Screen Recorder: Go Record Reviews

I’m giving ScreenRecorder no stars. I’m not trying to be rude or point fingers, but ScreenRecorder does not work. Every time I record a game in Among Us, it ends up either quitting randomly, or just ends up recording, but the recording doesn’t show up. I thought “Hey, maybe it wants me to turn on notifications!”. No. That wasn’t it. When I was done recording on my last video it said “Tap here to watch your recording” or something like that. So I did. There wasn’t a recording in sight. I deleted the re-downloaded ScreenRecorder, and nothing is working. I’ve done at least 5 videos to see if it fixes, but it doesn’t. Developers, please fix this. If you have patience and can deal with a non-working app on your phone, go ahead. If your a rage quitter or just are completely pointing fingers at the developers for it not working, I wouldn’t download ScreenRecorder. The problem with me was I have had ScreenRecorder before, and it worked perfect. No bugs, everything was great. Then I deleted it because I had found another recording app that was super easy to navigate and worked better, had better reviews and whatnot. That one sucked. So I downloaded this one again. Now this one doesn’t work AT ALL. Nothing works. I’ve tried everything, you guys, and nothing. Will. Work. Nothing! So I don’t recommend ScreenRecorder at all.

ScreenRecorder, when first downloaded, worked almost to perfection. My first attempt at making a 1 hr long screen recording failed miserably; my recording simply did not show up in ScreenRecorder . My second attempt was about 20 minutes and worked perfectly! My third recording recording was again about 20 mins, but only ten minutes of the recording had audio, so half of it was useless. I then tried to record the last 25 minutes of the voice memo, and it worked perfectly!! I then realized half of my 3rd attempt didn’t have sound and continually tried rerecording this 10 min part of the voice memo and had the same result of no audio. I finished my screen recording using the iPhone screen recording app which has been just as glitchy for me. I cannot figure out why the audio cuts off randomly when screen recording. ScreenRecorder could be great, but first it must fix the bugs that occur constantly. I downloaded ScreenRecorder on an older iPhone 6s I had, and after the first recording the videos didn’t show up in ScreenRecorder after the first try. ScreenRecorder needs a lot of work, but if it is your only hope it won’t hurt to try it. It at least worked well for one good 30 min recording on both phones.

It’s because I wasted money for no reason and you been charging my mom a year now my mom only has $10 in a savings now I can’t really get anything in the family is starving to death I can’t believe what this game has done to my life and you can take food stamps too we were so sad and I was starving for almost a week and then we finally got rain paid because they saw what happened and then I wanted to leave the game I did and then it popped up again people reading it and it’s finally gone back to ScreenRecorder to tell you how bad is it now you can’t really pay for anything else because I’ve been trying to record a year and nothing no videos I paid all everything to get everything and nothing happened I’m so sorry but I don’t think this game is going to be building up for a long time:(

From what I’ve seen so far (I just started using ScreenRecorder), ScreenRecorder is pretty good! It supplies me with all my screen recording needs. Ok, enough with the praise, let’s see why I gave ScreenRecorder a 3 star rating when I like it so much.

I made a few test recordings to get used to ScreenRecorder (I also deleted those test recordings). Everything was going well, I was able to view those test recordings, and when I felt that I was getting the hang of it, I set out to make a full-length recording. I recorded myself playing Color Switch, and when I stopped the recording, the notification that I could view the recording appeared. I decided not to tap on it, and I instead just went to Go Record. I opened up ScreenRecorder , and there wasn’t a single recording in sight. I spent a lot of time on playing the game, and when I open up ScreenRecorder there’s no recording at all?? I’ll try out ScreenRecorder again tomorrow playing a different game, and if it doesn’t work again, imma honestly start losing hope since this seems like the best mobile screen recording app out there :( If it does happen again, please fix it! So, the first time I did a little quick recording (as a test) with ScreenRecorder, it worked out just fine, the editing features were great, & I was excited to record background gameplay with ScreenRecorder. I press ‘record’, & I even double check to see if it was recording right. It was. So, I open up the Pocket Camp Animal Crossing, & record some gameplay. I got a good 25-30 minutes in, so I thought that was enough gameplay. I click the ‘stop recording’ button, & the recording isn’t there! I do this a few more times to just see if it’s a bug, or not. & it still doesn’t show up in the recordings. So, I’ve wasted some time recording **nothing** really. I don’t know if it’s just that specific game that doesn’t record right, but then again, it did work just fine with the first quick recording I did. I even tried closing it & reopening it again. But, I don’t know. It might just be a problem with my iPad, who knows. Again, if this bug didn’t occur, I would have given this a 5-star rating. The features I first saw were quite appealing, so I won’t give this a 1-star rating.

