I purchased the Contec Portable ECG Monitor. App no longer works to show results of abnormal ECG. App says preparing report and to check back in 2 minutes but never prepares the report or the ECG printout. Total waste of money buying the Contec hardware.

Unable to open app, will not give captcha to enter when trying to register. Tried regustering by cell# and tried by email, nothng sent to confirm. Better prodycts with better support elsewhere

Avoid contec devices

The purpose for me buying this, was so I could sync seamlessly with HealthKit and record the health data. You can't register, so PHMS is completely useless! You put in your cell number so a captcha can be sent to you, for verification (which doesn't really make sense to begin with) and the captcha is never sent to you. It's impossible to get past the registration step without this. I will be returning the device as well, as this was the main reason I purchased from Contec.

I've been working on trying to register for more than hour and keep running into problems. Don't know if I will ever get to use app. The device is not user friendly so expectations of app are low.

I can't even get past the verification step of the registration because they won't send the captcha, and there is absolutely no app support. No response to my emails.

Can’t register

Very frustrating registration process. Tried to input weight and app froze so I deleted and reinstalled app and now can't register because it says my phone is already registered and tells me to log in with no existing user name because I never had the option to pick one yet...I have a password but no username and their is no link to reset username.

Scanned box, doesn't work. Can't get ap to work without it. Please help.

I don't have the device yet, but I wanted to make sure PHMS worked first. I was able to register, and now PHMS seems fully functional.

The first problem is that you can't leave PHMS to check the captcha text, or it restarts completely. When I got back in the same captcha still worked, so that's just inconvenient.

Once you submit, it tells you the password is the last 6 digits of the phone number. What it doesn't tell you: the 10 digit phone number is your USERNAME. You probably won't be able to complete registration, but now you can log in with the phone number as username.

I hope this saves someone from a rage-induced cardiac event.
