Vizzywig: Record & Edit Videos Reviews

I bought Vizzywig back in 2016 and I could have sworn it did something back then. Now it’s changed so that you can’t do anything whatsoever (like create any projects which is what Vizzywig is for) without paying even more money over time. Fix your app, yo! Isn’t 80 bucks enough for you?

Buy LunaFusion for a fraction the price instead. Works every time for me and you can even export for a Premiere Pro project too, all with no subscription at all. You guys scammed me years ago, and apparently bad old habits grow harder.

I purchased a subscription to Vizzywig but I receive a validation error on my iphone. However under my itunes settings it shows subscribed. Vizzywig wont let me record or start a new project. It stays stuck on the subscribe screen... I contacted the developer and the email was bounced back! This is the email from their website so maybe they are out of business...? I don’t know

Vizzywig is ridiculous waste of money. It keeps crashing every 5 minutes the only good thing about Vizzywig is the 4K recording quality. That’s it. Very complicated as well. Manual doesn’t really explain anything.

Update | the developers worked with me to ensure my purchase was successfully restored.

I purchased Vizzywig for a lot more than they are offering at the moment. However, the restore purchase option is not working. Please fix, then I will upgrade review.

Can‘t even try it before I commit to the „free“ testperiod that of course turns into a paid subscription if you don‘t take care.

Vizzywig was supposedly 79,99 and does NOTHING unless you pay even more.

Apple, why do you let scams like this onto the Appstore?

Hi, I don’t want this incarnation of your app. I emailed you over a week ago with no response. Do not charge me that $23 annual fee.

Easy. Fun. Did I say easy? I've been a long time video editor (on many platforms) and thought it would be a waste...This product has a few little bugs but overall it's great! Love the resolution on my iMac 5K! What a time saver for me and that's taking into consideration the reboot times when the occasional freeze up happens. After putting up with decades of software bombs in the video editing arena and spending tens of thousands of dollars in my life on video gear it is almost laughable how good the quality of the finished video clips are using my 6s and Vizzywig. Well done Vizzy dudes but don't stop ironing out the bugs...

Just downloaded, and still need to run through paces.

My First impressions:

I recall how excited I was with Macintosh...in 1983. The GUI was amazing.

30+ years later I don't want to experience nostalgia in the UI. This is exactly what I initially felt when I went through the UI buttons with a linked settings/options display.

If it was not for the reviews I might be disappointed. But the reviews seem very positive. So, let's put Vizzywig through the paces.

PS: Very fast and flexible. Options are easily accessible. Creativity is facilitated with a fast workflow and project compile space. Perhaps the most intuitive app I have used for a video project. Photos integrate easily as does music. this app is feature full.

PSS: i am beginning to experience daily events through the lens of the this app App. Like turning to my iPhone everyday, I turn to this app, and yet it is more than a initial go to app, because this app enables productivity; it is now my go to creativity App.

I am loving this app.

Before this app, I was using iMovie on my iPad Pro. However, I was looking for something with more flexibility and better for my needs. This product surely does it. I am quite happy with the results so far after generating 18 videos in less than 2 hours. I love how easy it is to produce the video with all of my edits and transitions. I especially like the settings at the end for intro's and credits. My iPad is now a complete replacement for my laptop. Thank you!

When I try to add a still shot, app closes down. Editing a video is very confusing, if I want to cut the beginning or even a middle section of a video, the option to cut isn't clearly shown. (The selection buttons are so small and not clearly labeled). I still haven't figured it out. And even after paying an enormous amount of money for app, their logo and app name is still showing at the end of credits so I've opted not to use credits just so I don't have a logo I don't want. (Yes, I tried deleting the option for the logo and still shows) ugh...not worth the price at all!!

Interface is great and easy to use, editing and creating movie clips right in Vizzywig is very easy, also exporting clip to your camera roll is just as good. The settings allow you to customize every little detail about shooting and editing. I really look forward to future updates and additions!

I can see so much potential for this to be a killer app, but the snails pace at which your app processes the video to finish and export is painful.

There's got to be a way to speed the process up.

The interface isn't as bad as some others have said but could use updating for sure. There are too many buttons and features all bunched together and very small icons. It makes using it on my iPhone 6 difficult.

Needs in-app instructions and tips. It's very difficult to figure out how everything works "out of the box" so to speak.

Wish I could have given a better rating but for the price I paid for Vizzywig, I expected a polished interface and much faster processing speeds.

The way things are now I can't see myself using this much.

Over the last three years I've been trying to get Vizzywig to export clips reliably, at times it exports in 1080p, most often it exports in 320p, very rarely will it export in 4K. Most often it exports the title credit and this app Logo and no footage, footage is either blank or white.
The issues I had with app when I had an iPhone6 are the exact same issues I have with the latest version of Vizzywig and the iPhone7.
On the rare occasion that I do succeed in exporting footage the image quality is better than other apps, but it's unreliability renders it completely useless.

Major bugs fixed, and Vizzywig is, for me, now performing as I expect it should for the price. Had the opportunity to work with the owner and chief software guru for some issues I was having and that was a nice touch! I am now using Vizzy 4K 2017 for all of my digi vid projects. If you are looking for a direct, slick, full featured video editing-on-the-fly app... this is it!

I am VERY happy with the update and the significant speed improvements. There are a few apps out there that claim 4K capabilities but I have used all of them and Vizzywig is the only one with true-4K. The detail in all my videos is absolutely mind-blowing. The user experience is second to none. Hands down best investment I've made YTD.

Doesn’t work with my iPhone X or my iPad Pro 12.9. Apparently Vizzywig is up to speed with the best devices.

Really frustrating to pay $100 and not even be able to use Vizzywig at all. Leaving 5 star review for time being in hopes the developer reads this and makes and effort to help me.

Shooting in 3840 * 2160 in my 128 GB iPhone 6 plus! The video looks great. Other than minor glitches, love Vizzywig. The developer is so kind to respond back all your questions right away! Hope all the minor issues gets resolved sooner so Vizzywig can get blockbuster rating!

I bought this $99 app and the cheaper non 4K app. I can see no difference at all. I run it on an iPad Pro and and iPhone 6 Plus both seem to crash and I loose the entire recording. I can't get this to work on my corporate network and the 3G server option is not yet available and will probably cost a fortune. I have reverted to simply recording on my phones and then copying the files to iMovie or Camtasia where I have more stability and power. For me Vizzywig was a complete waste of money

I have the pleasure to try out Vizzy 4K, and I have a wonderful experience. Vizzywig is well-designed, user friendly, and the features are well incorporated into the user interface. The video quality is impressive, 4K video is amazing. I am whole-heartedly recommend Vizzywig to any user out there.