Things were going well when I download ScreenRecorder . I could record my screen, there was no problems at all until it won’t let me record anymore! I pressed the record button but it won’t record!! I tried as many ways as I can to get it working but it just doesn’t work at all anymore! I tried to delete it and download it again but that doesn’t work either!! I’ve been struggling to get it to work but it just doesn’t work. I don’t recommend ScreenRecorder for some others out there, it won’t work any more once you use ScreenRecorder more, the more bugs that will happen. I hope that this will get fixed. Who ever made ScreenRecorder, please fix this bug that I have or some others have too. I would really appreciate it if you fix this bug. Thanks for reading this. Honestly this was one of the best screen recorders I have ever used. It doesn’t cost money, you can record as long as you want. It’s easy to set up and there was a setting for both if you wanted to speak over it or if you wanted to just let the audio from ScreenRecorder or website you were recording do it for you, without background noise. My only issue was that, if you had headphones in, it wouldn’t record any noise, just noise with the microphone. However, a new problem has arose. On certain websites now, the screen recorder isn’t recording the sounds that come from the websites and apps. It’s like the headphone thing, but I don’t necessarily have to have headphones plugged in. So please, Alloy Studios, if you’re reading this, please fix this issue (and possibly the headphone one if that isn’t mechanically impossible, but I wouldn’t want to sound like a burden) and get back to being the best screen recorder I’ve ever used.

The one thing that some gamers need is a pause button,please add one it’s going to get anoying to wait there and watch all of this useless footage that we don’t really need so if you need an idea for where to place the pause button just place it on the red mark that shows when your recording and instead of saying “stop recording”it should say “do you want to pause/continue” so when it pauses it shows a different color instead of red(or maybe let the person chose the color so that they’ll get used to it instead of red of course) then you should press it again to continue and change the color back the red so if you do read this and decide to add this then that will be amazing and me and some other people who need this pause in here will be very happy

I’m a YouTuber, so I needed ScreenRecorder. It’s been working great until I pressed the record button on the thing, and then I could never stop recording it. The red bar wasn’t showing up but nothing was working. I went to the settings and erased it from the control thing then added it back, it stopped but when i pressed record again, the whole entire process started back up again. It’s making me really frustrated.
And after it started not working, every single time I thought I was recording, I checked back when I was “done with my video” it wasn’t recording for the whole time! I don’t know if I’m using it right. I don’t know if it’s my fault or this apps fault so I won’t point fingers and say to not get this. But what I will say if if your a patient and problem-solving person, go ahead. But if your a person that would usually rage quit,... then I don’t know. But hopefully this will work in the future!

I downloaded this game because I thought it would be fun. But no it’s not because why? I was going to Norman to visit my cousins and before I downloaded it. I tried to work it in the car but no no no. It said does not work when car play or air play is active. And I was like “hm maybe doesn’t work in the car?” And after 2 nights at Norman I went home and I was probably gonna know that it would work at my own house because it surely did not work in mini and poppies house so I’m like “well then it should obviously work in my house” but ugh no. It did not. I asked my mom what was wrong with it and then she said “maybe the game isn’t meant to play on” and guess what? She was right! It sadly did not work. Hmm I guess I’m not on the right device then, because I saw other reviews that say “hey this is a good game it works yay” or whatever like that but hey listen I’m not trying to be rude but this game would be fun but turns out it isn’t sorry I would give it 5 stars but nope. Not a good game at this rate.

I have an iPhone 6 and ScreenRecorder works perfectly on it. I’m very impressed about it. I have a few problems though. When you open the video it’s very laggy and glitchy I don’t know if it’s a tiny bug or what please fix it! That’s basically all the problems I have to be honest. ScreenRecorder is very useful to record things besides the small problem. Overall I’d recommend for you get this! I also downloaded this is on my IPad I followed the instructions on how to make an video on it (Because I didn’t know if you had to do the same thing on IPad to record it) It tells you to swipe up and then you can begin recording but my IPad doesn’t have that side where there’s flashlight and stuff. Could you maybe have another way of recording? Thanks!

I was enjoying ScreenRecorder but then it wouldn’t record and sometimes randomly record and it won’t save any of my stuff I have to wait an hour to let it save to my photos and sometimes the mic randomly turns on and off so I loved ScreenRecorder at first but as soon as I got it my phone says storage full but I only have 5 pic saved on my phone and like four apps then my phone just randomly started crashing and getting me off apps and that happened only 2 days after I got ScreenRecorder and I click record start talking make a 20 min vid and then it tells me I didn’t record anything but then it randomly told me It saved 5 videos on my phone and I went to go check it out but nothing was there I really hope you take care of this but for now my rating is three stars I hope I can change it higher soon

Okay so I really needed a new screen recorder because my other one had complications. I found this one and it looked pretty decent! I watched the tutorials and stuff and just messed around with it. So I went to my settings to see if that worked and it did!! This is really awesome! Because I can just swipe down and record any great moments! So I highly recommend getting ScreenRecorder! It works perfectly because it saves it to your camera roll, so you can trim it etc. It might take a few seconds because it has to load. But it does work!!! So if you a YouTuber like me, I would definitely get ScreenRecorder.

