SportsManias: Emojis & Fantasy Reviews

Below is my original review, when SportsManias was not working. If the developer is correct, this is fixed now. It is working, and is fun; works as described. Feel safe to download.

No need to download this. He reviews here must be by the maker of SportsManias . The news is okay, although it loads slow, but it if you watch sports you already know a million better places to get sports news, so this is a useless feature.

The only fun feature would be nice emojis, which do not load. I've installed SportsManias twice, waited half an hour for the emojis to load (wifi and 4G so it's not my connection, iPhone 6S+ so it's not my phone). Restarted even, nothing made it work. I'll leave SportsManias on my phone this weekend, and give the developer until Monday to fix it. I tried using the "send feedback" feature, and while I created and account, and SportsManias saved my email, it errors over and over telling me I haven't given an email address. (Logged in with facebook.) So far, a total failure.

I used to love this keyboard but will no longer work...the keyboard flashes and quits every time. Is there an update that will fix the emoji keyboard?

Thank you for your response...I deleted all versions and added the updated version and works great again...I changed my review based on your timely response. Now if you could make a few more Chicago Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks and Bulls!

I can find all of my fave sports news in SportsManias, without having to go anywhere else because it's so convenient to find it all here. I am loving their new emojis! I like how they keep updating them so it's always fun to send to my friends.

Not bad not bad at all!!!!! I would give it a 5 but. It's lags a tiny bit when it's loading the gif but that's not that much of a problem that annoys me. The part I find annoying is that I find it frustrating when you are about to type and it takes you straight to the gif instead to the keyboard!😭 please fix😭😭😭 other than that enjoy SportsManias cause. It has a lot of good gif!!!

So I have an iPhone 6 and I downloaded this because I’m a big sports guy. But unfortunately this is advertised as a emoji product and there are none. I’d advise either taking the ap down until it is repaired or advertise as being able to select your teams and get only updates about them through messenger. It’s a good idea! But I have to delete it because it’s not what you say it is. What else is not what you say it is? Privacy settings maybe... access to my personal information... you’ll lose peoples interest you should have fixed this problem

I was only interested in SportsManias for the sports keyboard, however that quickly changed when I realized they needed full keyboard access. Full keyboard access gives them the ability to retrieve all your keyboard data, including everything you type. This can potentially contain sensitive information that you type. There’s no logical reason they would need this. As soon as I saw that I promptly deleted SportsManias . I felt like SportsManias is a scam so they can get sensitive information from people, disguised as a sports app. No thanks.

Thought SportsManias was a joke when I first got it. I did everything the instructions said to do, but I couldn’t find it. A week later, I happen to fat finger a button while texting and the animations showed up. Pretty cool after all, but I need more, cooler animations.

I have an iPhone 7 and downloaded this, did everything they said and I get no emojis just a blank screen. The news is cool that's the only reason it has 2 stars..**Update** emojis are now fixed and work. It'd be cool to get more emojis and update jerseys to be more realistic but for now it is a pretty cool addition to your phone

App is a blast but... Can’t use without allowing full access to keystroke data. Developers reply to my concern claims clearly that they don’t want and won’t use your personal info.

My recommendation is that they include that remark within the disclaimer. It would put a lot of privacy concerns at ease.

SportsManias is a complete waste of time… So for wasting my time I went and head and took the time to make this bad review about your app. Why do we constantly approve of apps going on Apple that do not work? If you are looking into SportsManias, I’m just trying to help you, don’t waste your time. SportsManias does not work at all… Whenever I go to text someone it doesn’t even show up… The idea of SportsManias is fantastic… Unfortunately an idea without action is just an idea not an app.

To use the emojis you must relinquish all privacy to this developer. ALL. Including banking info. Looks like the sight is cool except for one giant ditty: No place for all scores. Only the team's you pick as you favorites.

Developer, you have a few tweaks to make this a top trustable app. Keep learning and developing. Don't function as a shoddy personal private info grubbing app. Build a base with a quality product and let ads take care of you.

Just took a bit, mixed in w user error

Loaded and reloaded, allowed full keyboard access, have been waiting and no bits showing up. App is not listed as even being an option within keyboard.
I’ll wait it out a bit more and then delete

Why do I need to give full access to this app in order to use their emoji keyboard? Hard pass

Was told by developer that they do not want or use our data and that it is a boiler plate message auto generated by Apple. I don’t ever recall seeing that before, but it’s been a while since I’ve downloaded a third party keyboard. There ya go

I love SportsManias and I use it all the time.. but my favorite basketball team (Los Angeles Lakers) has no emojis! Please consider adding some emojis to Teams that don’t have any instead of adding like 3 emojis for a single team. I recommend adding a Kyle Kuzma emoji for the Lakers that says something like “Kuz Control”. Thank you, and again, a great app.

Why is it that I receive notifications about every team from every sport and not just the teams I selected as my favorite? It seems like a hassle to have to turn off each teams notifications manually. Is there any way to fix this without disabling notifications all together or all individually?..

I got SportsManias for both the texting and SportsManias usage. But when I click on certain links they don’t even show up. Also the adds that pop up from the bottom when I’m trying to read freeze SportsManias when I try to click out of it. Please fix this if you guys can. Thank you.

I just downloaded SportsManias . It is nice, however, in the NFL section, do you have any Saints players? If you don’t, you gotta. If you do, please show me. Thank you.

Ok, I found the Mark Ingram one. Thank you very much. Can you please include DREW BREES? After all, him and Brady are two of the best QBs in the league right now.

I love this up. Your quick with the notifications. I have a problem I got the IPhone x and SportsManias will not open up for nothing. Can you please fix this problem.

Love the emojis. Can’t find anything like them anywhere else. But, I love the sports news. My teams with current news without the rhetoric from Twitter.
