I downloaded DenverTrashandRecycling because the trash/recycling dates changed and I was not notified. DenverTrashandRecycling cannot find my address and nothing happens when I “report” that. I have reported it several times and never heard back. Not helpful as it doesn’t show any information if it cannot find your address. Can’t see the online maps or schedules without an address. Completely useless to me.

I’ve come to depend on the reminders form DenverTrashandRecycling and it’s been reliable. Until today. I realized a few hours too late that I’d missed getting bins out on time. I checked DenverTrashandRecycling hoping for a holiday delay. But DenverTrashandRecycling didn’t show the schedule for my address. Only the recycle search, game, and three dot tabs existed. Looking at settings it still had my address but alerts were turned off. There was no calendar tab button to select, no way to see schedules. I presumed it was a buggy upgrade but seeing that the version is 3 months old I removed and re-installed. Looks normal after reinstall but it can no longer be relied upon so it’s back to manual calendar alerts and putting trash out a day early on holiday weeks.
I know, it’s a free app and it’s not the end of the world to have overflowing bins for a week. It’s just a bummer to not be able to depend on such seemingly simple technology.

The Denver trash pick-up app is very helpful. I can check it when I don’t remember what is being picked up and I am notified for pick-up. It would be great to receive the notification the day before, but I usually get it on the morning of pick-up. It is possible that I am not checking my notifications in a timely manner.

Usually I know which day is regular, recycle, or extra collection day. I even have it on my calendar. However it’s so nice to have a backup reminder. Great service!

In my 30 years of living in Denver, I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences and great customer service from the Waste Management Division. DenverTrashandRecycling only enhances my opinion!

I use it all the time to see what I can and cannot recycle, to know what cans to put out when and to find other places to take things that don’t go into the trash.

Not only is DenverTrashandRecycling super use, the monthly bulk waste pick up is fantastic. We recently moved, and had a ton of of stuff to get rid of. Denver waste picked up EVERYTHING we put out. I can’t say enough good things about this part of Denver services.

I use to have to look at the paper copy or go online to find out when various pick ups were. I didn’t know if I would like DenverTrashandRecycling that much, but it’s super helpful!

Being relatively new to Denver, I find the notices and scheduling reminders a simple but extremely useful tool. Other metropolitan areas could step up by adopting the same.

I’ve lived in 5 states (7 different cities) and two other countries. All aspect of trash services in Denver are # 1! The best hands down. Never had a on-line notification service, so that makes it #1++!

I work lots of hours and am always coming home late. Love that you can set reminders for whatever time works best for you. Without DenverTrashandRecycling I’d probably forget to put my trash out every week

Such a pleasure to look up information I need instantly with DenverTrashandRecycling. I check it at least once a week to make sure I put out the right bins, and to keep updated on new recyclables.

Should have downloaded DenverTrashandRecycling when I moved to Denver from the suburbs in the summer. Reminds you the evening before trash and recycling. See the schedule ahead of time to know when extra trash/large items/holiday delays are. It’s great for its purpose.

In Denver’s unyielding drive to cut costs/ services so they can line pockets by dumping it into the airport revamp, the garbage schedule changes often with some services taking up to six weeks. Who can keep up? Well now you can. It’s useful; though it won’t win any UX/UI awards.

Was having a hard time keeping up with “extra trash” days even though I had downloaded the calendar to my phone...issue, no alerts. I downloaded DenverTrashandRecycling to my phone and enabled it’s alert feature, haven’t missed an “extra trash” day since! Nice app!

I find DenverTrashandRecycling to be simple, user friendly, and quite useful. I use it every week to remind myself when the recycling goes out, which, since it’s every other week, I sometimes forget. It’s good to know when monthly or yearly things come up like large trash or tree collecting.

I appreciate getting reminders each week about when and what will be picked up. It is especially helpful on weeks with holidays and if the schedule should change for any other reason.

I love DenverTrashandRecycling. I always know what barrel to take to the curb. Love knowing when large item collection is, and what was the latest date to put out my Christmas tree. It’s nice not having to check the calendar I got in the mail. However I still have the yearly calendar hanging on my frig just in case a zombie apocalypse happens and my cell doesn’t work.

A simple yet effective app. Reminds you in the evening that trash day is in the morning, as well as what’s being collected. Schedule is updated regularly, and there’s no annoying side features that pester you.

Makes it easy to see what is collected when and when holidays affect pick up day. The only thing I couldn’t do was request an additional bin.

DenverTrashandRecycling is great for giving updates on trash/recycle/composting days. Let you know the day before it time to take out your trash. Also the Holiday changes so you cans are not out for a extra day.
