A first like everyone said, it’s very addicting in the beginning but closer to level 13-15 the movie casting start to end quickly. I work durning the day M-F I feel of HollywoodStory isn’t ran with 2/3 hrs they should pause it until you get back on HollywoodStory when you have free time. They want you to spend allll day on your electronics & spend your hard earn working money that goes BACK to the government. At first when your VIP if you miss the movie audition you have to spend 10 gems. OK that cool. But then when you go to the next level you gotta spend 38!? Are y’all crazy. I’ll be missing everyone. Well that’s not the bad part, I guess since I’m not spending any money, I try to load the game today to play & it’s still sitting on 25% loading. For the past 30 minutes. I restarted my phone twice still there. So now I can’t play the game! This is not something you want to waste your time on. It’s a waste of time, MONEY, & energy! You all, stop spending y’all money on these games because after a few months I give & take & say a year, you won’t be playing the game any longer. Your money can go somewhere else, seriously! I’m done with these games! You all, please pick up a book & read, get out the house, enjoy life.. Tomorrow’s not promised to no one! Do your phone control YOU? Or you do you control your phone!? 💯

Was recommended this game as a KKH replacement after the game shut down. I really don't like the scummy practices this game takes, and it ruins any fun I could have with the game. First, the time it takes to recover energy goes from 8 seconds, which makes the game fun and fast, to 30 seconds in a couple in-game missions. Immediate turn off. Next, fan gifts are obviously rigged. That's all. Next, value of diamonds is truly terrible. Often, items cost 10 diamonds in game, and 50 is 4.99. That's teetering on insanity, and this game doesn't have the depth to justify a price tag like that. Next, collecting items. Just another way to get you to throw energy in the trash looking for a compact mirror that apparently you need 5 of before they'll let you shoot. Also, the movies are boring, and sound like they were written by an 8 year old with a poor home life and an even poorer imagination. The clothes are ugly, the characters you interact with are ugly, the developer practices are ugly. Could be a good game if it wasn't pay to play. I have no problem paying for games and do regularly, but what am I even paying for with this game, so I can pay more quicker? Lame. The team should look into a subscription-based game, or literally anything, so this game is actually worth playing beyond level 12.

In the beginning I LOVED this game. But then I opened HollywoodStory one day and I noticed that my gems were missing. I let it pass that one time thinking that it would fix when the new update came around. So I let is pass and then the new update came around where now you could visit the Maldives. So I’m thinking that the issue was fixed. And then I open the game this morning and my gems are missing again! I have over 250 gems last night before I went to bed. Now I only have 99! And that’s exactly the number of gems I had before when the game stole my gems the first time! Also one of my quest is telling me to shoot a tv show. So I went to London to do it and I go into the studio and click the piece of paper and it tells me that it is only available on Tuesday’s. Like it’s Wednesday! It’s been saying that for weeks now. Plus everything you want for your character whether it’s clothes or accessories cost gems. Like the only places you can get clothes for cash are the stores In Harlem and queens. Everywhere else is all gems! Like you want me to use gems for almost everything but it’s not like you give me gems all the time. If you play games at the casino, usually they give you like 2 or 3 gems. But you want me to pay like 25 gems for a pair of heels. And I’m sure no using my hard own money to pay for gems like that! Heck no! If this game keeps having these issues I’m going to delete it because I just can’t deal with this anymore.

I used to love and enjoy this game, until I started to notice that in order to complete anything in this game you have to spend your own hard earned money in order to get enough diamonds, stars, money, etc to be able to complete a simple mission or simply just play the game as a whole. They also have this new option where you have to download and play a game to receive “free 15 diamonds” I put that in quotations because that’s just a lie, I have tried that option and I have yet to receive anything. I have even tried updating the game, restarting the game, restarting my own device, checked my network, etc. but I still have yet to receive anything and it is beyond frustrating. Stop scamming and lying to people. You shouldn’t have to spend your own money on diamonds, stars, cash, etc in order to do ONE simple thing in this game. And I’m not the only one that has found this a major issue. There are countless reviews of people telling you everything I have mentioned above is a major problem and all you do is say you’re great full for the feed back and you’ll fix the issues. But as we all know that’s another lie. You have not fixed anything, you deliberately ignore the many people that have an issue. If you really cared about your game and your players you would actually fix your game and compensate the people for whatever they did not receive and/or got completely scammed out of and have shared that with you either publicly or privately.

