I love the teaching methods, especially learning to recognize spoken phrases.
There are great explanations of the grammar.
The videos explain Spanish unique use of words in different situations
****** Caution: When watching the videos, keep your iPad in vertical position. Then you will be able to see the written version of the video at bottom of screen as well as the return to main menu at top of page. If I held my iPad horizontally, I only saw the video and could not find a way to exit the video.

I am a physician taking Spanish lessons weekly. Mi maestra uses this app for 1/2 of our class time together. I find it really useful for new words and appropriate use of language (how to put phrases together). With my American keyboard we can’t do the accents and tildes which the program wants, that’s the only drawback. Otherwise, 5 stars!

PollyLingual has really been a help to me. I think the creators are brilliant. They can keep adding but honestly there is enough to teach you how to communicate with a Hebrew speaking person. This is year two for me.

I paid for a “Polly Passport”, and PollyLingual worked well in the past, but now when I try to open it, it cannot authenticate my log-in. I sent two emails to support with details about the problem, but weeks later, still NO response to my support requests, so I recommend NOT buying PollyLingual.

PollyLingual is so useful and so affordable! Deserves a lot more recognition for how much work was put into it

It’s an excellent app to learn heabrew or any other language. It’s easy to use and it’s wonderful and very instruction always.

App just crashes whatever you do..

PollyLingual glitches some but it may be my wifi. But the language seems to be pretty dead on.

I was almost fluent in Chinese, and I was just brushing up on my skills. I've read the reviews about the awful audio, but when I listen it's seem to be pretty dead on. For people learning the language for the first time, The English lettering next to the Chinese character is pinyin. While pinyin may have the same characteristics as English, it is very different. For those of you who do not understand pinging, I would trust the audio or learn pinyin. I don't know about the rest of the languages, but I assume it is the same situation.

Great app overall but can the French audio be fixed please, it is not working !

I like that they combined all the different languages together but the individual apps seemed to work better. The new version misquotes and sometimes doesn't work at all. Plus, there is no more search function by swiping left, which was so helpful I downloaded the old apps of current languages even though it takes a lot of memory. Please fix!!

Purchased app a few weeks ago. Was able to access and use app for approximately 30 minutes the same day. Since then, have tried to access app without much success. After a couple of seconds, app crashes. Have deleted and reloaded app multiple times. To date (approximately 3 weeks), I have been unable to use app. Waste of time and money.

I was a user of Que Onda Spanish. This new app has all the same stuff but easier to get to the other language they offer.

Update: STILL no fix with mismatching audio. I click on a word, and the audio doesn't match. It's getting quite annoying, especially for the Chinese course.

PLEASE, for the love of pizza, FIX the Chinese vocabulary set, especially for the Government section. The audio and words don't match. It has been a long time, and no changes have been made.

Please check for inconsistencies.

I don't know who is reading these reviews, but DON'T ignore this.

I'll give it a more positive review when all (or most) of the problems with PollyLingual are resolved.

I've recently been re-learning German and Polly Lingual has been really helpful. The interface is great and the content is top notch.

I paid for the complete app about 5 yrs ago and since then software has been updated to this Polly-crap I cannot finish unless I subscribe to a monthly pmt. Every subject I click on says I have to subscribe. F-it! Just refund my money instead!

Since PollyLingual Support button in PollyLingual Store doesnt work for some reason I resort to putting this in the reviews section: 1) Im sure that, to you as programmers who are steeped in a "many languages" platform you think everyone else is as well. Be assured that, barring a tiny minority, we out here use your program to learn one language, not to celebrate your app covering many. Can you add some code that remembers that I am learning hebrew instead of me having to choose hebrew from a list every time i use it? It makes the experience feel cheap and common. Like only being able to buy Krispy Kreme donuts at a Krispy Kreme location (special) vs buying them next to the twinkies in Walmart (not special). Make me feel like you are completely engaged with my learning hebrew instead of being concerned that people use your product. I don't need to be reminded about how cool this app is every time i learn hebrew. I pay you. I already know. Just keep me in hebrew.
2) In your list of lessons, LETTERS (aleph-bet consonants/long consonants/vowels) needs to be FIRST. Otherwise your hangman games are useless and your lessons are crippled considerably. Your method for learning the alephbet letters is exceptional! It was the first lesson when PollyLingual was called Ma Kore and that worked well. Bring that back!

3) I love using your app. The lesson/test combination really works for my way of learning!

4) I haven't entered into the world of this app language ambassadors yet but it sounds intriguing.

I bought Ma Kore, which is now Polly lingual Hebrew.

The Polly lingual doesn't download. Every time I want to use it I have to log on to it thru PollyLingual Store.

It's support team Replies to 50% of the emails I send. Still doesn't address the problem.

It has all the lang. I want to learn with the way to learn it!
