I love this app!

I use it to grade participation (1 point for doing and uploading the homework; one point for attending class; and one point for speaking in class). No more paper and I can work up everyone’s participation score in 1-2 hours for each half of the semester.

Polls work great for exams and there is automatic grading for multiple choice questions. I show everyone’s answers anonymously by student ID and the correct answer.

Live polling, at random and in PowerPoint, also gets everyone in the class involved, and it is fun to see live results change, such as how students rank the case studies we use. Anonymous polls are useful too.

Used in many of my classes. Easy way to track participation and the software is excellent. Surprise me how it’s free!

The lack of phone call option to request support is more than inconvenient. Since you have to interrupt your work, send an email and wait for a reply which will result in several hours of wasted time! So, if you’re planning on same day presentation, it’s better to avoid this software. Otherwise, if you have long time to prepare in advance, it’s a great tool.

Extremely buggy and can’t properly do the most basic aspects of PollEverywhere , to the point where it cost me on my final grade. Waiting to see whether the question posted actually appears is like flipping a coin, PollEverywhere is simply unreliable

We use PollEverywhere in med school to encourage student response and assessment. Works wonderfully well!

We use PE every day, love it

PollEverywhere doesn’t allow you to create a single poll without a subscription, yet the pricing is not visible until you give them all your sign up data. What a scam...don’t bother.

There is no way to sign up for PollEverywhere and you have to log in to do anything. They could have saved their time and money but simply not making an application at all!

After 19 failed attempts between my computer and iPhone I have given up trying to get this to work. It is useless

For friends that aren't doing twitter polls, you have a window! Make a product to sell to apple.

I can’t sign up for PollEverywhere

I am writing this review from the perspective of a teacher who is using wanting to use this almost exclusively for presenting from my iPad. No offense, but unless PollEverywhere has the same display as the online version or the powerpoint add-in, there is really no point to it. It does not display the text number, the timer, and the clear responses features in presentation mode. If these features were added I would use PollEverywhere all the time. Safari doesn't do a very good job displaying the Poll Everywhere website so I can hardly use my iPad for that either. Would really use your incredible polling services more often if you made these changes to PollEverywhere . Thanks!

I love this idea. Trying to use this in conjunction with GroupMe to get quick input from a group of 5 people I work with regularly. The mobile app is fairly useless without the ability to create a poll and quickly cut/paste it into the group chat app. You already show the link you just need to make it able to be copied in iOS.

The concept of Poll Everywhere is good, but if we're talking about PollEverywhere specifically, the layout of it is terrible. It's confusing. I think it would better benefit users if there were sections/folders for each number you answer to. I have use PollEverywhere for multiple classes and all of my answers are just thrown together on the side bar and its difficult to sort through them.

My university purchased a premium account for all of us in my university... And let me tell you that was a waste of money. Since the beginning I've had issues. I've switched to teaching on my iPad and they haven't figured out a simple constant bug, how to keep the text on the slide. The text on the poll slides off to the right for no apparent reason. So you literally cannot see your question or the student responses.
