HTX Trash and Recycling Reviews

It doesn’t matter how I input my address, HTXTrashandRecycling has yet to find it. I tried to select one of the suggested addresses that comes up as you’re typing, and I get an error that it can’t be found. It doesn’t populate the suggested address in the search when selected, so I manually type in the suggested address and get the same error.

What happened to the Roll Out app? It worked.

I had the same issue with the website online - please tell me how to input my own address for this to work (the post office seems to know it in the same format I use…). Otherwise, where can I find a calendar/schedule online that doesn’t require an address to be input to get this information.

It just tells the trash schedule and allows to report trash not being picked up. It does not allow any other issues to be reported or services needed. Deleted it.

Doesn’t give all info and could be much more user friendly.

HTXTrashandRecycling is very good at letting you know pickup schedules and usually lets you know when there is a delay in pickups. (This last time, it didn’t show the delay).

The one major thing that could be improved is when reporting missed pickups. It’s hard to find, and when you do find the option, it is more of a web link than an integrated part of HTXTrashandRecycling . It does not use HTXTrashandRecycling info, to fill in the address, not does it even start a missed trash pickup ticket, but brings up a generic 311 issue ticket.

The included game is just eye candy that could be eliminated.

In its place a better recycle guide would be useful. One that covers more items of what is and isn’t recyclable and any special prep needed to recycle.

Info about heavy trash needs to be updated to show odd heavy trash months as TREE WASTE ONLY because every month shows as JUNK WASTE. Otherwise, this is helpful info.

I am abke to keep up with trash collection and the push notifications are helpful.

HTXTrashandRecycling assists me in knowing what month it is for the heavy trash and keeps me updated on status of trash/recycling pickup

I just started using HTXTrashandRecycling this month. It is very helpful to know when service is delayed and when to expect pickup. Previously, I marked my calendar and I would return my container(s) to the backyard and miss a delayed service. Now I get timely reminders and status updates.

Now I don’t forget nor I have to guess app helps a lot for addresses I need Auntie’s , mine and roommate’s mom’s house

I no longer have to rely on my spotty memory for which week is recycling week, or heavy trash pickup day — HTXTrashandRecycling reminds me! It’s simple, and just what I wanted and needed it to be.

The service is an embarrassment. At least now we have live updates that confirm that the service is lousy. The Mayor should be sacked.

I really appreciate the live updates from the City when there are delays or schedule changes. Also super easy to use

HTXTrashandRecycling works great and it helps out that it informs whenever there are delays. Also, reminds me when I need to take out recycling, junk and tree waste. I would like for there to be a recycling guide/ resources as to where to take certain recyclables that can’t be picked up at the curb.

Misreported my collection date, and also does not match collection date info from COH website.
