I’ve tried to contact support now three times to cancel a subscription it made me pay for. They haven’t gotten back to me over the course of over a month. Very sketchy and unprofessional. I am still being charged for this “Premium Pass Subscription” I was forced to pay for to convert my document. I was desperate to get this file so I paid for it so I could use it briefly and I’ve tried to contact support to cancel it but no one will get back to me. I’ll be contacting Apple soon if I do not get a response.

Wish I could give it 0 stars. This is such a malicious app model. I couldn’t even convert one file because I got prompted to commit to a free trial or pay for a subscription out right.

You could have just let the users try out TheDocumentConverter free for a week without any strings. But by forcing people to sign up first you are counting on them forgetting to cancel so you can swindle them out of their money.

The sole reason I paid the $10 was to convert a word doc to pdf. Keeps failing. And Q&A isn’t helpful. Only offered “why my pdf won’t convert” which explains why a pdf might not convert to other formats, not the other way around. So instead I tried to convert to jpg, because I have another app that converts jpg to pdf... but TheDocumentConverter converts it to a zip file instead, and says use izip to open it. I have to download ANOTHER app to open the zip file to get the jpg to convert it to a pdf??? Seriously?!

That was $10 wasted. Downloaded an ePub file and wanted to convert it to PDF. Should be a simple process but not with TheDocumentConverter. TheDocumentConverter had trouble downloading the file, but after several tries it was downloaded. Then it tried to convert it and that was a total disaster. Tried several times with no success. After about 15 minutes of telling me it was converting TheDocumentConverter simply closed. Needless to say for me it does nothing it says it will do.

This used to be a decent, simple app to convert pdf files. Unfortunately now it’s useless as TheDocumentConverter refuses to let you convert anything until you sign up for a monthly subscription. Sorry, but i don’t convert enough PDF files for that. This is a once or twice a year thing, so if you think I’m paying a monthly fee for that you’re crazy. Uninstalled.

Having Read TheDocumentConverter’s reviews on App Store, I had high hopes for it. One review mentioned problem with iOS 13 on iPhone 11, but I decided to Download and try TheDocumentConverter on my iPhone XR 13.3.1 today. When I tap the icon to load and open, I am returned instantly to home screen.
Won’t even load.
Any news on update that will make your app compatible with my iPhone?

I downloaded TheDocumentConverter to convert an MSG file. It offered to convert it a number of ways, two of which would require purchasing the premium version. This allowed me to convert to PDF. I figured this would be the best option on my iPad. Sadly, neither this function, nor any of the other functions converting from MSG worked. Thankfully, I am only out $10.

Uploaded and converted files are randomly sorted in the history. They aren’t sorted by name, date or otherwise. To find a file that’s already been uploaded or converted, you have to scroll through the history looking for the file you want one by one. Also, there is no way to delete multiple files at a time. You eventually accumulate many files and to clear them, you must select them one at a time and choose delete.

It’s easy to use and does what it claims. The only time it may not work is if you leave TheDocumentConverter . Even though it says that you can leave and that it’ll notify you when it’s done, it usually doesn’t covert the file.
Recently, it’s been working super slow or can’t finish the conversion.

I had been struggling for about four hours over a period of 2 days. Trying to convert a epub file to document pdf. Finally it begin to work and did so very well. I hope it continue to do so. If so, I have not found another app better than this one. Yes, I recommend it. I had the old app and updated to this one.

I don't understand why it keep trying get me to pay more money. OTHER THAK THAT...THIS IS A GREAT APP.

It’s always an error now whenever I try to convert something

TheDocumentConverter solved a huge problem for me in getting documents from google drive to open in google docs.
I couldn't be happier with it.

Bought TheDocumentConverter to convert documents on my iPad and it does just that. Quick and easy to use. Worth the $$.

Quite happy with the simplicity of TheDocumentConverter. Works exactly as described. 5 star. However with most technology if your connection is poor the conversion can be painfully slow. 2nd observation is its lack of rotation with your iPads orientation, frustrating but not a deal breaker.

Reliably does what TheDocumentConverter says it does. No problems even using iPhone 5s. Very user friendly. Wish there was a PC desktop version.

I have been using TheDocumentConverter for file conversions for a couple of months, and it has worked with no problems at all.

Super easy to use and navigate; moves between other apps seamlessly. Really great user-friendly app that does exactly what it says it does without any headaches. Converts super fast, as well.

After struggling with all the export and import options of the programs I am using, with no success, TheDocumentConverter was the solution. It is easy to use and does the job!

I use it for 20-30 page documents and everything is done in less than a minute. Quite impressive.

Easy to use. Just be aware that large files may take several minutes to convert. Useful app.