I used to play this game all the time and now I realized why I stopped playing it. I’ve been playing for a few weeks now and I’m a pretty high level. I have a lot of money because it’s easy to get it, especially since you can pay gems to get it. When it comes to gems I only really get them after spending a bunch. It’s extremely hard to get them and when you do you have to then spend them on clothes or tasks. This is really annoying. The only places where you can really get clothes that aren’t very expensive are Harlem and Queens. Next, energy. It goes down way too quick. Most of the time I should not even be wasting it! You have me search for collectibles for tasks when they are common items that you could buy instead (especially because money is easy to get!!) you can make it to where you have to buy it instead of wasting energy. I HATE having to leave HollywoodStory to wait for my energy to go up and then failing an audition, then having to pay gems to try again?! HECK NO! Finally, the stories. Most of the time they are super fun but also make NO SENSE! Like, you have me date someone as a task (that takes energy!!) and then have me go date someone else for a story?! It’s not realistic. I know it’s just a game but games should not be about me spending actual money from paychecks or getting extremely angry just because my energy ran out. It makes no sense and until this game is fixed of its issues, I’m deleting it!

Update: Allow us to have the energy that we earned!! If we are at 65, but earn 30 more why do we have to loose that 30? Why can’t you all open up that energy? Other games do it. It’s a waist of time to play this game, earn energy such as going up a level, and then the new energy just goes away instead of building on top of that 65. Initial: This game still makes no sense to me in the following ways: 1) When leveling up, we receive energy that we cannot use if the energy that we had is still full? 2) As we level up, the total amount of energy that we accrue is zero on some levels? 3) It takes until level 52 to get to 60 for energy? 4) It takes so much energy to make a movie and a tv show simultaneously. 5) The clothes & other accessories are far too expensive. 6) Purchasing the homes are also too expensive. Lastly, 7) The loss of fans is we haven’t logged in for a day? This game is rigged unfairly for players. It’s a complete money-maker for the gamers. And, don’t try to send them a message because they do not respond. 1st review: I did not receive money & etc from a recent movie shoot because the game crashed. Takes too long to load as well. I like this game, but it crashes frequently. Plus the outfits cost far too much in diamonds and coins. The energy diminishes too fast. Some of the arrows do not work either. Frustrating!

I like this game, I became obsessed while my partner and I had COVID-19. This game helped me quarantine because being at home all day really gets hard when you have to. Anyways, my issue is that this game is expensive and I feel wronged that I have paid for so many diamonds and to complete tasks etc.. buy the best outfits etc.. it’s hard to get through the game I am constantly getting stuck on certain levels as my energy burns through way too quick. So I Constantly have to stop and wait at least 30 minutes for the energy to reload. I also did these surveys to get free diamonds which turned out to only cheat me out of giving my name, number, email and address to a loop of never ending surveys which was a lot of work only to get nothing in return. Actually I lied more I get hundreds of spam calls a day and creepy voicemails with robots telling me the FBI is looking for me.
Besides that issue, I really don’t want to pay 5 bucks just do a few tasks. And be left on empty.
I try to find help online and it seems that all the bugs have been fixed so people can’t get more diamonds easily so I really feel like this game is kind of a dead end unless I pay, pay, and pay.

Ultimately I feel like whoever created this game is doing a great job at this scheme, having me chase this game with my money like a feign chasing a high.

