NumberFire = Fire Content!

I’ve been using Numberfire for the longest time, atleast 3-4 years now. I remember when they followed me on twitter 3-4 years now and had no clue what they were, well 4 years or so later they’ve helped me TONS! I always look forward to their podcasts, always a good time passer that’s educational at work. You should 10/10 download numberFireFantasySports , read all the articles and listen to their podcasts! #Babytron #JimLovesNorthWestern

Customer Support

I reached out to their customer support about a month ago, requested a call back, received a call back, and had a productive conversation with one of their customer support representatives. However, I reached back out to them this past week and I have heard absolutely nothing back from them in return. I am getting a little frustrated as we talked about how the website and numberFireFantasySports (potentially) can be changed/edited. Now, I feel like I have no contact with anyone and have been “ghosted”

App is weak, Premium sub not worth it

So. numberFireFantasySports has nothing to it. It is a super scaled down version of the desktop site.

My biggest gripe after getting the premium subscription last night, and getting a chance to review the content, realized it’s not worth the money and don’t want to get charged again. Go to cancel, the only option is to remove the subscription immediately. 9.99 for 12 hours. You don’t even get the month you pay for. Good gig you got there JJ.

Good app

The (all sport) drop down menu is not loading, used to be able to highlight football or whichever sport and now it won’t here recently

Nicely Done, Needs Some Fixing

Great concept. When it grows more it will certainly be a popular app. Some bugs need to be fixed, crashes here and there. Also suggest, if possible, not having to login each time. I logged in using Yahoo and it asks me to accept the API terms each time. Needs more instruction detail when creating a question. Needs to have a button to display results when somebody votes on your own question. Overall, clean app and great to get every fantasy players opinion.

Requires an account to access. Unacceptable.

Title says it all. You cannot get past the title screen without creating an account. I’m looking for an app based delivery of the online content. Not another dang account I need to login to and a password to forget. Get with it numberfire.

App neglects league play

***DISCLAIMER:
First off, I am a fan of NumberFire's logarithms and I feel they do have a very good system for ranking players weekly and through the season. This is not a gripe or negative review of number fire itself, solely numberFireFantasySports .

***APP COMPLAINTS:
While I think there are good ideas in numberFireFantasySports , I like their content and articles but there's no thought really given in their projections for season long PPR or standard scoring LEAGUES. I understand how huge daily fantasy play is now, but there are still those of us that are traditionalist and focus only on season long play. While I believe I can log into the actual website on my phone and change the projection parameters slightly to either PPR or NPPR, it's still mainly focused on fan duel, draftkings, and yahoo. It would be nice to have access to projections with a filter for some of the other standard play leagues such as CBS, ESPN, etc.

MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that app doesn't have any of the filters that website even has which itself isn't even spot on. numberFireFantasySports only lets you choose between week, rest of season, and start of season projections. No differentiation between PPR or NPPR scoring which is obviously an incredibly flawed way to look at rankings if you're trying to break some ties in setting your lineup. They need to allow numberFireFantasySports to give all of the functionality on the projections as most, as I honestly feel their numbers are much better than aggregators like Fantasy Pros. Especially at the QB position.

If a few simple things that would let you drilldown to what you specifically need to look at would be addressed, I think it would be an outstanding app, and my go-to for setting my lineup each week as well as waiver pick ups, Sounds good etc.

Needs a lot more work

I don't know how all the reviews are positive so far, but this seems like an app that was rolled out too soon--before the glitches were addressed. Headlines, top stories, and other articles or player news isn't even formatted for your screen, so everything gets cut off. Additionally, when you click on the headline of a story, you remain on the same page--it doesn't actually bring you to the article, so all you can ever see is just the headline. When approaching it from an alternate way in numberFireFantasySports , it, again, takes you back to the list of article headlines with links that take you nowhere.

This could be great because numberfire is great, but numberFireFantasySports is a total fail so far. If they want to incorporate all they have to offer on their website, they still have some work to do. I don't think everyone interested in downloading numberFireFantasySports just want to answer questions all day. I view numberfire as a resource--not a game.

Crowdsourcing my tough lineup decisions

Every week, I have one lineup decision that needs a tiebreaker vote. Most sites recommend a player solely based on his projections in their scoring format. NumberFire offers dynamic, yet uniform options for posing a question so I always get at least 30 votes from other fantasy players. It's easy to vote on other players' dilemmas too. Performance on your answers to questions are ranked so everyone is incentivized to consider carefully. Love it, so far.

Love the concept but technical problem with ipad

Voting is unresponsive part of the time for questions coming through the feed and unresponsive 100% of the time when voting from another users profile. I use numberFireFantasySports exclusively on a 3rd generation ipad with most current version of ios. I suspect it works as intended on iPhone 5.

Very convenient way to crowd source information. Worth looking into for players on any level.

Fun content and interaction

It's a little hard to view your scores on answered questions in one place. The ranking page isn't clear to me. I'm more interested in what my points we're vs points possible, and what daily/weekly/monthly high scores were.

That aside, fun app with good content.

Can't get logged in

I love numberfire's website but I hate their login process. They force you to log in with some other social media instead of making a local account. So when I try to log into numberFireFantasySports with Facebook, as I do on the website, it takes me to a web browser and asks for my credentials. After entering them, Facebook informs me that I am already authenticated with number fire and my only option is to click done. Doing so takes me to a blank screen with no other option. Just a matter of two systems not playing well together. Guess I'll stick to the website.

By

Just Ok

The concept is cool but it pretty much ends there. You can't look at past stats to help people with their questions. In fact you can't answer questions the way numberFireFantasySports intends to, the only way you can do so is through comments. Doing this does not increase your rank and counts as just a comment. The open feature does not work. You can't receive notifications because it says "go answer some questions." So basically the main premise is to answer questions for other people and that main premise in effect does not work.

The best out there

I consider myself a "pro" DFS player capable of accurately projecting top lineups (sometimes). One thing I've noticed is very few sites care about the public. Most (Rotogrinders in particular) hide the best plays in order to line their own pockets. NumberFire is the exception to the rule. To my knowledge they are the only major site the public can trust to give accurate information.

You wouldn’t believe it

The interface of numberFireFantasySports is terrible and the site itself is outplayed by other Daily Fantasy sites but I couldn’t believe when I signed up for a monthly subscription at $9.99 on April 15 and canceled today (April 26) I lost access to the site immediately!!! I’ve been involved with a lot of subscription services of different genres over the years and this is a FIRST!! Don’t they owe me a prorated amount of 18 days ($5.99)?
