I’m a pretty picky gamer but this game is pretty amazing. I absolutely love it but unfortunately finished it in maybe 2 or 3 days and am now waiting for the update to continue. I tried playing witches and wizards to hold me over while I wait since I figured it would be pretty similar but honestly I got frustrated and bored quickly. I like the lower quality graphics/design of the magical typewriter compared to witches and wizards. I also prefer the magical typewriter in terms of “killing” monsters and such. In witches and wizards it’s almost like a weird Pokémon knock off but in the magical typewriter it’s just how it’s supposed to be where you just use your magic/power on your own and hope for the best. Overall, I can’t wait for the next update and will be checking back for it regularly. In the meantime, I’ll be trying to find a similar game and will update this review when I find one for those also looking for a similar title to play

I’ve played this before in the past, and I just recently reinstalled because I kind of miss it. I can’t even start the storyline at all, because it won’t let me get any coins. I’ve already watched ads and done some of the Sealed Dungeon, and it still tells me that I don’t have any coins afterwards. When I’d like to purchase the magic wand and broomstick, I click on the ads to receive coins, and they still work fine, but when they finish, I find out that I really didn’t receive anything for watching them. I desperately need this to be fixed, so that I can start the storyline, even if I have already completed everything before. I honestly can’t get any coins for doing some of the Sealed Dungeon either, so please fix this for me and anyone else who might be having the exact same problem.

This game is so much fun! In my opinion it is one of the best magic RPG's out there. If they keep updating, it will definitely be the top! Controls are easy to use, but the game in general could be a bit smoother in terms of movement and now that they added different clothes and looks for avatars, I think they could be VASTLY improved. Honestly they all kinda creep me out. Overall super awesome game and can’t wait for more updates to the story!

The developer of this game did such a good job. I actually found and downloaded witches & wizards first because I found it first and I fell in love with it. Good job on that game. But when the game got cut short because it was in beta phase, I turned to this game to see what it was like. At first the game looked like it be meh maybe okay just not as good as witches & wizards. But the more I played, the better it got. And now I'm really looking forward to the game being updated and the storyline continuing. Because it finished just when I found the portal and went through it! But overall I love the game and think the developer makes great games. Maybe you should try making a dragon themed game. That could be interesting. As for this game ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the best works I’ve ever seen on app store. Just finished the quests so far, but it’s exciting to see a To Be Continued sign. The castle is well made, including all rooms, the storyline is well designed. Particle effects could be compared to the PC games I’ve been playing, and the headshake effect is even better than some games on PC. Magic effect (spells / portal) are also a highlight of the game (Love the dragon spell!). Thought outside castle could be enhanced a bit, in all it is a superb game and a game worth trying out if the player is interested in magic.

Quick Q: Is there a way to get a snow owl without IAP (Mission?)? Thanks for a superb game!

I feel like a kid again when I play this game, I love it it’s fun and relaxing and challenging but not too much like some games which can be so challenging it becomes stressful and you get worked up trying to play it. This isn’t like that. This game has just enough challenges to keep it intriguing and interesting and yet it’s still simple enough to be relaxing and be used as a de-stress/unwinding type of game. I would def recommend!

it’s very good i recommend downloading this if you like magic or you like some story very great game But I think it should be for 8+ or 9+ but I don’t know how you get coins now first I played
And then I wanted to restart after some time of not playing it
But then when I played it you couldn’t watch adds to get
Coins if you could please explain how to get coins

I like this game and all but it’s really hard to like it when there’s a bug in here that prevents me from using the typewriter and once I was writing in the guest book, I was almost finished but he game bugged out and logged me out. And when I went back, there was nothing.

And I kinda want an update too, along with a comment session in the guestbook and something make it easier to look for people in the guestbook. And I really want the chat back, the people on it helped me a lot and I really want you to consider it again. Please!

At first glance this game seems limited and small but as you start exploring and doing things you find this game is fun you get to grow and learn different spell but there are a few things that this game needs more things to use your spells on like npcs it also needs better looking grass and graphics and it rlly needs an update it left me at a cliff hanger.

This game is amazing but I finished it all and I have been waiting for an update ever since the middle do 2020. I also don’t like how you can’t pick to turn the music and sound off. Overall this game is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in Harry Potter!

I like the idea. I like the game play.. but I didn’t even part the first “mission” to chase the wizard cus you need to take down the ice which you need a wand. That’s fine. Until you try to get a wand, which you need coins for. But to get coins you HAVE to watch ads or buy them. No matter what, creators make money off of 90% of what you do. Sure. Make money. But when almost everything I do (simply opening doors) requires a video ad or coins I have to buy or watch ads for..? $5 to get rid of the ads like that. Might as well make TheMagicalTypewriter itself $5!!

I’m almost fifteen and I’ve played since I was like ten or eleven... ngl I was probably the reason the Chat Function was removed though XD. I was Talon... anyyyhowwee Can’t wait for an update! The animation and detail is amazing and I’ve just reached the new update point so now I’m stuck waitin for the update.

It's a fun game, but pretty easy and limited. The main issue for me is that after you do all these quests you get to this awesome portal with a huge monster, and you're totally psyched for the next battle. But as soon as you get there, a note from the game designers says this is as far as they've created. Right as the game gets good, you're done. The least they could do was let you beat that as the last (so for) quest. Lame.

It’s great. It’s fun to play and I really enjoyed the adventure part of it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5, is because I completed the main story and it’s taking FOREVER to update!!! It’s been so hard to wait this long. But that’s it. Other than that I would say this is one of the best games I have ever played!

Best game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But when I try to play without the 'speech bubble', it won't let me. I also want to play single player. When I disable the checkbox, it doesn't do anything. I can still see the players! Please fix this. Thanks for putting time and effort on this and many other games!

We need the update! They haven’t updated it so we can continue the story! I’m not trying to hate but it is a problem. I have had it since last year and I still can’t continue! But still a five star game. Keep working on it.😜

I can’t figure out how the heck your supposed to get coins. There is no button to watch a add and get them or a small quest for them. The graphics are pretty good but I don’t know how to get the coins I need or what I need to do. Please make it a little easier and maybe have some basic instructions and maybe some starter coins. Other than that it seemed like a good game from what I saw.

I am deleting this game. It used to be so much fun with the chat but now it is just a drag. I don’t want a speech bubble, I want a chat. Some people were very rude and mean on the chat but, you can add a report section. I was so disappointed when I went to go on the chat and then it wasn’t there. Is there an update idk about. If not, I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say please, please, please with a cherry on top add the chat back it will make the game ten times better! Thank you so much!

So it’s been like a year now and my app still didn’t update and I would really love if you could update my app because every day I check if it’s updated and it’s not so please fix that