Listen its a good app and all and i would recommend it but can you make to where we can start face cam at any moment in the video and turn it off while the video still go’s and then add it back in that would be great for example whenever i want to start face cam in the middle of the video it starts it at the beginning and i dont wanna do that plz take my advice and ad an adjustment to it second thing can you add cool stuff that u can put in the videos u make,like gifs,stickers/pics,music and merge some of them or all of them or seperated ye know stuff like that,that u can get from both ScreenRecorder or the internet if u could just do that i PROMISE you people would just LOVE ScreenRecorder it would be the best screen recorder probably in ScreenRecorder store,anyway thanks for taking your time readind this i wish ScreenRecorder good luck on the journey.

When i play fortnite and record it on my ipad pro i make sure everything has been prepared but when i click the record button then after i record i look at my video of fortnite it lags a bit when i play its sorta like glitching but when i updated it the lag lessened but still now there are still some of the glitches added to my recorder please fix it if you can if you can not i will still hold on to this recorder but its the only one i have but it would be much appreciated if u fixed it because my 11 . IOS recorder doesnt work it just stops i would reccomend go record more than IOS 11 recorder cause it stops but go record doesnt stop but lags and glitches but its only a couple of times so i was wondering if you can work it out :) thank you

It’s a really good app but I don’t think Face cam should be real money because let’s say you’re a real you tuber and do you want to show your face you would download ScreenRecorder or you buy a real camera to show your face and that really cost lots of money so I think as a face cam should be free I have another complaint my other complaint is that sometimes it doesn’t save my videos I’ve done up to pics art ones and It didn’t save but I think this is a really good up I think it should be free and It is but I think that it should just really Just think FaceTime shout be free and not be money because that’s a rip off because you bought ScreenRecorder and you didn’t say that face cam cost money and let’s say really really need it it’s just a rip off if the face cam is not free

Umm, hi. I have an earlier version of an IPhone (something like a 6 or 7) and I recorded maybe three videos but only the short 14 second video of me testing the audio showed up. The others did give me notifications, but when I clicked on them to see my videos there wasn’t one there. Do the videos need maybe 30 minutes to upload to ScreenRecorder or did they not load at all? Maybe a glitch. I won’t get rid of ScreenRecorder , and I know that the video feature works because I got one short one, but is there a limit to the time or does it stop working when you use an app like a game? Just wondering. Please respond if you know what’s going on! I couldn’t find anything online about this happening.

ScreenRecorder works great I can do everything I wanna do record anything I want it and it won’t do anything but record it it’s perfect I can record my entire screen and send a video to people or just watch it later but there’s one problem. I’m talking just one I can’t find anything else Bad about this, so um ScreenRecorder it’s a little storage taking.I tried to record for like a little bit and then boom it tells me my storage is full I tried deleting some apps to get sum space But I guess I just don’t have a lot of space either it’s my tablet is that’s the problem or it’s ScreenRecorder I hope you can get ScreenRecorder to take less space I really like it and I wanna keep it

I love ScreenRecorder. I’m not that good of a singer but I came up with an idea and now I kinda like singing. I went to my camera roll and took a video of me singing drivers license (don’t judge it was the first thing that came to mind) then I went to screen record and recorded me singing over myself in that video then I did that a bunch of times so now I have me singing over me singing over me singing over me singing over me and it actually sounds really cool. The only thing is I was looking for an app to screen record on FaceTime so I could show my friends my screen but this was wayyyy better. 😁😁😁🥰

It’s a great app i just wish you didn’t have to pay to have your face in the corner of videos! I also wish you could crop the videos you take with it! Because it would make it a lot easier to record gacha videos! Other than that it’s all together a great app with cool features! You can also still record videos without having to pay you just can’t see yourself in the videos! I also wish you could record pause and record again instead of having to take multiple videos. If you make an update please consider some of these things! It would definitely make ScreenRecorder a lot more popular!