First off the game is fun but the fact that you have to keep buying diamonds is baffling. Seems like if you don’t spend money you really won’t get far in the game. Most of the items cost diamonds and it’s hard to come by diamonds. Spending 100 dollars doesn’t even get you a lot of diamonds. I think HollywoodStory is a get rich fast scheme by the creators. You get addicted to playing but without money you can’t even complete the stories. IF YOU DONT WANT TO SPEND REAL MONEY DONT INSTALL THIS GAME. This game need more items that you can buy with the money you earn on there not real life money. Stop being greedy it’s ridiculous how much money you have to spend on this game just to make it anywhere. Don’t get me started on the energy that’s even worse. Why does this game have so flaws? There should be unlimited life spans but instead they want you to spend more money that’s how they get you. you run out of life you have to pay unless you want to wait a hr to play again. if you run out of diamonds you’re on your own because you’ll have to spend more real money to get more smh. DO BETTER!!! I suggest people stop playing this game altogether until they make better options for people who can’t spend 100 to 300 dollars or more on a cellphone game🙄... Minds well turn this game into a playstation or xbox game to get the full benefits.

I really enjoy playing this game, but I can only give a rating of 3 stars..... My biggest reason for only giving 3 stars is because everything that I must buy cost diamonds... I have paid out of my own pocket for diamonds, but I don’t feel like I should have to continually pay out of my pocket for diamonds, but I have found that if I didn’t, I would still be waiting to win diamonds.. A lot of the tasks say you must buy clothes and I find very little if any that I can buy with the cash.... Not only does everything you purchase must be purchased with diamonds, but the items are ridiculously expensive... I have read through many of the reviews and find the majority of the people that play this game and write reviews have the same complaint... It would be nice if more items could be purchased with the money, and not just jewelry and shoes, but the really nice dresses or even the items that the store person is offering and if it was easier to collect diamonds and not just one and two at a time, but sometimes maybe collecting enough to buy a nice gown after a task.... Lastly it would be nice to receive more free clothing items per story instead of one dress every three to four storylines and to actually go out on a date a few times with the husband instead of the husband just standing in the corner and not dating others while married.... If any of my suggestions would/could become reality I would gladly give Hollywood Story a rating of 5 stars...

Ok, so this game was very well thought out. The graphics were flawless and the ideas were great. Its just not something I would be begging for. The tasks were fun and you earned lots of rewards by doing them. There was a reasonable wait time for energy. I liked how you could find things by searching mailboxes and benches. I don't remember how much energy it took, probably one or two. One big thing for me was, it was called Hollywood STORY. I expected more choices in the conversations. In the week I have been playing this I only made one decision in the conversations I was having with the npc’s. I don't really get the weekly task thing. One thing I do like is most of the items for required gameplay are free. You can get diamonds and cash by completing tasks or searching the streets. The magazine covers are nice and the movies are well thought out. I do also like the idea of some other Hollywood actress competing with you. So really the only thing I don't like, was it was just boring. When you didn't have any energy you couldn't do anything. The storyline was slow and took a while to get to the next part. Sure it may get more interesting as the game moves on, but with the current pace I don't feel the desire to keep going. If you want a game with fast progress this game isn't for you. Some people may find this interesting. But its not for me.

I love the game but everything is really expensive or cost a lot of diamonds I wish that the diamonds could be bought with the money you make like how you can buy your cash with diamonds. I still love the game but I wish it was less expensive to buy everything in the stores! Especially the stuff in the Fashion Arena. Like 300 diamonds for a dress or tiara is just to much money for me to pay! I would like for the free diamonds to please give us like ten or even twenty diamonds has a reward instead of one or two. And that is why I give the game three stars and sometimes when I am looking for premieres to attend my person show up on the board instead of the person hosting it and then when I go into the premiere it is a different person so please fix that it makes me uncomfortable. Thanks! Also the house in Aspen, the Maldives, Paris, and London cost a lot of diamonds to buy. The Hollywood mansion is much cheaper but still 75 diamonds? For a house? Please make the game less expensive and change the house in cash instead of diamonds thank you! The house in aspen cost 200 the London one cost 300 diamonds and the Paris one is 250 diamonds so please please make stuff less expensive

I have been playing for 2 years and, although it was boring filming the same movies Over And Over again, I was delighted when they added the TV Show filming last year. However, by September I stopped receiving invites to film TV shows, although I could still film the same movies over and over again - I asked support what was going on and why I was not able to film tv shows anymore but only received suggestions that solved nothing (have worked on computers since the 80’s and performed the usual troubleshooting before contacting tech support). December came and still no solution was given, so I asked if the problem might be that I had filmed all TV episodes they had written and there were no more to film. They kept insisting something was wrong with my device (and kept suggesting to update, uninstall, reinstall the game) finally in march they wrote me and confirmed I had, indeed filmed all the TV episodes they had written and must wait until they write more - I am SO bored refilming the same movies I have already filmed at least 20 or more times each, why is it not possible to film TV shows multiple times? Anyone else experiencing this problem? Developers - how about providing your long time players with more filming options?

