Be sure to read the really long description of ZonePlay . Lots of words (blah, blah, blah) that make it sound like this Apple Watch app does a lot, but all it really does is “pause and play” and volume. You can’t even move to the next song, let alone choose music. Not helpful for me.

I guess I would not be so unhappy with its limited usefulness if I had paid $0.99, but is it worth $3.99? NO WAY.
Keep your money until a useful Sonos Apple Watch app is available.
A waste of money

Just downloaded ZonePlay and connected to my Sonos. That went fine. However none of my music is showing up, every category is empty. Any ideas? Unfortunately their website does not offer any help whatsoever.

iPhone connected to Sonos just fine. ZonePlay installed on the watch, but when I open ZonePlay on the watch it says “Pleas connect to the Sonos system with the this app app on iPhone first”

ZonePlay has worked once or twice but the vast majority of the time it doesn’t find my Sonos system on my WiFi network.

Works but will not stay open on iWatch like Apple Music does. Having to dig through the watch apps every time you want to control the music is definitely NOT ideal.

I use a VPN on my phone. When the VPN is enabled the ZonePlayer CANNOT find any Sonos speakers on your network.

If your ok with compromising your security then ZonePlay /iWatch support is 4 star. If this were fixed a few more features would make this a 5.

Love everything about this app for the Apple Watch. It works great for me especially in the shower controlling my Sonos system. I wish there was one feature that would make this flawless. Allow the volume to be controlled via the Digital Crown. It would be so useful. In the shower it is very hard to control on the watch because it requires such a specific tap. Keep up the great work!

This is exactly the watch app I was looking for! The UI is focused and gives you control of all zones, as well as the option to play music from your Sonos favorites. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it doesn't display the artist or song title for TuneIn Radio stations, just the station name. Seems to work perfectly for Pandora and Rdio, so hopefully a future version will fix that. Overall, great app!

I downloaded this hoping to get some basic controls for my watch. Honestly I would've been happy with pause/play, skip and volume for each zone.

You're able to group/ungroup zones. Force touch from the list of zones page gives you the pause all option. You can go to your favorites and start playing them in any zone or zone grouping. You can turn on cross fade, repeat, shuffle via more options while force touching from a zone group that is playing.

All this is pretty solid from a watch app. Add the ability to start from a playlist and not just the favorites and I can't really see it getting any better. Thanks for ZonePlay !

To bad Sonos didn't do their own app. This works awesome. It will only show your favorites for your play list (which is how many Apple Watch apps work). At first I didn't think the volume controls worked, but realize you have to tap, tap, tap on the volume buttons; maybe add that in the instructions). This is perfect!

I’ve been waiting so long for ZonePlay to return to my Apple Watch! Hard to workout and try to manipulate volume controls on my Sonos with my phone........using Google for precise volume control is sketchy when the volume is cranking.....so welcome home my long lost friend. Now if only I could control my Sonos Move when it’s in blue tooth mode????

A very satisfying product.

It controls volume, skips tracks forward or back, and chooses music from your favorites, even for a zone that was previously turned off.

ZonePlay 's "glance" support makes for very quick access to ZonePlay itself. When swiping up, Apple Watch conveniently returns to the last used glance, which for me is frequently this app.

ZonePlay has been very quick to load and I really appreciate that, when switching from the glance to ZonePlay , it remembers and returns to the last screen used, such as the player controls for the room I'm in.

Before getting the watch, I envisioned a Sonos controller as a very big plus. Thanks to this app it actually is.

I originally bought this for the ability to control Sonos from my Apple Watch and Notification Center. But the new feature of being able to "send to" Sonos from WITHIN Apple Music makes this a 10 star app. I've been wanting this feature since the day I got Sonos!

The functions on the iPhone and Apple Watch are intuitively very clear, and I was able to choose a Sonos Favorite and have it playing in a selected zone in less than a minute. When I found that I could not only control volume and skip tracks on the iWatch but also change and choose other songs, my Sonos system and Apple Watch just jumped a magnitude in utility and delight.

Got ZonePlay awhile ago but didn't use it much. They have been continuing to update ZonePlay and now I use it all the time. Two main uses for me. I can now use apple music app to play through sonos. Select a song, album, playlist etc and do a share sheet play the music through sonos. Works awesome. I also use the apple watch app to control pause, play and volume. You can also select playlists on the watch. Seriously if sonos had any brains it would buy this company.

Like most people I sought out ZonePlay for it's Apple Watch support, which works fantastic, just leaps and bounds better than Kronos which I had been using with iffy consistency. The kicker is I use ZonePlay more than the Sonos Controller App because I can access my favorite playlists faster since it has a widget that prevents me from needing to go into ZonePlay most of the time.

Granted, the Sonos Controller supports things in the iPad like multi-window which render the widget mostly useless on the iPad Pro, but I still have zoneplayer on my iPad.

The short of it is this is embarrassing how Sonos, who is a close Apple partner that sells their products INSIDE Apple stores, doesn't even natively support the Apple Watch a product on nearly 10 million wrists.

Had downgraded my rating to a 1 Star after this app lost support for the Apple Watch, but now it’s it has been restored I am upgrading back to 5 stars. Great app.