When I recorded a video it turned off. So I made another part, when I finished recording (even though I didn't finish the video) I only got the last part of the video. And the other video was only two seconds long. Even though I remembered I filmed much more. I don't recommend ScreenRecorder. The gameplays I tried to do came out terrible,and the last time I tried to add facecam (I didn't do it this time 'cause I didn't finish any videos) it just made me stuck on a loading screen. In my opinion; it's a horrible app and I don't recommend it if you want to make any gameplays etc. or any type of screen recording. It's just my opinion, no hate on the company it just doesn't work for me. I'm guessing there's alot of bugs. So I would say... developers, please fix any bugs. Because these are probably mistakes/bugs. So I don't blame you. And also sometimes the recording just stops by itself that's also annoying. So those are just the 3 problems I have with ScreenRecorder . Overall great app! 😊 :)

Okay, so I was recording some speed paints on my iPad, but when I stop to check if the recordings are there, they were all gone. Can you fix this? And sometimes, I get this thing where it says “stopped recording because of null.” Huh, strange. Why did I get that? This kinda annoys me because I want to record my speed paints and speed things up to see how much time I’ve taken to make arts. I’m kinda bummed out because of these errors that are in my way. So please, can you fix these errors because I don’t like it when my recordings doesn’t save and I don’t understand the “null” error thing.

I tested ScreenRecorder by making a short recording about a minute long, worked pretty nicely. I was satisfied with the quality and audio. So I did a recording that was 5 minutes long, it didn’t appear at first but actually came up in my Photos section after half a minute or so. So after the tests, I decided to make another recording and this time it turned out to be 20 minutes long. It was an intense match and I wanted to save it, but after pressing the stop recording button, it never appeared. The recording I did never appeared and I do not see a sign of it in ScreenRecorder or in my Photos. It never even gave me a sign of the recording saving or not. Fortunately I had a picture of the end results of my match, so not all was lost. But the recording, was.

Ok so I got ScreenRecorder and it was really good and worked well. I was recording in pics art because I like to make art in there. But one time I finished recording me making a piece and it appeared in my camera roll instead of ScreenRecorder . I had chosen the option of it going to ScreenRecorder earlier and I thought it would stay, but it didn’t. And sadly there is no way to transfer a recording to ScreenRecorder from my camera roll to edit it. Also, and this is a bigger problem, I will get halfway through a project and then a notification will pop up saying it has stopped recording do to null. What does null mean? I don’t know, but what I do know is that if this happens all of the footage I recorded won’t save anywhere and I lose all of my work. I sincerely hope the developers fix this problem and that someday I will be able to use ScreenRecorder again.

You said you fixed the disappearing screen recording issue? Well you didn't, because I recorded a long screen recording of me playing a game. Went to check if it was there because it's happened to me before, and surprise!!!! It. WASN'T. THERE. Fix your app or simply get rid of it because I'm sick and tired of this, and I'm losing hope because this is or WAS the best screen recorder I've ever have or HAD. And I've downloaded and deleted plenty. - A NOT satisfied customer. I'm back with another problem,what is null and why won't it go away? I've recording videos back to back on a game and ALWAYS right in the middle of recordingit always says it stopped recording due to null. The heck is null?! Fix this piece of crap app, because it's all we have. It can't even record a minute. ScreenRecorder is straight up broken.

I’m sure ScreenRecorder works very well! I was a bit nervous to download because it spoke of the recording freezing or the video not saving, but I took my chances. The thing is, in the tutorial it says to press the recording button. S i g h. I don’t have a recording button, therefore it does not work for iPad Minis (not sure about iPads, but I don’t think so, either). I was very excited to have an app I could record my Speedpaints with but it didn’t work for me. Again, I’m sure ScreenRecorder works very well so I’m giving it a three star rating. I assume most of this is Apple’s fault because they didn’t give us iPad Mini people a recording button. But hey, when they do, I can’t wait to use ScreenRecorder ! ;)

This screen recorder is as simple as it gets. You press a button and wait for the countdown and you are recording. There seems to be a glitch where if you do not wait on the “pull-up menu” for the countdown to finish, it will sometimes not record at all. There is also this extremely horrible glitch where if you change the volume it will completely stop all audio for the remainder of the recording session. This also happens if you are recording your own voice and you change the way your audio is captured (If you are recording your voice through headphones and unplug them so you could charge your phone, all audio will stop. This happened to me). I’m not sure if this is a thing that could be changed but if it can be, this is top priority.

ScreenRecorder popped up when I was looking for an easy screen record set up for my phone for my reaction videos. Super, super easy to use and they guide you through with an introduction video when you’re setting up, unlike 90 percent of the other screen recording apps I’ve tried out.
This is one of those rare apps where they don’t use adverts, which is even better for navigation, plus you don’t have to go back to ScreenRecorder every time you’re doing a reaction video and need to use the feature.
100 percent recommended 💁‍♀️

It’s an excellent screen recorder BUT the problem is the audio which they admit. One thing I noticed is you have to HOLD the circular record button to start it off then it will give you an option to turn the microphone on SO make sure you do that, but then if you edit the video later in the program (like rotating it, etc) then you might just all of a sudden lose the audio, which can be very frustrating and waste your time. Until they fix this the program is not so good. I’m still using it just because I don’t have an alternative right now and it is very convenient when it does work for my purposes