I LOVE this game and I’ve been playing it since it came out but I deleted because they stopped adding new things such as stories or shops or any new features. I downloaded it again and I can see they have improved so much more. However; let me just say, while I love this game and their new features, I cannot with the constant glitches. It didn’t occur when I started playing again but over time, the game just shut down or just showed an empty black screen. And anytime I try to get diamonds through the free ads, it just either gives me a black screen or just shuts down or it plays for a couple of minutes then crashes or it just doesn’t give me the diamond even after watching the ad. I did not mind it so much but today when I went to play the daily wheel of fortune, I sept my diamonds to buy a couple of coins. And so I bought the coins and played but after some spin when I was about to hit jackpot it SHUT DOWN. At first I didn’t get mad but then I went back in again and I got another big reward but just as I was about to get it it SHUT DoWned aGAin! This has happened other times but I was fine with it because those time I didn’t spend my preciously earned diAMonds! Someone please tell me this is not just happening to me!

I’ve been playing for years . Deleted it and just got it back, and I’ll say I’m happy to see there were some changes. But I’m very irritated with the fact that when we earn more energy the energy won’t generate if our bar is already full. It already takes little to nothing to run out and we have to wait hours for it to fill so why not let us collect our prize when we are rewarded more it’s a waste of energy. Also every single thing that we need cost diamonds. And we hav to spend out ownnnn money for them instead of earning on the game. That’s weird being so it takes little to nothing to stack cash on that game and there are barely anything on there that would cost cash. So we just have a boatload of cash no diamonds and barely enough energy to do anything. That’s why I got rid of the game before I could never get to the near end of it to actually enjoy the game because all the task cost real cash. I run out of energy so fast I could barely stay on the game for 30 minutes. If anything we should be able to spend all that cash we got on more diamonds. Then having to collect a thousand collectible but our energy don’t even last long to do anything this is insane.

If everything is gonna cost diamonds please make it easier to get it also in fashion arena you need to make it more fair because it’s really really hard to make a runway design if I keep losing because the game puts you up against someone who’s outfit is literally made out of runway designs!!!!! It’s just not fair I can’t complete Ambers quest if I can only get 2 fashion points put round like how is that fair the game is fun and also the collectibles shouldn’t cost energy points or because when we’re trying to look for something suddenly we’re out and we have to wait like a hour to look again again MAKE IT EASIER TO GET DIAMONDS like if we can only get like 1 to 10 diamonds if you complete a quest how in the world am I supposed to save up like 200 or something it’s gonna take MONTHS and who in there right mind would want to spend all there money on virtual diamonds to get virtual dresses people might once in while but that is basically the ONLY WAY TO GET DIAMONDS I want to buy the fashion arena outfits and buy stuff from like Hollywood Culture Or Luxe but oh wait I can’t earn diamonds because the developer probably just wants everyone to spend all there money on diamonds that is just so stupid if something doesn’t change soon I’m gonna delete the game!!!!!!

Hi! So my complaints are each task you get a lot of cash. And you can even get more from like 5 gems. But yet in stores a lot of stuff is gems. I have like so much cash but I can only get like sunglasses/glasses and plain tops and pants/shorts and purses and maybe hats I’m not sure maybe more. And also you can only spend cash in like the Harlem store. (Forgot the name) And the shop in Queens called Fashion Dream i think. That’s basically the only places you can get dresses from with cash. (I think) And with the gems you have to pay actual money in real life but with cash you can get like I don’t know how much but like a lot with only 5 gems. So That’s my first complaint. My last complaint is that the energy goes down quick if you have to get something for like a movie audition and you look in stuff that takes away some energy I think. (Even tho you can go to Cece at the hairdresser place in Harlem for the stuff ) Also when you are filming your movie it takes away energy and it won’t come back until a while or something like that mine came back in a day. Those are my complaints. Overall I would recommend getting Hollywood Story!!

