I’ve used MCTSTracker for 6+ years and at first I didn’t have too many issues with it, but recently I moved and started taking a different bus than usual and MCTSTracker has become completely and entirely useless. I’ve been late to work half a dozen times solely because of bus drivers being late and MCTSTracker not showing accurate information. It will say that a bus is approaching a stop when it’s not, it will say that a bus came and went and then I see the bus go by 4 minutes later after I’ve already left the bus stop. And every single day the buses disappear from the map once they reach a certain area in Milwaukee and then reappear as they get closer. When this happens MCTSTracker will say the bus is 5 minutes away, then 4, then 3 and then the bus reappears on the map and it goes back up to 5 or 6 minutes. Combine the unreliability of MCTSTracker with bus drivers being inconsiderate and you have an awful public transit system.

MCTSTracker gives you a time of arrival that is off by 5+ minutes(early). Tells you bus will arrive in 18minutes, when you check 10 minutes later it says bus is arriving in 2 minutes, causing you to not make it to the bus stop in time and missing your ride. Should have said bus was arriving in 12 minutes when i first checked it. I understand time being late if bus is delayed but not early. Don't trust MCTSTracker. Use the actual app sponsored by MKE transit, which allows you to also purchase bus fair.

Everything works fine except using the Route tab. Clicking that tab brings up the language option and I select English and immediately get an error saying I’m not connected to the Internet. I have both Wi-Fi and cellular data turned on and obviously I’m writing this review using the Internet. Not being able to use the Route tab makes MCTSTracker useless.

This is trash. Umos is trash too. The buses are not where this ap says they are. You’re standing at the corner and one page of this ap is like: bus is arriving now, then the map page of the ap shows no bus for miles. Then the actual bus shows up 5 mins later.

These robot overlords are just playing with us.

I use MCTSTracker every day and every day it is consistently wrong. Says my bus is “approaching stop” when it is over half a mile away, says it is approaching for 20+ minutes or will not show up at all. Sometimes times fluctuate so much it will say I have 20 minutes until a bus arrives and 5 minutes later it says it’s 5 minutes away, then back up to 10 minutes moments later. There has never been consistency with it for the past several years I have used it. Really hoping this can get resolved.

When MCTSTracker works it’s great. But there’s many times when a bus (specifically on route 30) will be operating but not showing on MCTSTracker . At first I thought it was a problem with the bus itself, but when I use Google maps the bus will show, so some bug is preventing certain busses from showing on the MCTS app.

MCTSTracker is great. Its really easy to use and everything you need is right there for you. However, I would like for it to has the directions of one place to another and for it to tell you in detail of which route to use and when to change route. It used to have it but now it has been removed. Please fix this.

It’s down right now, thank god I had a backup app otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten to work. MCTSTracker is better than the official app WHEN IT ACTUALLY WORKS UNLIKE NOW because it shows the bus stops on the map when you’re on route so you know when to signal the driver and not be too late or early

App is great in general, but whenever I try to find a route from one place to another, in the directions section, whatever place I look for, MCTSTracker says “ no results found” and also says that they’re troubleshooting with my location?

MCTSTracker is usually really great but the last few weeks I haven’t been able to utilize the directions component of MCTSTracker . This makes it difficult to go anywhere new or time my commute. I’ve tried everything to fix it so at this point I think it’s an issue with MCTSTracker .

MCTSTracker is good it is pretty much real time and comes on time. But I would like a offline feature and a feature for the Apple Watch for those people who have that technology.

I love MCTSTracker! The only issue I’ve noticed is that when you’re tracking a bus that has a detour, the bus will disappear from the route on the map once it takes the detour. Normally this isn’t an issue, but with the 15 there’s an extended detour due to streetcar construction.

The MCTS Tracker is a great app to have; however for the past few days I noticed that choosing routes to look up scheduled arrival times have disappeared. I was thinking maybe a bug got to it and was therefore waiting for an update, but I see there are no updates. Can this issue be troubleshooted?

I had the issue below and now it's fixed. I'm back in love. The route I routinely use MCTSTracker for now has the route number incorrect so, the map tracker says there are no buses on the route to track. 57 does not have a D.

When I click the search route button, it tells me to select a language and then it tells me that it can not fetch and to make sure I am connected to the internet, even though I clearly am. I have erased and redownloaded MCTSTracker and it still does it.

I love MCTSTracker so much! It has saved me so much time when taking the bus. I love how it plans out everything for you so you can get places on time.

MCTSTracker is a year old and it’s still better than the up-to-date Umo.

The most accurate way of knowing where your bus is and when to expect it at your location.

I need to be Know what time the bus is coming to stop bus before I’m ready for riding a bus.

I understand the times aren’t always gonna be on yo the T but a lot of times the bus is missing the time mark by a good 6-7 mins.
