But we were still able to use it to record our own list of names. So I didn’t think it was that big of a deal even though BabyNameTogether wasn’t working. I emailed BabyNameTogether developer a few times but didn’t bother writing a negative review.

Then both my wife and I got new iPhones. And we tried to download the pro app. And we found out that the pro app didn’t exist. And we also found out that the baby list that we both made separately on our phones. I literally swipe thousands of names and all that work is for not we’re not having a kid in two weeks and we can’t get our list of names.

Do not download. Use another app.

I really liked that you could apply filters to your selection and had the ability to search for specific names to add to your list. Every time I searched, however, BabyNameTogether totally froze and didn't allow me to add the name or click any other buttons; forcing me to restart BabyNameTogether -- this happened 3 times before I decided to delete it from my phone. Fix the glitch and I'll be happy to download again.

Pros: Entertaining for sure and I like that there is an option to add my husband and we can compare. The addition of the middle names and last name in the pro version really help you visualize your future child’s name and is a neat tool. The name popularity feature is cool.

Cons: Stops working at random times. I can’t see our name comparison list anymore. The announcements work but refresh randomly after a long period of scrolling and when it refreshes is a bunch of the same images repeated. No pregnancy announcements at all- very sad! After paying $2.99 for an app that is supposed to work properly it’s kinda a disappointment when it just doesn’t do what you paid for, let alone run without randomly shutting down. Lame tease with the daily popularity chart - get one day with unpaid and a whole bunch more with paid version.

Overall: it’s ok but I wish I’d rather not paid and kept the unpaid version- it’s not like paying anything helped us pick up name of our daughter more or less. In fact, the names were weird and hard to select a good “normal but uncommonly used” name. And the definitions are lacking (like I know for a fact Lily means more than “flower”) a little more development would make BabyNameTogether worth it- but as it stands right now- it’s not worth it.

I wish I could write some of my favorite names first. Plus a better picture of the names I like more.