The game is great . I enjoy it a lot . The animations . Everything .
I give it a 4/5 because if all the things that are unavailable . In London the top floor. The Maldives the it’s like 2 things locked. I don’t like that my husband travels to new houses but the child does not. Can we get more things to do with the child. More interaction or like a baby store or something . Add the husband in the picture thanking options. Interactions with pets. They are so costly but do nothing at all . Not even add enough fans . I’m at levels 145 or something along the lines and i play often so when new things come I blow through them quick . Please update soon. Or add more than 5 stories at a time. Please make some things stick . The stories mean nothing if people are just gonna forget about it all and do whatever . There is a whole interview station with a lady in there who does nothing or never has a story line anymore . Please update that one guys store . Giuseppe . Please give us new hairstyles for ourselves and the children. And also please make things where we have to bring our family along. It’s sad that all they do is sit in the house waiting for my interaction and the never attend anything .

I finally came to review after playing on and off for 5 years. Let me say this is overall a good game. You can level up without really having to spend money. I do occasionally buy their discounted $4.99 packages in order to move forward. I like a lot of the new mini games added (lucky slots, fashion arena, fashion battles). Any time I had issues, customer service responds quickly, takes care of the issue and fairly compensates.
The reason I can’t 5 star this is because items that you could buy with cash requires diamonds now versus before, some of the items requires too many diamonds…if you could lower the cost of items (clothing, accessories, tattoos etc…) that would be nice. Also, let more items be purchased using cash versus diamonds. I know a lot of teens play this game and it would be nice for them to enjoy. It would be nice also to have different movie choices, more clothes added for boosts for shooting movies (the Las Vegas clothes store..I purchased everything there lol).
As a developer, your company has done great with this game, it has come a long way. I do see you improve via update’s as well. I had to delete it because I ran out of space on my iPad. I started playing this game back in 2016 so I have seen the growth. If you can consider what I said, I think it could be better. Thanks.

I absolutely love playing this game. I literally have sat and played this game for a few hours, I like how you can get cash for shooting movies, talk shows and playing all of the mini games. The only real problem with this game is that the clothes, shoes and all things you have to buy with diamonds, gems and other coins are absolutely ridiculous. I have really bought a lot of diamond packs and it’s like as soon as you have at least 1000 diamonds you guys start putting out more nice things to buy. I can never save diamonds because all of the clothes and shoes are expensive, let’s not even talk about the diamond boutique, 750 diamonds for one dress is ridiculous. You can’t really get that far into the game if you don’t spend your actual money. I really wish you guys would consider bringing the prices down so I won’t have to spend a good $150-$200 per week on a game that relaxes me while also letting me get away from this world of insanity. This game is really addictive because I could just put it down if I didn’t want to spend so much real cash unfortunately I have tried this but then I find myself right back on it a few days later

Hello!! I love this game too much! It’s a very nice game but has some tweaks to it. One major problem has to be with diamonds. It’s so hard to earn them, and then u have really expensive outfits that need diamonds, and a lot of them. I’de really like it if you would take my considerations and add more fun diamond earning opportunities. For example like more fun mini games in the Los Vegas casino. Three mini games is a really disappointing feature, because we want to be excited everyday to know that we have so many more opportunities to earn some diamonds. The wheel of fortune is amazing, however extra additional mini games aren’t gonna kill anyone. Also another issue to diamonds would be the 30 second videos! Yes they are great, but they only offer one diamond!! They should offer at least 2 or 3. I mean it’s only like two videos that we get to watch anyways, so why not make them worth it. Honestly your game would literally be PERFECT!! It’s only the diamond earning issue. Please, please do something about them, because it’s very frustrating. I’m beginning to change my mind about the game, over this one issue!

