4/27 Doesn’t anyone look at these reviews or check that the updates actually work?
Update 4/25: Still can’t use MyPCPL at all - immediately crashes after opening. PLEASE fix this ASAP!
Since downloading the update yesterday, I can’t get MyPCPL to open - it gets to the welcome screen & crashes into the background. Please, please fix this! I use MyPCPL almost every day.
Normally I’m pretty happy with MyPCPL , although I really miss being able to read other’s reviews & leave more than just a star rating. We could do both in the old format of MyPCPL . It would be nice to get that capability back. It would also be nice to be able to customize your homescreen to choose what categories you want to see, rather than the preassigned New, TV & Video, Events, etc. most of which don’t interest me. I miss the old Recently Reviewed category - I found a lot of good books that way.

The old app worked great! This new one is terrible. I cannot see my holds list, my materials that are out, etc. I end up logging on to the library website instead.

Worked fine for about a year, then suddenly began giving misinformation, eg No Books Checked Out, then started saying Account ID or PIN not correct. Nothing worked to fix it. Began logging in via the web.

Crashes when trying to do a search, and takes a while to load this app page.

Overall, MyPCPL is helpful but I still prefer to use a physical location well before MyPCPL for anything but quick searches. MyPCPL crashes most noticeably every time I open my “For Later” shelf.

I love that I can get to my For Later booklist from the opening screen. No more writing titles on post its for my visits to the library.
