Love Patchwork & Quilting Reviews

I was reluctant to buy this magazine at my local fabric shop because it was sealed in plastic and I couldn’t look inside. I had a birthday gift card so took a leap of faith and bought it. Oh my!! I instantly fell in love with all the modern quilt patterns, reviews on fabric and notions and the overall feel of the magazine. I found more quilts in one magazine, that I wanted to make, then in most of the quilt books that I looked at that day. I have not turned back since, and I cannot wait for each new issue to come out. Buy this, you will not be disappointed.

I loved looking at the hard copy, but being in the States it was so expensive to purchase. The online version has totally solved that problem! I bought all the back issues when they were on special and now I have them all to drool over! I take them on my iPad wherever I go and I can print out the templates at home. Thanks for a great magazine with a great app!

I love this magazine, and when it works, it’s absolutely wonderful. I am subscribed through iTunes and semi-frequently need to delete LovePatchworkQuilting and re-download to get the content. When I try to open an issue that’s included in my subscription I often get stuck with a black screen and a 0% frozen on it. I’m pretty frustrated because it’s been happening more often than not recently, and I might switch to the physical magazine instead.

Again, the content is beautiful, modern, and well taught through the instructions, but LovePatchworkQuilting experience leaves a lot to be desired for me.

Update- dropped to one star because I had to reinstall LovePatchworkQuilting twice in a day due to the above issue.

Every magazine is filled with wonderful projects and ideas. The designers’ originality and creativity is inspiring in every issue. I love that templates are provided at the website.

Most always LovePatchworkQuilting works great. Occasionally, it has hiccups loading but they don’t last long. My solution is to close it out and reload LovePatchworkQuilting (my only complaint).

This is a fav mag and I love the way it's laid out. Fresh ideas, modern and some are funny like the mounted deer heads made of modern fabrics. I made these for my Maine cottage. Always complements! App works perfectly! I view it on iPhone 7 and iPad mini. Wish I could get it on MacBook but ,oh well. I can print all I need.

Since they changed LovePatchworkQuilting a few months ago, I can’t multitask on my iPad. Quilters often have tv shows/movies on while they work. But with the new app, every time you swipe to a new page, the video stops. There are no videos in LovePatchworkQuilting , but it stops whatever I am watching from playing. It’s really problematic. :(

I bought all the back issues. Fast and easy access. I haven't even visited all the issues yet😊

This is probably the worst app I have. I can rarely read a magazine. Constant crashes are the norm and not being able to open the magazine at all is typical. I’ve been subscribing to LovePatchworkQuilting since close to the inception and its time they figured this out. Updates don’t address the problems.

Being new to quilting I bought LovePatchworkQuilting with the intention of learning and being able to make some nice projects for people. But just now I was sent an email to update LovePatchworkQuilting , and when I did it now will not let me access.

Convenient to take along wherever and whenever!

I love LovePatchworkQuilting! Now I can read my favorite magazine for a third of the newsstand price and it comes with all the templates ready to print. It's great!

Love, love, love this magazine. I have made about 4 Quilts from this mag. I have it on my iPad but try to get the hard copy when I can!

Love the magazine. Have been a subscriber for over a year. Filled with beautiful, doable modern quilt projects and patterns from all the popular quilt bloggers, latest fabric lines and quilting products.
Sometimes LovePatchworkQuilting says I don't own an issue or two that I know I do. Sometimes restoring purchases works, sometimes it doesn't. That's my only 'beef'.

LovePatchworkQuilting is horrible. I have paid for 45 issues and none will download. I’ve deleted and reinstalled LovePatchworkQuilting , attempted to work with their support group, etc. No luck. Now they are simply not responding to me. Wish I had simply purchased the magazine, as the content is fantastic.

I love this magazine; but LovePatchworkQuilting is completely terrible!

This is a wonderful magazine. However, all of the special editions that are available for purchase disappears from all of my Pocketmag apps. I have quite a few, so this was quite devastating. I have made repeated requests for help, but get no answers, just the same information that is on the support site, such as to update to the new app (did that the day they were released) restore purchases (did that first), Sync (did that next, the tried restore again). After doing all of that to no avail I then started emailing support and am getting no help at all. Be warned and be sure you're cord every single purchase and keep up with which issues you have purchased because I have also lost access to some of my precious prescription purchases.
If someone will actually take me seriously and help me, I will remove this review and rating

Once a new issue is available I can only view it one time on LovePatchworkQuilting . After that, anytime I try to click "view" on any issue, it starts to load and is stuck at 0% meaning I have basically wasted my money because I got to flip through an issue once and can never see it or use patterns / read quilt instructions ever again. Just canceled my subscription. Not a new problem for me - this has been happening since last year. At one point I deleted LovePatchworkQuilting for several months the then re-downloaded for a particular issue I really wanted but unfortunately the same problems persist.

Look forward to every issue. Rarely is there an issue I don't make something from. Clear directions, many patterns each issue to choose from, big variety of designers whe regularly contribute.

As a digital subscriber, not being able to print the templates from LovePatchworkQuilting is a pain. I enjoyed being able to print just the page of instruction I was working on so that I can use my iPad for watching a movie while I sew.

Ever since Issue 24 was released NONE of the previous issues I purchased will load on LovePatchworkQuilting at all. Prior to that Issue 23 was missing steps 3-11 of the entire process for the cover quilt and no one from the magazine would reply to my emails or FB inquiries. Finally had to contact the woman who made the pattern itself to get a reply. Plus I got charged 2x for Issue 23 through iTunes. Now I can't even view any of the magazines that I paid for to make the quilts. Pretty upset I wasted my money.