I love this game. I absolutely love how you can choose what you are going to say and make your choices but do so many other various things. Like buy outfits, from famous places like Manhattan, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, and others. It’s amazing. And you can star in a Fashion Competition. This is the ONLY game in HollywoodStory Store with this feature. And it works no less than spectacular! You can change your hairstyles and connect to the world! I also think they made a very wise choice letting us get 5 extra energy multiple times for watching a short video. The offers and deals are also amazing. All the sales in the stores have a 50% off. I am just hoping you can bring back the holiday stands in Beverly Hills! I absolutely adored them so much. And if you could make some of the things cheaper. They become a BIT more expensive each level. But, back to the compliments, they give you quick diamonds and cash in the beginning, so that is fantastic as well. Also, this game, I will recommend to many people, if you DON’T STOP making the side games! 😊(Like the Fashion Show, Fan Gifts) And please add more Mega Levels! Thanks again soooo much for this magnificent game, and don’t ever stop continuing the features in this thing. Please reply and try to...

‼️‼️ hardly EVER write reviews on games so that just proves how much I love this game lol, but I wish there were more clothes, shoes, and accessories that you could buy with the games cash currency. So many of the games clothes and etc. can only be bought with diamonds and it takes forever to get diamonds unless you are willing to purchase them. I’m not naive enough to think that one little review would change that I just think that that’s something to consider before downloading and getting into the game! Especially if you aren’t willing to spend real money on purchasing diamonds to buy the clothes and things. It wouldn’t be such a big deal if clothes weren’t such an essential part of the game. You need a new dress for just about everything if you want to gain fans and move up. Then there’s the energy bar, it runs out way to fast then takes forever to refill. UNLESS YOU HAVE DIAMONDS. it’s just a super frustrating thing that not only I have noticed that the developers seem to be completely ignoring. I feel like if they want people to play their game long term they’d take these things into consideration. Then again they are probably happy with people downloading, spending money and deleting HollywoodStory as long as they get paid. Which is frustrating.

Hi, I like this game and I think it’s really fun to play, but the only issue is the diamonds and how some of it is rigged. I bought a deal for $4.99 and I got 500 diamonds and a dress, it was a good deal but a lot of stuff costs diamonds and it was kinda annoying since I had almost $300,000 and I could’ve used a lot of that on more stuff but almost everything costed diamonds. That’s that about diamonds and now on the rigged stuff, I don’t know if it’s true but I was using the wheel in the casino and I heard a lot about how it was rigged so I payed close attention. I noticed that it was getting slower and then when I was about to land on the 500 diamonds it started speeding up a little so I wouldn’t land on it. And the fan gifts too, I was so close to getting my third jackpot and getting 100+ diamonds, I had a dress and money and fashion coins that I was about to win. But as I got close to winning I started getting busted tickets every time I clicked on a gift, I got it 3 times in a row and it wasted pretty much all of my diamonds. I didn’t wanna give it all up since I would’ve pretty much got my diamonds all back but I didn’t have enough to give. Those are my two issues that have made me start not playing the game as much, I don’t know if this is just my account but it’s not as fun to play anymore now that everything uses up my diamonds fast.

This game is amazing. I love how you do a few tasks and you get like 10,000 cash. You can get rich very quickly in the game and buy a good amount of stuff. On the other hand, you don’t get diamonds that quickly. I mean some tasks give you diamond(s), but other than that, you have to pay for them. Also, most of the shops sell a lot of their stuff for diamonds. All my favorite stuff at the shops you have to pay for with diamonds. Which I know is a marketing thing to get money, but maybe make few of those things in cash (and like 20,000 cash, not 250,000). I just bought 50 diamonds for $5, and it’s not the best deal. I got rid of those diamonds very quickly because there were so many tasks like, “Buy a dress from Hollywood Couture (which if you don’t know is one of the shops that takes mainly diamonds)”. I just find it so annoying. The energy also runs out so quickly, and takes forever to come back. Because of that, I leave the game quite a lot so doing tasks takes forever. Also, a lot of tasks are like, “You need to search for 3 perfume bottles”. I can’t get anywhere in the game having to go in and out of the game. Please make the energy last long or came back quicker, make diamonds easier to get, and make less things cost 50+ diamonds. Overall, those are all the complaints I have. Only 3 or 4 things. I love the game and it would be nice to have just those few things fixed.
